Student with Special Needs in a Classroom - A Social Relationships View

The bachelor thesis is focused on a student with special needs in classroom. The theoretical part is devoted to the key concepts of my work: student with special needs and a classroom. I deal with the progress of a young schoolchild, classroom as a social group, diagnostics of classroom and students with special needs in connection with the current legislation and support methods they deserve. The aim of my work is to find out what is the social position of students with special needs within the classroom. So, in the empirical part I first searched the social position of students with special needs within the classroom, namely in two fourth grade classrooms, which includes one or more students with special needs. The research was performed at two different schools. For this purpose, I used Braun's questionnaire B-3. Then I made a semi-structured interview with class teachers. In interpreting the data, I focused on whether the social position of students with special needs differs significantly from the social position of other students in the classroom and what factors may cause it. Nursery school class as a social group

This bachelor thesis is focused on a class from a kindergarten and its function as a social group. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals mainly with subjects connected with socialization and its aspects like social groups, standards, communication and attitudes. Other parts of this section describe characteristics of preschool children's development. The last chapter defines the socialization in connection with preschool education. The practical part is realised by an observation of the class in one unnamed kindergarten, summarizes all information about roles, relationships and standards in this class and according to this information evaluates its function as a regular social group.
The Fellowship of the Ring as a social group

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the work of John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings. Its aim is to analyse the Fellowship of the Ring as a social group. The first part of the thesis describes the terms and definitions connected with the concept of social group. The following three parts focus on the Fellowship itself, starting with the descriptions of the races that constitute the Fellowship. Then the individual nine members are characterized and compared to their races. Finally, the evolution of the individual members of the Fellowship is analysed, as well as the entire Fellowship based on the theory of social groups depicted in the first part of the thesis.
Class climate

The diploma thesis "The Class Climate" has a theoretical-empirical character. The main aim of this thesis focuses on measuring and comparing the classroom climete of standard and alternative schools.The introductory part comprises definitions of basic terms such as social group, school environment, atmosphere, climate. Furthermore, it investigates the theoretical clarification of the classroom climate and details the elements, types and actors of the climate. The thesis also closely notes the research methods of the classroom climete measuring. The author concludes the theoretical part with description of the issue of alternative schools. The practical part implementes through questionnaire survey with a participation of pupils from standard and alternative primary schools. There has been defined the aim, assumptions and selected the method of the classroom climate measuring. The conclusion summarizes the results of the questionnaire survey as well as verifies the assumptions.

The theoretical part of thesis Group Conformity and Social Leadership Group focused on the topics such as social groups, their typology, social behaviour, group structure, cohesion and conformity. In the practical part is analysed specific social group (The association of historical fencing Vyděděnci). The main goal of this thesis is examining of members conformity, their expectation from formal roles and satisfaction with the leadership group.
Classroom Climate

The Master thesis depicts a social climate in a classroom in Liberec region. The thesis is divided into two larger topic parts - theoretical part where basic terminology connected to the topic is explained and practical part. Theoretical findings introduce issues of classroom climate which partially originates from a larger superior topic of a school climate. The aim of the first part is to introduce each involved party that influences classroom climate daily and engages in measuring the climate. It answers why is important to watch and measure this phenomenon at school. The second part of the thesis describes practical usage of findings from the theoretical part. It deals with a quality research and comparison of results at selected primary schools in Liberec region. It examines differences which appear in a particular classroom in relation to school culture. Research results serve to realization of classroom climate at each school. The research was led in the sixth grades of each school and standardised questionnaire was used to measure the classroom climate MCI. Structure and Research of Out-Of-School Influences on the Musical Development of the Child

The Diploma Thesis deals with the matters of children's musicality and the main factors influencing it. The thesis includes a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the musicality issue and its structure, as well as on the factors that participate in this matter. Special attention is put to the out-of-school influences on the development of musicality. There is an outline of the influence of a family and its members, characteristics of a contemporary family and a present-day lifestyle. The thesis also deals with a social group influence and the impact of mass media, such as television, computers and the Internet. One of the subchapters is dedicated to the out-of-school artistic interests of children; another one deals with how music around us can act in a form of commercials, or in a store, for example. The practical part of this thesis is formed through a research oriented to the out-of-school influences mentioned above. This research was held at Libčická Primary School, Prague. Culinary identity - are we, what we eat?

The thesis presents a view on a group of amateur chefs - the culinary experts- for whom the cooking has become an essential part of their identity. On the basis of the analysis of semistructured interviews and the participating observation the author studies the tricks of creating of identity of the culinary experts and their life-style. Present day liquid modernity and hyper-consumerist society in a way offers the space for paying attention to oneself and for building an own life project. The culinary art has become for some individuals very important hobby, not only because of the fact that through it they can give pleasure to their bodies, but it can also improve their social status. The text shows that the culinary art brings to amateur chefs the possibility to dedicate their life to cooking, regardless the social stratification or economical class they come from. On the other hand, there is a distinctive dimension which shows that merely the consumption of fine food does not make a fine food eater or a fine diner. The group of the culinary experts is building an exceptional social status though distinctive tricks of consumption of so called "good food".
