Tato diplomová práce řeší tvorbu datové OLAP kostky, za účelem analýzy rozsáhlých dat. Tento proces je zobrazen při vytváření kostky obsahující údaje z přijímacího řízení univerzity Vysokého učení technického v Brně. Data jsou zpracovávána komerčním nástrojem Business Warehouse od německé společnosti SAP, samotná vizualizace kostky probíhá v programu Excel pomocí rozšíření Analysis. Výsledkem této práce je OLAP kostka, pomocí které lze vytvářet analýzy přijímacího řízení univerzity a získávat data pro vyplnění příslušné části výroční zprávy o činnosti. This diploma thesis deals with the creation of a data OLAP cube for the purpose of analyzing big data. The process is shown when creating a cube containing data from the university's admissions process (specifically Brno University of Technology). The data is processed by the commercial tool Business Warehouse from the German company SAP, the cube visualization itself takes place in the program Excel using the Analysis extension. The result of this work is an OLAP cube, which can be used to create analyses of the university's admission procedure and obtain data to fill in the relevant section of the annual activity report.
