The effect of the place of the match on the shooting success in handball.

Title: The effect of the place of the match on the shooting success in handball. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to find out whether the place where the match is taking place affects the shooting success from individual player areas, and also the overall shooting success of the selected team. Another objective was to find out whether the place has got an effect on the result of the match. Methods: For data collection we used the methods of direct observation, indirect observation and analytical method in our work. The results were processed using the Mann Whitney test, Wilcoxon test and Mc Nemar test. Results: We found out that the place at which the match is taking place does not affect the overall percentage success rate of shooting of the selected team. Also it was not statistically proved, that the place affects the percentage success rate of shooting even from one of the basic areas of player functions for the attack. Advertising and promotion in handball competition

This bachelors thesis deals with advertising and promotion in the handball competitions. The thesis aim is to describe current status of utilization of advertising and promotion in the handball competitions by using observational research and documents analysis and after that changes will be recommended. In the theoretical section the thesis describes the basic concepts of marketing, marketing mix and promotional mix. Then the thesis looks at individual promotional mix elements, especialy on advertising and sales promotion, and their possible use in sport. In the practical section the thesis focuses on organization of handball competitions in Czech republic the analysis of chosen teams and their sport halls is made. In the next part of practical section are analysed individual tools of advertising and sales promotin with regard to the results of the research. At the end of the practical section the results are reviewed and the changes and recommendations are made. Evaluation of the most frequent injuries in competition of league MOL and the 2nd league in women handball in Czech republic

Title: Evaluation of the most frequent injuries in competition of league MOL and the 2nd league in women handbal in Czech republic. Objectives: The main objective in this work is evaluation of the most frequent injuries in women handball players, who play in season 2017/2018 the highest competition in Czech Republic - league MOL and the 3rd highest competition in Czech Republic - the 2nd league in women handball. The next objective is find out, if the teams have in their training unit the regenerative and compensatory practise, also there is physiotherapist in team or no. Methods: As the method for data pooling, I choose the form of a non-standardized questionnaire. The questionnaire was send between all women handball players in both competition, which are written in objective. Overall is analysed 112 questionnaires. Results: From the results, we can see, that for the most common injuries belongs to ankle. Overall 56,3 % suffered the injury of ankle, then injury of hands (50,9 %) and knees (46,4 %). Smaller group of injuries belongs to the of face, head, shoulders and elbows. Wings and lineplayers has the most common injuries of ankle, on the other hand the middle lineplayers, backs and goalkeepers has the most common injuries of hands and knees. Stabilization training with sensorimotor tool Propriomed in handball.

Title: Stabilization training with sensorimotor tool Propriomed in handball Goal: The aim of our experiment was to evaluate an influence of short-term and long-term exercise with Propriomed on an accuracy of throwing ball in handball with taking speed of throwing into consideration. Methods: It was used an experiment to evaluate changes of throwing accuracy and speed depending on a specific intervention. Concretely interventions were an usual training unit without using Propriomed, an exercise unit with Propriomed and long-term exercising with Propriomed which lasted for a month. Measuring of values was always done before the beginning of training with participation of 11 probands. A radar gun named Stalker was used for measuring of speed throwing. Final values were processed in the programme Dartfish for an analysis of throwing accuracy. Results: Negative effect on throwing accuracy was found in the case of 7 probands because of exercise unit with Propriomed. In the case of 2 probands this intervention led to increase of accuracy and two probands were without an effect. Long-term intervention with Propriomed did not have a positive effect on throwing accuracy either. There was an exception of two probands with increasing accuracy after intervention. Title: Popularity and attitudes to handball in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out public attitudes to handball and perception of its popularity in the Czech republic. Within this research is also the aim to examine frequency of respondents' contact and awareness about this sport. Methods: Gaining the necessary data for processing the topic is reached by the method of electronic questioning using the questionnaire that has been created strictly for purpose of this work. Processing of theoretical base of this bachelor thesis has been carried out with help of the source study method. Results: Research has found out attitudes of general public in the Czech republic to handball and also perception of its popularity. On the basis of questioning has been discovered main factors influencing popularity of handball and also possible moves, which should serve to its increase. Title: Marketing Communication of Handball Club TJ Sokol Praha Vršovice Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to create a proposal for a new concept of marketing communication for the sports club TJ Sokol Praha Vršovice, focused on one of its main current problems which is the dimension and structure of the members' basement. In connection with that, it was necessary to do marketing research to find out the conditions and actual situation in using current tools of marketing communication by the sports club. Methods: Both methods of analysis, qualitative (interview) and quantitative (written survey), were used. Results: Data acquired from analysis was utilized and summarised in the results section. Analysis of handball coaches' activities in selected area

6 ABSTRACT Title: Analysis of handball coaches' activities in selected area. Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to determine wether the activities of coaches in handball teams, divisions under the Regional North-Moravian Handball Association (OSSH), are in accordance with the recommendations issued by the Czech Handball Federation (CSH). Methods: For the entire research project was chosen the epirically analytical method. With respect to the geografically large area, we considered interrogation method which can be used to collect both quantitative and qualitative research data. All collected data were summarized by entering inno tables and graphs. In the verification of hypotheses the data was evaluated by using basic statistical methods, the arithmetic mean, absolute frequency and relative frequency. Results: The thesis was intended to result in recommendation for coaches' education and development in the mentioned region. With reference to the research results in this thesis the recommendation will not related to impetus for only participation in the trainings. As we found out, the passing of the education and training activities themselves is not a problem. The recommendation will be predominantly related to the change of approach. Title: Professional Competencies of Czech Handball Federation Staff Objectives: The aim of this work is to assemble competence profile of the Czech handball federation employee. Furthermore the goal also is to analyse the importance of perception of this profile's individual components from this institution's employees' point of view. Methods: Gathering of the necessary data for processing the topic is reached via the method of source study in order to create the competence profile. For the questioning was used the method of electronic questionnaire created strictly for the purpose of this work, and also the method of semi-structured interviews. Results: The research has provided and evaluated the list of competencies that are necessary for profession performance within Czech handball federation. Also the key competencies for particular departments of this institution were identified and the structure of this institution was described and examined. Title: The popularity of handball among Prague university students Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out the popularity of handball among the students of Prague universities. The content of the work is following and playing handball. It also focuses on awareness and knowledge of this sport and the general perception of the attractiveness of handball. Methods: Necessary data for this research was collected by the method an electronic questioning. The main instrument of this method was a questionnaire created especially for purpose of the work. The theoretical part was completed by a study of academic literature. Results: The results of research show how handball is popular among students of Prague universities. Research also found out the extent to which they play and watch handball and what they know about it. Influence counting of score on U13 category in the handball competition system of Central Bohemia region

The diploma thesis focused on issues of counting scores in handball matches in the Central Bohemia region, specifically on the system of competition for U13 category. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of the sport, handball, youth sports training, the system of competition of younger students in the Central Bohemia region, sports performance and also marginally deals with attitudes and their formation. The research part is primarily focused on the processing and interpretation of results from a guided interview with experienced coaches of the Central Bohemia Handball Association, where the aim will be to determine the main purpose for removing the public score indicator from e U13 category competition system. Furthermore, the work is devoted to the interpretation of results based on questionnaires for players, parents and coaches who have dealt with the issue and preferences of the system of competition for younger players in the Central Bohemia region.
