Image data transmission system from UAV
Plaček, Jan ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Janoušek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis explores the processing of image data in the robotic operating system ROS2 for wireless transmission from unmanned aerial vehicles over mobile networks. It focuses on optimizing image data for fast transmission to cloud storage, emphasizing latency minimization and optimal frame rate depending on the environment type. The results of the thesis contribute to the real-time utilization of unmanned aerial vehicles, particularly in the field of robotic vision.
Image Inpainting using Deep Learning
Zobaník, Radek ; Kubík, Tibor (referee) ; Šilling, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis, an application was developed for testing and comparing methods for completing missing parts of an image using deep learning, and two methods were trained, pconv with convolutional architecture, and AOT-GAN with GAN architecture. The thesis describes the design of the finished application, its functionality, and important implementation details. A dataset was selected on which the chosen models were optimally trained. Experiments were made on the AOT-GAN model to investigate the impact of the number of AOT blocks in generator on the resulting completed image. All experiments were qualitatively and quantitatively compared. The results showed respectable outcomes when working with natural scenery.
IEC-104 interface for UniPi Patron PLCs
Rylich, Slávek ; Grenar, David (referee) ; Slavíček, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design, implement and verify a module that will enable the effective integration of the IEC-104 protocol into an existing PLC controller of the UniPi Patron series. The IEC-104 protocol is a standard in the energy and industrial sectors for reliable and high-speed communication between devices. The implementation of this protocol in the UniPi Patron controller expands its capabilities in the area of data collection and real-time information exchange, which contributes to better monitoring and control of industrial processes. The result of the work is a functional module running on the Unipi Patron PLC controller, which enables reliable communication with control SCADA systems through the IEC-104 protocol, thus contributing to the expansion of the capabilities of this control system in industrial applications.
Colour extension of image Fast Point Feature Histogram
Pro vyhodnocení přínosu zahrnutí barevné informace práce prezentuje implementaci ICP a FPFH algoritmů v Pythonu a navrhuje metodologii evaluace registrace mračen. Závěr práce je věnován diskuzi výsledků experimentů, které demonstrují, že použití barevné informace v registraci mračen snižuje počet iterací potřebných ke konvergenci ICP.
Programming tools for robotic workstations for cold metal deposition
Odehnal, Martin ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the development of software for a robotic workstation designed for the rapid preparation of coating the surface of rotating parts using cold spray metal deposition technology. The cold spray workstation is located in the laboratories of the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology. The developed application provides support for the institute's staff in experimental activities in this area. The theoretical part of the thesis aims to provide information to the processes associated with virtual commissioning, programming industrial robots, and the basics of cold spray technology. The practical part addresses the specific implementation of the software application and the integration of an external motor to the robotic controller via the PROFINET communication bus.
Statistical Model Checking of Approximate Computing Systems
Blažek, Michal ; Sekanina, Lukáš (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the simulation of models of approximate multipliers. The main aim of the thesis is comparing selected properties of multipliers in an application-specific scope of input values. The thesis includes the conversion of multiplier models from the EvoApproxLib library into models used in the UPPAAL environment. These models are then simulated while monitoring their selected evaluation metrics such as error probability, mean absolute error, etc. From the obtained results, one can conclude that using a suitable approximate multiplier in a specific context can have a positive effect on the error in calculations. The results could therefore have further applications in the field of approximate computing systems.
Denial of Service detection methods
Horský, Milan ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Sikora, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a methodology for detecting and describing the Denial of Service (DoS) condition on a web server. The aim of the thesis is to develop and implement methods that enable effective detection of DoS attacks in an experimental network. The theoretical part focuses on the analysis of different types of DoS attacks, including their detection on the application server and network side, and discusses possible reasons for false positives. In the practical part, software tools for monitoring and analyzing server and network resources were developed and then tested against different types of DoS attacks. As a result of the work, the proposed methodology has been validated and implemented in an experimental network, which provides useful tools for improving the security and stability of web servers.
Kinematics of a robotic arm
Hekrle, Vojtěch ; Eryganov, Ivan (referee) ; Vašík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on problematic with the forward and inverse kinematics of a robotic arm with three, four and five arms. The conformal geometric algebra CGA2 is used to solve this issue. The outcome of the thesis consists of four algorithms for computing the given kinematics in the Python language. Specifically, one algorithm for forward kinematics and the others algorithms for the inverse kinematics of the robot with three, four and five arms.
Webová aplikace pro správu chytrého tržiště
Marek, Roman ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Bažout, David (advisor)
The main motivation for creating the thesis derives from the already existing project of Ing. David Bazout, which is called the Smart Greenhouse. This project works on the basis of a web application in which individual users choose the conditions in which they want to grow their crops. Within a single community greenhouse, multiple areas are available for customers to rent and then plant their crops. However, a part of the greenhouse area is not available for rent because it is managed by the respective greenhouse manager. This is where the smart marketplace application comes in play. This enables the sale of the products that would go to waste. At the same time, however, it also includes automation of administrator tasks, message exchange between users and other functionality that would make the whole process easier. For implementation it was applied the Django framework, which uses the SQLite database to store the necessary information. For creation of user interface, the React library and its components were used.
Creation of a software application to assess selected company indicators
Mikolaj, Šimon ; Novotná, Veronika (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The focus of this bachelor’s thesis is to create a software application that will serve a specific company for the evaluation of its selected indicators. The introductory theoretical part of the thesis describes financial and statistical analysis, along with the area of data mining. The following part deals with the analysis and evaluation of the current economic situation of the company, based on the results of the application. The final design section focuses on the presentation of the developed application and suggestions for improving the current economic situation of the company.
