Qualitative analysis of cooperation of back court player and line player on the 9th Men's European Championship in Brno

Title: Qualitative analysis of cooperation of back court player and line player on the 9th Men's "18" European Championship in Brno. Objectives: Qualitative analysis of the attacking combinations between back court player and line player on the 9th Men's "18" European Championship 2008 in Brno, finding out the space distribution of these combinations and compare the trend analysis of Men's "18", Men's "20" and Men's European Championship. Methods: Qualitative Analysis of the matches on DVD with using non participating and non structured observing connected with quantitative analysis based on the statistical program Handball Stat. We used own form for recording the observed data. Results: The teams used combination based on passing mostly. The distribution of co-operation probably depended on physical, technical and tactical preparation of the back court players and through that the line player very often co-operated with left and middle back. This bachelor thesis considers handball, Czech handball and the differences between these sports. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part lists the basic information about handball and Czech handball, states the important historic facts, and describes the rules and the main contrast between these sports. The practical part focuses on the interpretation of the data acquired by a quantitative research which was aimed at the respondent's knowledge about handball and Czech handball. Title: The effectivity of handball skills in selected secondary schools in Prague Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to assess the level of handball skills at schools in Prague. To compare the effectivity of teaching the author has chosen a school where Handball is thought regularly and a school where it is taught at irregular intervals of time. Methods: The thesis is based on qualitative methods, where observation was used to obtain the results. The final points are obtained via the numeric scales which contain the verbal characteristics. Results: It was found that the classes in which handball is taught regularly are more likely to acquire the necessary skills. Title: Marketing communication of HC Talent Plzeň Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose new measures to improve the marketing communication of the handball club Talent Plzeň based on an analysis of the current marketing communication with club fans. The partial aim of the thesis is to define, based on interviews and collected information, strengths and weaknesses in the club's marketing communication. Methods: Methods of qualitative nature were used in this thesis. The methods include an analysis of relevant documents, billboards, posters, websites, etc., observations and semi-structured interviews with one of the co- owners and the manager of the club and the selected spectators of the matches. Results: The analysis of the current marketing communication with the fans of HC Talent Plzeň revealed some strengths and weaknesses. On their basis a proposal of the marketing communication for the season 2015/2016 has been created. The result of this bachelor thesis is the proposal based on the real possibilities of the club, current trends in modern sport marketing and events in the society. The effect of the place of the match on the shooting success in handball.

Title: The effect of the place of the match on the shooting success in handball. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to find out whether the place where the match is taking place affects the shooting success from individual player areas, and also the overall shooting success of the selected team. Another objective was to find out whether the place has got an effect on the result of the match. Methods: For data collection we used the methods of direct observation, indirect observation and analytical method in our work. The results were processed using the Mann Whitney test, Wilcoxon test and Mc Nemar test. Results: We found out that the place at which the match is taking place does not affect the overall percentage success rate of shooting of the selected team. Also it was not statistically proved, that the place affects the percentage success rate of shooting even from one of the basic areas of player functions for the attack. Advertising and promotion in handball competition

This bachelors thesis deals with advertising and promotion in the handball competitions. The thesis aim is to describe current status of utilization of advertising and promotion in the handball competitions by using observational research and documents analysis and after that changes will be recommended. In the theoretical section the thesis describes the basic concepts of marketing, marketing mix and promotional mix. Then the thesis looks at individual promotional mix elements, especialy on advertising and sales promotion, and their possible use in sport. In the practical section the thesis focuses on organization of handball competitions in Czech republic the analysis of chosen teams and their sport halls is made. In the next part of practical section are analysed individual tools of advertising and sales promotin with regard to the results of the research. At the end of the practical section the results are reviewed and the changes and recommendations are made. Evaluation of the most frequent injuries in competition of league MOL and the 2nd league in women handball in Czech republic

Title: Evaluation of the most frequent injuries in competition of league MOL and the 2nd league in women handbal in Czech republic. Objectives: The main objective in this work is evaluation of the most frequent injuries in women handball players, who play in season 2017/2018 the highest competition in Czech Republic - league MOL and the 3rd highest competition in Czech Republic - the 2nd league in women handball. The next objective is find out, if the teams have in their training unit the regenerative and compensatory practise, also there is physiotherapist in team or no. Methods: As the method for data pooling, I choose the form of a non-standardized questionnaire. The questionnaire was send between all women handball players in both competition, which are written in objective. Overall is analysed 112 questionnaires. Results: From the results, we can see, that for the most common injuries belongs to ankle. Overall 56,3 % suffered the injury of ankle, then injury of hands (50,9 %) and knees (46,4 %). Smaller group of injuries belongs to the of face, head, shoulders and elbows. Wings and lineplayers has the most common injuries of ankle, on the other hand the middle lineplayers, backs and goalkeepers has the most common injuries of hands and knees. Stabilization training with sensorimotor tool Propriomed in handball.

Title: Stabilization training with sensorimotor tool Propriomed in handball Goal: The aim of our experiment was to evaluate an influence of short-term and long-term exercise with Propriomed on an accuracy of throwing ball in handball with taking speed of throwing into consideration. Methods: It was used an experiment to evaluate changes of throwing accuracy and speed depending on a specific intervention. Concretely interventions were an usual training unit without using Propriomed, an exercise unit with Propriomed and long-term exercising with Propriomed which lasted for a month. Measuring of values was always done before the beginning of training with participation of 11 probands. A radar gun named Stalker was used for measuring of speed throwing. Final values were processed in the programme Dartfish for an analysis of throwing accuracy. Results: Negative effect on throwing accuracy was found in the case of 7 probands because of exercise unit with Propriomed. In the case of 2 probands this intervention led to increase of accuracy and two probands were without an effect. Long-term intervention with Propriomed did not have a positive effect on throwing accuracy either. There was an exception of two probands with increasing accuracy after intervention. Evaluation of the physiotherapy effectiveness in women handball players with an anterior instability of the glenohumeral joint.

Title: Evaluation of the physiotherapy effectiveness in women handball players with an anterior instability of the glenohumeral joint. Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to summarize the anterior instability of the glenohumeral joint knowledge in women handball players. Subsequently to perform and evaluate the effect of the three months long physiotherapy intervention based on proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation by which we wanted to eliminite the anterior instability of the glenohumeral joint. In the last part of the research are compared the results which were reached by the group which did the three months intervention program and the control group without any physiotherapeutical intervention. Methods: The experiment was performed in handball team HC Slavia Praha by women players range in age from 15 -19 years. It was carried out using 3 tests evaluating the instability of the anterior glenohumeral joint, which were evaluated by 2 different physiotherapists and 3 motor tests evaluating the explosive force of the upper limb. Testing was performed twice, before and after the three months long physiotherapeutical intervention. Popularity and attitudes to handball in the Czech Republic

Title: Popularity and attitudes to handball in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out public attitudes to handball and perception of its popularity in the Czech republic. Within this research is also the aim to examine frequency of respondents' contact and awareness about this sport. Methods: Gaining the necessary data for processing the topic is reached by the method of electronic questioning using the questionnaire that has been created strictly for purpose of this work. Processing of theoretical base of this bachelor thesis has been carried out with help of the source study method. Results: Research has found out attitudes of general public in the Czech republic to handball and also perception of its popularity. On the basis of questioning has been discovered main factors influencing popularity of handball and also possible moves, which should serve to its increase.
