Comparison of communication technologies and selection of effective protocol for access of IoT device to the back-end server using the Java platform
Gryc, Václav ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Šeda, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on comparing two ways of communicating with a web service. The first way to communicate is using SOAP. The second way uses the REST architecture, creating a RESTful web service. Both ways are theoretically described in the thesis. The main benefit of this work for devices with reduced connectivity is the finding that communication with REST API is more appropriate.
E-Learning System Based on Modern JAVA Technologies
Sechovec, Petr ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Rogalewicz, Adam (advisor)
Main goal of this thesis is to analyze the current community and language learning systems and based on this analysis, to create a complex learning system. The system is implemented by modern J2EE technologies such as wickets and OR mapping. The final J2EE application is portable and easy to install on free Apache Tomcat application server or paid SUN application server. System was deployed on public FIT VUT server and tested by a sample of 60 students. Results and review of testing are at the end of this thesis.
Remote API Web Reference for Java Enterprise Applications
Krpec, Ondřej ; Turoňová, Lenka (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
Tato diplomová práce popisuje testování REST API rozhraní aplikací. Výsledkem práce je aplikace Restty, založená na použití nástroje Swagger, která umožňuje testovat jednotlivé části API aplikací, i vytvářet a spouštět komplexní testovací scénáře nad daným rozhraním. Teoretická část práce vysvětluje principy webových služeb, vzdálených rozhraní a představuje nástroj Swagger i technologie použité k implementaci.
Information System for Monitoring of a Presence State from Multiple Points
Ryšavý, Libor ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the problem of monitoring of a presence state from multiple points. It begins with analysis of presence information propagation in various systems and also with multiple points of presence in general terms. After that follows requirements analysis and design of information system which will evaluate presence information from multiple sources with various features and than display it graphically on plans or maps. At the conclusion there is described implementation and testing of developed information system.
Web interface for sensor network monitoring
Vajsar, Pavel ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Morávek, Patrik (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and create an application that will allow monitoring of wireless sensor networks. The basis of the project is to design a database that is capable of storing data acquired from wireless sensor networks. The main requirement for the design is versatility, which flows from the requirement to use the database for broad range of applications implementing wireless sensor networks. The application itself is designed to be the most versatile and modular, which means that modules provide specific monitoring services. The application is able to monitor the real wireless sensor network through designed and implemented connector. For implementation J2EE (server side) and Adobe Flex/Air (client side) technologies are used.
Modern J2EE Development Frameworks
Ondrušek, Libor ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor thesis should be a simple way to show the usefulness of modern technologies for the development process of advanced enterprise applications. This work wants to introduce simple using of this technologies in practical example. The kernel of this work is theoretical analysis of Java technology, especially development frameworks like Spring and Hibernate. The theoretical part is illustrated by practical implementation.
Multilanguage Invoice System of Small Company
Bondra, Ivan ; Stryka, Lukáš (referee) ; Jaša, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement multilanguage invoice system of small company or small trader. This documentation describes the various technologies used in developing this system and a large part of the document is devoted to analysis, design and implementation of the solution.
Application for Exam Preparation
Líbal, Tomáš ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of preparation of final exams at the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology. It describes the process of design and implementation of a web application that allows teachers to create and manage room schemes and terms of individual exams. An important part of the application is also the automatic placement of students in the rooms and the generation of individual exam assignments for printing based on the given template and the method of placement. The application provides students with a clear view of individual exam terms and details about them. The work will result in a functional and usable web application written in Java using the Spring and Angular frameworks.
Implementation of a Service for Processing Diagnostic Data From a Car
Szymutko, Jaromír ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee) ; Šeda, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on the development of a web application designed for gathering and processing diagnostic and informative data from a vehicle. The backend was developed in Java with the support of the Spring framework. This part of the application contains all the application logic and provides a connection to the database. The frontend was developed as HTML templates with CSS style sheets. Dynamic elements were implemented as JavaScript scripts. The application supports user registration, user login, registration of the vehicle, and adding information to the user's profile. It also presents diagnostic and informative data from the vehicle in a user-friendly way by using tables and plots.
