The aim of the diploma thesis is to formulate recommendations for a company, that wants to expand into European markets through Amazon. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first one is the theoretical part, where attention is paid to the study of the issue with the help of professional literature and professional articles. The basis of the work consists of the analysis of the external and internal environment. Based on the facts obtained from them, specific recommendations for entering the UK and German market were proposed.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is in using the strategy analysis of the external and internal environment to design strategies that would help improving the develop-ment of the company and the increasing of its competitiveness on the market. The first part of the thesis explains the concepts of strategic management based on professional literature. In the second part of the thesis there is an analysis of the external environment using PESTE analysis and Porter’s five forces model. After this there is enterprise’s internal environment being analysed using Porter’s value chain. The results of these analyses are opportunities, threats, weaknesses and strengths of the company. Only the most significant factors are selected by EFE and IFE matrices. Based on SWOT analysis, singular strategy proposals are developed with recommendations to the Pietro Filipi, s. r. o. company and one of them is economically evaluated.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to propose suitable recommendations for the company Služby města Náměšť nad Oslavou, s. r. o. The analysis of the internal and external environment was based on which the strengths and weaknesses of the company, opportunities and threats are identified. The "7S" model, the PESTE analysis, the SWOT analysis, and a matrix of priorities were used in the processing. It has been found that the use of marketing on social networks is the least expensive recommendation. It is important to create motivated employees. Recommendations should help the company to strengthen its market competitiveness.
