Šťastná, Hana ; Svobodová, Irena (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
The work was reflecting the effect of basic swimming training and the water environment on the fine motor skills of the upper limbs in a group of pupils with specific learning disabilities. Part of the work is a comparison with a group of pupils of the same age with specific learning disabilities without said swimming training. The main goal of the work is to observe a group of pupils from a Prague based private elementary school with focus on education of children with specific learning disabilities and evaluation of potential changes in fine motor skills of the upper limbs. The selected group of pupils consisted of children diagnosed with one or more specific learning disability, such as developmental dysphasia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, ADHD syndrome and Asperger's syndrome in ages 8 to 10. The training was a mandatory basic swimming training in third grade and happened during the school year 2018/2019 with total of 15 participants. Input testing for fine motor skills and test of level of swimming abilities were organised in the beginning of the training. Output testing was organised in February of 2019 after completion of 20 hours of swimming training. This was then compared to level of fine motor skills of a group of pupils of same age without basic swimming training. Key words swimming...

Occurrence of sensomotoric disorders in children with hearing impairment
Fiedlerová, Kateřina ; Vařeková, Jitka (advisor) ; Prokešová, Eva (referee)
Title: Occurrence of coordination disorders in children with hearing impairment Objectives: The aim of this master thesis was to verify the hypothesis that children with hearing impairment have higher incidence of sensorimotor issues byassessing their motor skills, physical fitness and somatognostic functions. A partial goal was to assess the correlation between the methods used. Methods: The examination group consisted of 73 children (27 girls and 46 boys) with hearing impairment aged 7 to 16 years (mean age 11.9 ± 2.8 years). The mean weight of the children was 47.7 ± 17.4 kg, the mean height was 153 ± 17.5 cm and the average BMI value was 19.7 ± 4.1. Following methods for testing of children with hearing impairment were utilized: the Movemet Assessment Battery for Children - Second Edition (MABC-2) and Unifittest 6-60. Results were evaluated according to Czech standards. All children were also tested for their somatognostic functions according to Kolář. Furthermore, anamnestic data were obtained from parents of 54 children using a non-standardized questionnaire. In the case of 20 children, the assessment was repeated after 3 years. Statistica and Microsoft Excel 2016 were used for data processing. Results: The hypothesis was confirmed, i.e. children with hearing impairment have higher incidence...
Use the MABC - 2 test battery to measure sport motor gymnastics
PLAVCOVÁ, Adéla
The graduation thesis is focused on the evaluation in motoric skills of sports gymnasts (n=18) aged between 7 to 10 years. The whole study took place in České Budějovice in the Merkur center with the support of a gymnastic team. For this experiment was used the methody called "MABC-2 formula" (Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2nd edition). The MABC-2 test is a standardized test that verifies a level of the motor function while indicating motor difficulties and difficulty in coordination. It consists of eight test items that are divided into three components. Individual components focus on testing fine motor skills (manual skill), gross motor skills (aiming and catching) and balance. After performing the MABC-2 test and obtaining gross scores for each item, we created tables and graphs of component and total test scores (TTS). We compared the results to the standardization norms this test battery and with other researches in this field that deal with motor testing using the MABC-2 test battery. At the basis of this comparison, we evaluated the level of motor skills in the tested group of gymnasts. This thesis confirmed that gymnasts achieved in all components above-average results. For evaluation of the gymnasts balance skills the MABC-2 wasn´t sensitive enought.

Purchartová, Dana ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Reckziegelová, Petra (referee)
Title: The Impact of Alcohol Consumption on Gross and Fine Motor Skills of Individuals Objectives of the thesis: The main objective of my thesis is to assess an immediate effect of alcohol on selected tasks from the area of fine and gross motor skills. First identified were the average values for selected tests in sober individuals, and then the values with an increasing level of alcohol in blood. The second objective is to differentiate whether or not are fine and gross motor skills affected upon the same alcohol level in blood. Methods: The required data were obtained on the basis of experimental measurements on 12 probands (6 women and 6 men) who were tested for fine motor skills using three non- standardized tests modified or created for the purpose of this experiment: threading beads on a string, unlocking locks and dropping coins to a moneybox. Gross motor skills were tested using stabilometric platform in a standing position with legs together and with open eyes for 30 seconds. The observed parameter in the fine motor skills test was the time, while in the stability test it was the track of COP; each fine motor skills test was performed three times in each round. In the second and in each subsequent round every proband was administered 0.3 g of alcohol per kg of weight. The total number of...
