Inclusive education with a focus on the pupil with a different mother tongue

The diploma thesis "Inclusive education with a focus on the pupil with a different mother tongue" is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is based on the basis of a professional literary research of the chosen issue, in which the author focuses on the pupil with special educational needs from a different socio-cultural environment, on a pupil with a different mother tongue who is educated at a regular primary school. In the introductory theoretical part, the author deals with migration, multiculturalism and briefly introduces the country, the national minority, where the student with a different language comes from. The author also includes an explanation of the terms such as intercultural identity, communication-language and integration of foreigners to this topic. In the second chapter of the theoretical part of "Inclusive education" of the pupils with specific educational needs, the author focuses on pupils with a different mother tongue. It also presents the relevant legislative documents and introduces terms such as bilingualism, counselling facilities, support measures and defines the personnel position of teaching assistants. Care of patients with permanent indwelling urinary catheters - patient education material

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the topic of ,,Care of patients with permanent indwelling urinary catheters - patient education material''. The thesis consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis was to map out the theoretical and practical knowledge of nursing care in patients with an inserted permanent urinary catheter. Methods: Using the method of a questionnaire survey, we performed research of the foreknowledge of hospitalized patients with an inserted permanent urinary catheter in two hospitals - Motol University Hospital and Na Homolce Hospital. The total amount of respondents from both hospitals was 100. All gethered research was processed through statistical methods and interpreted using graphic charts. Results: From the results of predefined hypotheses, we found out the existence of correlation betwenn the patients awareness and their place of hospitalization. We have discovered if patients were able to manipulate correctly and independently with the urinary bag. Subsequently we performed a comparison between the two hospitals concernig patients awareness about hygienic care, the correct placement of urinary bag when walking, and the adherence to recommended daily water intake. The bachelor thesis will deal with the educational process in the children's bone marrow transplant unit at the Motol University Hospital. The educational process takes place in 4 stages, where both the doctor, psychosocial worker, nurse, as well as the patient and his family participate in the educational process itself. The work will focus on specifying nursing care in this department and education within this educational process, where the nurse herself already participates in educating the patient and his family when the patient is admitted to the transplant unit. The bachelor thesis will be divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part will describe basic concepts in education and educational process in general. Furthermore, there will be a chapter on topics of education specific to bone marrow transplant units. The Relationship between Curator and Educator in Museums of Art

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of relations and cooperation between curators and educators in art galleries. The theoretical part introduces both professions, presents their work activities and qualification and competence requirements. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on a brief overview of the ongoing transformations in exhibition institutions, specifically describing the related new institutionalism and the educational turn. The practical part presents empirical research, the main aim of which is to find out what the collaboration between curators and educators in selected art galleries currently looks like. The data for the research are collected through semi-structured interviews with curators and educators from the galleries; questions are directed at mutual collaboration as well as previous experience, education and work background. The information obtained in the interviews during face-to-face meetings is analysed and interpreted together with information from the websites of the selected galleries. The research shows that all the galleries surveyed offer a variety of active programmes for different target groups, which shows a reflection of the ongoing changes and a certain shift towards an educational turn. The bachelor thesis deals with the inclu sive education of pupils with mild intellectual disabilities at secondary vocational schools. This work is divided into two parts - the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of the concept of intellectual disability, deals with the etiology and classification of intellectual disability, the characteristics of individual degrees of intellectual disability, the education of pupils with intellectual disabilities, and their integration or inclusion. It also describes what the personal educational plan is and looks into the activities of the assistant teacher and his role in helping pupils with intellectual disabilities. The practical part summarizes the results of the research on the issue of education of pupils with intellectual disabilities. The aim was to find out what kind of experience educators have educating pupils with intellectual disabilities, and if they see any advantages and disadvantages in integrating pupils with mild intellectual disabilities at secondary vocational schools. Respondents were teachers from various vocational schools mainly from the South Moravian and Vysočina Regions. Quantitative methodology was used for research. The aim was to describe the examined reality using subsequently processed data. Based on the data found, a set of measures (suggestions, recommendations) was subsequently drawn up on how to improve the inclusive education of pupils with intellectual disabilities.

This Bachelor's thesis entitled EDUCATION OF STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS was prepared as part of the Bachelor's degree programme. The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of EDUCATION OF PUPILS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS (hereinafter referred to as SEN). The theoretical part deals with the characteristics and categorization of children, pupils and students with SEN, the Czech educational system and legislation. Furthermore, the procedures and methods used in the education of pupils with SEN are generally summarised. In the practical part, based on a questionnaire survey, I developed an overview of what means and methods are most often used in educating students at secondary school from the perspective of educators.
The possibilities of use of a psychologist in prenatal psychoprophylactic care

The diploma thesis focuses on the possibilities of a psychologist in the process of psychoprophylactic care of the mother, or both expectant parents. The theoretical part is trying to define the term psychoprophylactic antenatal care and map the situation in terms of the important personalities in the field of antenatal psychoprophylactic care and in terms of its historical context. Furthermore, it attempts to define the tasks of antenatal psychoprophylactic care, introduce the structure of courses, and map the current situation in this field in the Czech Republic. The research project conducted examines the importance of the psychologist's role during the pregnancy of an expectant mother and in the field of the antenatal care for the foetus in a qualitative manner. It investigates both the needs and attitudes of pregnant women, especially in the third trimester, and experienced psychologists, concerned in the area by the selected method of the semi-structured interview.

Bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of risky behavior on the internet with a focus on social networks. The aim of the thesis is to present the risks that children and adolescents are exposed to in today's time. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis describes social networks, explains the basic risks of the online world and focuses on prevention in this area. In the practical part, a quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire survey is conducted with a goal of finding out if education, primarily from parents or school, has a positive impact on the prevention of problematic online behavior.
Educational potential of the collection of ancient plaster casts at Duchcov Chateau

The diploma thesis focuses on the educational potential of the collection of plaster casts of ancient sculpture, which is exhibited at the chateau Duchcov in an exhibition entitled Enchanted by Antiquity. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the introduction and history of the collection of plaster casts of ancient sculpture belonging to the Institute of Classical Archaeology of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and its selected parallels abroad. In this part of the thesis the educational programs and events in these foreign institutions are also discussed. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the current state of education for the exhibition Enchanted by Antiquity and mainly to the analysis of the educational potential of this exhibition. It also includes a practical part devoted to the preparation, realization and evaluation of the pilot educational program entitled On Mount Olympus. Following the tracks of Greek myths and legends, which is intended for the 2nd grade of elementary school. Specifically, it focuses on the education of first-time mothers about breastfeeding, which plays an irreplaceable role in the subsequent course of breastfeeding and the quality of nutrition of the breastfed child. The work is conceived as theoretical - practical. The aim of the theoretical part is to introduce the issue of breastfeeding. It introduces the anatomy of the female breast, the physiology of lactation and the composition of breast milk. It also describes the importance and benefits of breastfeeding, the correct breastfeeding technique and mentions common complications associated with breastfeeding and their solutions. Last but not least, it describes the role of the midwife in caring for a breastfeeding woman, the importance and forms of educating women about breastfeeding and points to the breastfeeding support system in the world. In the practical part, the aim is to map the interest of first-time mothers in lactation counseling services and to find out their satisfaction with the services provided.
