Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je vytvorenie troch OLAP dátových kociek, ktoré budú riešiť problematiku zahraničných ciest študentov a zamestnancov VUT. Primárnym účelom dátových kociek je rýchle poskytnutie správnych dát pre analytikov VUT. Na ich modelovanie a implementáciu je použitý softvér SAP Business Warehouse a na testovanie softvér SAP Analysis for Microsoft Excel. Po úspešnom návrhu, implementácii a testovaní disponuje VUT týmito tromi OLAP dátovými kockami na produkčnom a na vývojovom serveri SAP Business Warehouse, ku ktorým majú prístup analytici VUT. Vďaka tejto práci a dátovým kockám zameraným na zahraničné cesty majú možnosť analytici a pracovníci VUT zastávajúci manažérske role získať rýchly prístup k dátam a analýzam, ktoré slúžia na podporu správnych rozhodnutí spojených s fungovaním VUT. The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is the creation of three OLAP data cubes, which will solve the problem of foreign trips of students and employees of BUT. The primary purpose of data cubes is to quickly provide correct data for BUT analysts. SAP Business Warehouse software is used for their modeling and implementation, and SAP Analysis for Microsoft Excel software is used for testing. After successful design, implementation and testing, BUT has these three OLAP data cubes on the production and development servers of SAP Business Warehouse, to which BUT analysts have access. Thanks to this work and data cubes focused on foreign trips, analysts and BUT employees in managerial roles have the opportunity to quickly access data and analyzes that serve to support correct decisions related to the functioning of BUT.
