Information System for a Small Farmer

The aim of the thesis was to design and create a web information system for a small farmer, which will be later used on a real farm. The core of the whole system is the OLAP analysis of incomes and expenses, which is based on the works done on fields, purchased materials and sold products. For implementation were chosen PHP, Nette - the Czech framework and MySQL database.

Theme of this master’s thesis is design of software support for business intelligence. Design is realized in cooperation with corporation ZZN Pelhřimov a.s. Introduction is focused on theoretical description of business intelligence and datamining and also on development environment in which is project designed. Corporation is characterised also in introduction. Main part contains data collecting and definition of individual modules. In conclusion of this thesis will be several types of analysis from collected data and then according to these analysis, we can draw measures to improve current state of corporation.
OLAP Analysis of Big Data

The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is the creation of three OLAP data cubes, which will solve the problem of foreign trips of students and employees of BUT. The primary purpose of data cubes is to quickly provide correct data for BUT analysts. SAP Business Warehouse software is used for their modeling and implementation, and SAP Analysis for Microsoft Excel software is used for testing. After successful design, implementation and testing, BUT has these three OLAP data cubes on the production and development servers of SAP Business Warehouse, to which BUT analysts have access. Thanks to this work and data cubes focused on foreign trips, analysts and BUT employees in managerial roles have the opportunity to quickly access data and analyzes that serve to support correct decisions related to the functioning of BUT.
Design of Management Reporting for a Small Enterprise Using Business Intelligence Tools

The diploma thesis deals with the implementation of Business Intelligence software in the company. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part contains the theoretical background for the practical part. It describes the importance of analytical applications for management, business intelligence and its individual components and some methods of risk and project management. In the second part the current reporting process of the company is analyzed. The last part of the thesis describes the development and subsequent implementation of the software itself.
System for Acquisition and Analysis of Real Estate Data from WWW

This project is focused on designing a system for automatic extraction of real estate data from real estate servers. In the theoretical part, this work is first placed in the context of data engineering. Subsequently, the used technologies and system components that were used in the project are described, same as their importance within the framework of the created platform intended for real estate investors for the purpose of renting them. The work also includes an evaluation of the basic methods used to predict the rent amount, which is used to calculate the return of investment.
Data Warehouse Design for Specific Subject

The subject of the bachelor thesis is to design and create a data warehouse for a startup operating in the gaming industry. The data warehouse will be designed for a newly developed mobile game. The main parts of the thesis include both theoretical and practical design of the data warehouse according to specific company requirements. Its functionality will be subsequently tested using reporting and visualization tools.
Design and Implementation of an OLAP Data Cube

This diploma thesis deals with the creation of a data OLAP cube for the purpose of analyzing big data. The process is shown when creating a cube containing data from the university's admissions process (specifically Brno University of Technology). The data is processed by the commercial tool Business Warehouse from the German company SAP, the cube visualization itself takes place in the program Excel using the Analysis extension. The result of this work is an OLAP cube, which can be used to create analyses of the university's admission procedure and obtain data to fill in the relevant section of the annual activity report.
Integration, Visualization, and Mining from Data of World Countries

This thesis explores the utilization of open data about countries around the world, particularly data in the areas of progress and quality of life. The goal was to design and implement a web application to present this data and further use the data for data mining. The integration and processing of data from open data sources were accomplished using the Apache Airflow platform. The Python framework FastAPI was used to create the API and the JavaScript library ReactJS was used to implement the web application. In the application, the indicators are categorized. Each of them can be displayed for different groups of countries, for different time periods, and in several visualizations. From the domain of data mining, clustering of countries based on a group of indicators and prediction of future development of selected indicators using regression analysis was performed. The final application is available at jakjsmenatom.cz.
Information System for Management of Company Employees

Purpose of this thesis is to help companies in terms of managing their own employees including analysis of employees shifts using OLAP, thanks to OLAP analysis companies can find out for example total delays on employees shifts. Information system is created as a web application implemented in PHP using the Laravel framework with MySQL database. Information system functionalities are: employees management, including management of employees attendances, Google Drive management, generating various files in PDF format, viewing various statistics, employees ratings, shifts management, vacations management, diseases management, employees languages management, reports management, injuries management.

The aim of the thesis is to automate the process of loading data from particular distributors, make data quality management more transparent - consolidate data from particular distributors - mainly in the area of products and points of sale (pharmacies), process existing reports in modern reporting tool, which enables the creation of new reports, including graphically processed territorial data (map reports), with the possibility of interactive viewing of detailed data.
