Medial presentation of children contention with international dimension

The subject of the dissertation is quantitative content analysis and critical discoursive analysis of media presentation of contention about children with international dimension from gender perspective in context of cause of Sára Barao. The main intention is to analyze if and in what way is in daily press discussing the problem of contention about children with international dimension reflected and strenghtened maternal myth and if discussion strenghtens in explicit and implicite way gender stereotypes regarding picture of mother, father and child. Further task is to analyze how and in what way the discussion contributes to gender stereotypical strenghtening of divided spheres - the division into the private sphere attributed to woman and public sphere connected with man. The construction of the picture of mother, father and child is analyzed also in relation to specific journalist practises and the attention is paid to the question how the daily press constructs discussion where the main participants are members of private sphere. In relation to significant role of media in current society it is possible to assume that the daily press can be a source of information about uderstanding of motherhood in our society.

Application of decision-making models for choosing a pathway

The aim of this thesis is, by using the methods of multi-criteria decision, to design and recommend a suitable variant of the communication for the pedestrian for the preparation of a tender documentation for the public tender in the village of Dolany.
The issue of the decision-making processes in the selection of the optimal variants using the methods of multi-criterial decision-making is analyzed in the literature research of the publication. The description of multi-criteria methods reflects the subsequent procedure of the calculation in the practical part. Research also deals, regarding to the theme of the publication, with selected requirements in the procurement, sub-targets of the tender documentation for the selection procedure and a brief specification of the communication for the pedestrian.
The practical part of the thesis starts with the description of the village of Dolany and the preparation for the setting the options. The determination of the possible variants and the choice of different criteria follow. The selection of the compromise variants is carried out using the method of the analytical hierarchical process (AHP) for the possibility of inclusion also qualitative criteria which cannot be fitted into the framework of the tender documentation. In the end, the selected option is recommended to the village of Dolany.

Problems of education and possible socialization of individuals with mental disability to current legislation is analyzing in this desertation work. Basic ideas, characteristic of problems and development of care are mentioned in theoretical part. One of the chapters take historical moments of this problem. Practical part is made as case study, which follows partial family with handicapped child. Case study deal with involment of child to education and record his/her education to current day. Financial literacy of high school students

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of financial literacy of high school students. The level of financial literacy is currently more and more discussed issue due to the potential threats leading from the ignorance of financial literacy.
The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is used for explaining and defining basic terms from the field of financial literacy. It includes e.g. norms of financial literacy, annual percentage rate (APR), inflation, budget etc.
The content of the practical part is based on a survey of a level of financial literacy made at chosen high schools. For the practical part, pupils of the third class of Grammar School and Business Academy Pelhrimov and Secondary School Pelhrimov were anonymously approached. On the basis of the research the ways of improving the level of financial literacy were propound.

Criminality against children and juveniles

The topic of the submitted dissertation work is criminality commited against children and juveniles which is particularly a topical problem for many reasons. First of all it is necessary to emphasize that a child is the most vulnerable victim with his or her decreased ability of defence and therefore children require special protection provided not only by their parents but also by state authorities. For a long period of time there was a general opinion that parents represent the best protection for a child because they love him or her even if they beat or neglect their children. This theory has become a thing of the past thanks to the results or researchs that found that many perpetrators of criminality against children and juveniles were parents of the victimized child or members of his or her family. In 1991 the 3rd European Conference for CAN Prevention was held in Prague (CAN means Child Abuse and Neglect). After this conference a systematic work of Czech social workers, psychologists, police investigators, psysicians and many other experts on this field has started. The submitted dissertation contributes to this systematic work.

Selected aspects of consumer contracts Abstract: This thesis occupies selected aspects of consumer's contracts. It focuses on the phenomenon of commercial terms and conditions, their unilateral changes, the adhesion method of negotiating contracts and related customer protection against the abuse of standardization and simplification of the process of negotiation and conclusion of contract amendments. The second part focuses on the process of concluding a distance contract with a consumer and it discusses the different phases of the process of concluding agreements and the practice of deviation from standard procedures foreseen by law on a practical example of an e-shop. The aim is to evaluate the current legal situation and its development regarding to the transposed European directives and adumbrate the interpretation of certain provisions.

