Implementace koncepce Smart City ve vybraném regionu/obci

The bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of the Smart City concept in Moravský Krumlov. The main goal of the thesis is to analyze the level of implementation of the Smart City concept in Moravský Krumlov and, based on this analysis, identify possibilities for further development. The theoretical part characterizes individual areas of the concept, terms that are inherently associated with inteligent cities, and the topic of implementing smart cities in the Czech Republic. The practical part includes an analysis of the current level of implementation of the Smart City concept projects in Moravský Krumlov. Based on the results, possibilities for further development were proposed with regard to the city's development strategy.
Problems related with input of information technology into education

The subject of this dissertation is area of information and communication technology for social, communicative and cognitive ability of learners and subsequent negative consequences in the process of education. The aim is to identify and analyze problems in the field of education and their connection with the use of information and communication technologies. The thesis involves information from research, which is focused on effects of Information and communication technology on children's psyche and the negative impacts this action in education at the elementary school. To meet the objectives of this dissertation were used theoretical and empirical research methods. The content of theoretical research methods was the study and analysis of literature, articles and especially analysis of scientific literature professionally primary information sources of research studies and experiments. In the field of empirical research methods were used in the thesis questionnaire survey in the realm of community teachers. The conclusion contains the results of exploratory research methods, conclusions and recommended proposals for the area of education and teaching practice.
Virtual reality – technology of the future

Tato práce popisuje současný stav virtuální reality, její komponenty, vybavení a uplatnění této technologie v různých oblastech, jako je vzdělávání, zdravotnictví a ozbrojené síly. Zahrnuta je stručná historie a zároveň je diskutován budoucí vývoj s možnými souvisejícími riziky. Praktická část se zabývá možnými vlivy virtuální reality na uživatele a to z hlediska imerze a zdravotního stavu.
Construct a methodology for creating a digital lecturer platform

This thesis is devoted to mapping and analysing the current situation of digital lecturer platforms in the Czech Republic and the rules for lectures that educate adults. It offers a brief insight into the subject of adult education, mentions the current legislative situation about adult education in the Czech Republic, offers a concise example of embedding adult education in the entire educational system in Norway, deals with the creation and use of information and communication technologies in education and, above all, the personality of the adult educator. The introductory parts of the thesis provide an overview of the things that are related to adult education and somehow influence it, which leads to an awareness of the complexity and overall difficulty of preparing, implementing, and evaluating such an event. The methodology defines the place where the client could choose a lecturer for the education event. The platform offers a place to search for educational courses, evaluate quality, enter a request for and personalised event, or request a development plan. The role of the teaching assistant in distance learning

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out what functions teaching assistants facilitated during distance learning. The thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part is based on the contemporary literature and focuses on two key concepts required for it - the teaching assistant and the distance learning. The first chapter is devoted to a subject of the teaching assistant and focuses on the historical development of this profession in the Czech republic, the teaching assistant in inclusive education, his/her prerequisites and the scope of work. The end of the first chapter is dedicated to cooperation and communication of the teaching assistant with teachers and legal representatives of pupils with special educational needs. The second chapter of the theoretical part is focused on distance learning, its historical development, specifics and e-learning. The end of this chapter and the entire theoretical part addresses the distance learning as a phenomenon of the Coronavirus period. The practical part is based on a quantitative research, which uses a method of questioning. The aim of the practical part is to identify different roles and activities of the teaching assistants during the distance learning.
Online Databases for Seniors

This paper is about finding possible usage of online databases in normal life of seniors. This paper is specifically focusing on possible data, that would seniors save into online databases and which online database seniors like the most. This paper is also mapping the relationship that seniors have towards information and communications technology. The paper consists of theoretical and practical part. Themes such as informational technology, computer literacy, senior and social age are described in the theoretical part. The paper also deals with the current situation of seniors that are living in Czech Republic in the theoretical part. The main research goals, and related partial goals are determined in the introduction of the practical part. Used research methods and techniques are also described here. Quantitative methods were used for the cause of this paper. The process of comparing online databases is also a part of the paper. The end of the research part of the paper is devoted to interpretation of gathered data and comparing them to the hypotheses. Main research goals of the paper are to find out which data would seniors keep in online databases and which online databases they like the most. The last chapter of this paper is devoted to answering those questions.
Education of people with mental disabilities in the field of information and communication technologies

Pupils with mental disabilities use modern technologies not only in the subject of Information and Communication Technologies but also in other subjects. If information and communication technologies are appropriately involved in the educational process, they can help to provide effective teaching and integration into social life (Zikl et. al., 2011). The Bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part and appendices. The theoretical part consists of two chapters. The first chapter contains a definition of the concept of mental disability and mental retardation, classification of mental disability, characteristics of individual stages of mental disability and specific peculiarities of children with mental disabilities. In the second chapter I focus on modern technologies used in education, on special hardware and software end and at the end chapter I deal with the use of information and communication technologies for children in all stages of mental disabilities. The practical part of the Bachelor's thesis is done in the form qualitative research and in the form of interviews and their subsequent analysis. The research group included people with mental disabilities and teacher. The objective of the thesis is to find out how people with mental disabilities access ICT and how they work with them. In accordance with the defined objective,the following research questions were formulated: VO1: "What kind of approach do people with a mental disabilities have to information and communication technologies?" VO2: "How people with a mental disabilities approach information and communication technologies.What strategies and approaches do people with a mental handicap use?"VO3: "Which information and communication technologies do people with a mental disabilities use? The following factors emerged from the qualitative analysis: availability of modern technologies, degree of disability, a different view, communication, entertainment, the means of education, the time spent on the computer, the check, development of mental processes, formation of social relationships, individual approach, the search, the Subject of Information and Communication Technologies, computer mouse, keyboard, printer, mobile phone, tablet, interactive whiteboard, Youtube, WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook, Google Chrome, painting, writing, Microsoft Word The Bachelor thesis will be used as material for students, staff or parents.
The use of information technologies in preschool children from the perspective of kindergarten teachers

The final work entitled "The use of information technology in preschool children from the perspective of kindergarten teachers" deals with information technologies used by preschool children, how they work with them and how their use is reflected in preschool education. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis contains chapters on the development and history of information and communication technologies, the impact of information technology on children and youth, the risks and benefits of using information technology. In the practical part, based on mixed research (observation, questionnaire survey and interviews with kindergarten teachers), research questions related to the goal of the bachelor's thesis are answered.
Digital divides in aspect of gender

This diploma thesis Digital gender gap deals with the issue of the digital divide in connection with one of the aspect that can affect it. The thesis outlines the concept of the digital divide as a problem of modern globalized society and presents the basic theories for understanding the issue. The digital divide is related to several social factors that are outlined in this work, but the main focus is on the gender aspect. Even in the modern world, it is not possible to completely close the gap in this context just yet. Thus, the characteristics of the problem in connection with the gender factor are outlined. Today, rather than the problem of the primary digital divide, it is the problem of unequal skills and the way in which information and communication technologies are used in our society is being talked about. After defining the basic concepts and this phenomenon, the work presents several foreign studies to create a comprehensive overview of the issue and also data from the Český statistický úřad are presented. The second part of this work is a methodological part, which was inspired by foreign study from 2014, which monitors the digital literacy of respondents. The thesis includes an analysis of the current state of the company. The shortages arising from analytical part are solved in the last part of the thesis as a proposal for changes that will lead to the improvement of the present situation.
