Methods: Thesis have two main parts which are the theoretical part that describe the ACL injury and ACL reconstruction, the other part is according to my knowledge which based on my studies in FTVS I did the examinations that patient need to understand the patient clinical picture then putting the therapy plan and treat according to the complications or deformities that found during the examinations, all based on FTVS studies. Patient will follow the therapy sessions schedule then evaluation of the changes in the end with the conclusion. Results: satisfying improvements after 8 sessions therapy that improve the knee joint stability with improvement of muscle strength, symmetry of the muscle tone, release the joint play, eliminate the pain that patient complain of, improve the ROM of knee also improve the confidence of knee joint this leads to correct gait pattern which patient need most and achieved. Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after Supraspinatus Tendon Rupture Surgery Aims: The main aim of the bachelor's thesis is to provide a case study of physiotherapeutic treatment for a patient after arthroscopic surgery of the right shoulder joint for rupture of the supraspinatus tendon and evaluation of the effect of the therapy. Methods: This bachelor's thesis was completed on the basis of continuous professional practice in MediCentrum Praha under the guidance of Mgr. Andrea Slukova. The practical part was taken there between 29.1. - 19.2.2021. An initial kinesiological analysis was prepared, a short-term and long-term plan was determined and a final kinesiological analysis was written to evaluate effect of the therapy. The patient completed nine therapeutic units over the period of three weeks, each lasting 30 minutes. Examination and therapeutic methods within the scope of bachelor's studies were applied in the case study. Results: The therapy which the patient undertook had a positive effect proven by the final kinesiological analysis confirming improvement of her health. The most significant changes were achieved within the range of motion in the shoulder joint into flexion and abduction followed by significant reduction in pain. Key words: case study,...

Author: Bc. Veronika Valášková Title of thesis: Physiotherapy after cervical spine surgery - literature research. Aims: The aim of my diploma thesis is to give an overview of physiotherapeutic care after cervical intervertebral disc herniation surgery. Methods: The diploma thesis is processed as a research of literacy sources. Fifteen studies were selected that met the required study selection criteria. All studies focused on postoperative physiotherapy in patients after cervical spine surgery by the anterior approach. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, deals with anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics of the cervical spine, surgical techniques and subsequent complications that may occur after surgery. The second part is the methodology itself, which processes the available information about postoperative physiotherapy. Results: The results of the diploma thesis show that in the early phase after the operation, active exercise in the shoulder joints, respiratory physiotherapy, strengthening the deep flexors of the cervical spine are most recommended. In the long term, emphasis is placed on strengthening the muscles of the cervical spine, increasing the stability of the cervical spine and increasing the overall condition. Importance of enzymatic solutions (Enzymel) in postoperative treatment of upper respiratory tract wounds
Šimurdová, Marcela ; Tomová, Šárka (advisor) ; Nikodemová, Hana (referee)
Bakalářská práce Význam Enzymelu v pooperačním ošetřování ran v horních cestách dýchacích 1 Abstract Healing surgical wounds in upper respiratory tract is often difficult and painful due to constant presence of food (contamination), movements during talking and continuous presence of aggressive saliva. Most of the surgery clinics use natural solutions especially chamomile to accelerate healing and to remove patient's postoperative problems. Gel Enzymel parodont, which contains proteolytic enzymes and its application limits bacteria production and accelerates healing of the surgical wounds, hasn't been used in a clinical treatment in surgical ORL yet and its effects on healing haven't been studied. The theoretical part of this study is focused on a brief introduction of selected surgical procedures in upper respiratory tract and the corresponding nursing process including a summary of possible complications in the postoperative period. The empirical part of the thesis contains a summary of the results of non-standardized questionnaire survey, which was conducted on selected patients of the ORL (ENT) Clinic of Motol University Hospital. Using a surrogate survey of a selected group of patients (80 in total), data were obtained to compare the effectiveness of the investigated agents, especially in the area of...
Clinical and genetic predictors of drug dependency in inflammatory bowel disease
Ďuricová, Dana ; Lukáš, Milan (advisor) ; Keil, Radan (referee) ; Špičák, Julius (referee)
IN ENGLISH Drug dependency in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC), is a specific disease phenotype which determines disease prognosis and hence may be used as a prognostic marker for treatment management. Drug dependency in IBD has been well described in corticosteroid treatment and recently also in infliximab (IFX) therapy. The aims of this thesis were: 1) to assess the occurrence of IFX dependency in paediatric and adult patients with CD; further to search for clinical and genetic predictors of IFX outcome and to evaluate the impact of IFX dependency on surgical rate; 2) to assess in CD patients the outcome of the first course of 5-ASA monotherapy with emphasis on 5-ASA dependency and to define clinical predictors of 5-ASA treatment outcome. We found that 66% of children and 29% of adults with CD became IFX dependent. The high frequency in paediatrics is in agreement with previously published studies, while the finding in adult patients indicates a lower rate of IFX dependency in the only study to date. Perianal disease and no bowel surgery prior to IFX start were predicative of IFX dependency in paediatric patients. In adult cohort, 2 genetic variants LTA c.207 A>G and CASP9 c.93 C>T were associated with IFX outcome, whereas no relevant clinical...