Assignment of Business Receivables under Czech and German Law

The aim of this thesis is to provide detailed analysis of selected legal aspects with practical importance of the assignment of business receivables. Particular topics are focused on problematic legal features of cession, that have so far not been sufficiently elaborated in expert literature, mainly with regards to the impacts of the recent transformation of the Czech civil law. The issues are approached as comparison between the previous law and the current law, which is in force since 1st January 2014, alongside taking account of solutions for chosen issues under German law.

The promise of wealth and the meaning of politics (Hannah Arendt on politics and economics)

This paper focuses on the topic which is not so often reflected - the relation between the political and economical sphere in the thought of Hannah Arendt. This relation is usually considered to be unambiguous, as in the old Greek political thought: the political belongs to the sphere of freedom, the economical, on the contrary, to the sphere of material providing or necessity, and thus there is a substantial, invincible gap between them. The main thesis of this paper is, that the relation between the political and the economical is by no means assessable to the ancient tradition, but it is strongly determined by the general reflection of the civilization tendencies in the modern age and keeps its validity til nowadays. We follow this thesis in two phases and from two different perspectives. In the first part, Arendt's thought is being interpreted "from inside". Through the analysis of her writings, we try to sum up the main characteristics and distinctions of her economical-political thought. We start with the often neglected and never finished, but important work What is politics and continue with three historical moments, which are crucial for understanding of this relation by Arendt: the old Greek political thinking, the modern age with Marx as its prominent thinker and american Fathers as founders of...

The alimentary diseases of pet animals

Thesis is focused on characteristics of disease, that arised due to bad nutrition of animals. In regards of comprehensiveness of chosen topic, the main point of attention was given on cats in unity of stated aim and methods of the thesis.
The introduction is based on specifying of main terms and following the resolution of external enviroment factors such as stabling, hygiene of cat breeding and their nutrition since birth. Mainly no literature does not state the right structure of feed dose in detail, we can only work with estimated data. Our effort has been using the scientific literature to choose the generalizing opinions about optimal compounds of feed, nutrition value and feed proper or improper for domestic cats.
The most important part of the thesis is diseases caused by malnutrition of cats. Basic problems connected with feed intake are reluctance, vommiting, diarrhoea, constipation and tooth caries. Next part is based on obesity that is severe metabolic defect and causes other relevant malformations. Following part is about nutrition allergies and intolerance problems.
Finally, in the end of this work there are said inherent problems caused by lack of some feed components causing troubles with fur and skeleton.
Health problems or disorders associated with food are first characterized and further described their causes, treatment and prevention. The treatment can be done by the breeder in some ways; in more difficult cases is necessarry to ask the Veterinarian who sets individual treatment plan.

Significant factors for the development of Kladno region

This bachelor thesis deals with development factors in Kladno region and possibilities for further development in this region. I chose this region because I live and work there. I also think that the history of Kladno region still influences the region in its development. In the introduction part there is characteristics of this area and its history. In next part there are defined development factors such as population and housing, economics and labour trade, infrastructure and civic amenities, tourism and environment. Description of these factors is combined with examples of development activities, which are offered in Kladno region, and also with facts from the Czech statistics office. After this it continues with next part about sociological research of the inhabitants of Kladno. Questionnaire was used to collect these information. The results of the research are graphically processed and completed with relevant text. Then the SWOT analysis is made. The result of the SWOT analysis and also the aim of this thesis is to evaluate particular development factors of Kladno region in the fields of population, housing, economics, labour trade, infrastructure, civics amenities, tourism and environment, considering strategy of sustainable development of Statutory City Kladno from year 2007. In the end the important priorities, which the region should follow, are emphasised altogether with proposals for future development of this region.
