Assisting Charles University Students with Special needs

Annotation The thesis aims at analyzing the service of Assisting Charles University Students with Special Needs from the point of view of all the parties concerned. It exploers both weaknesses and strenghts of the service by means of analyzing interviews with Charles University members of staff, who represent the service in the Office for Students with Special Needs, with users of the service, and particularly with its "providers" or assistants themselves. Proposals to solve possible problems are included. The thesis is based on the results of a questionaire and an analysis of interviews with 33 assistants and 10 users of the service. Flyboarding

Name: Flyboarding - methodology of teaching begininners Goals: The aim of this work is to compare ways of teaching a first flyboard lesson (American, Vietnam, Czech). The other objective is to create a picture diagram that will help instructors in teaching the teoretical part of the lesson. Methodology: In our thesis we used a methodology of analysis and used quantitative research. We apllied the methodology of analysis in parsing each teaching method on 150 beginners. In the period under consideration of the performance stage we evaluate the results accoarding to the Zapata teaching manual [40] and the criteria (1. the lenght of the theoretical and practical part of the lesson, 2. the effectiveness of teaching, 3. the use of aids in the theoretical part of the lesson, 4. the quality of teaching history, safety, how flyboarding works, take-off, 5. the begginer feedback after the lesson) Results: We found out that the most effective teaching methodology is the American lesson. Instructional video effectively prepared beginners for the practical part of the lesson. They were able to fly in less than five minutes. The Czech methodology provedto be standart. Ethical Standards of Public Administration

The "Ethical standards of Public Administration" diploma thesis looks at the application of the Code of Ethics in central government administration and the civil service. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate the collected data, to determine the level of use of a single document, which addresses the ethical values within the administrative authorities, to identify problem areas and to propose possible solutions. The problem is defined and graphically displayed using a structured tree chart in the introductory part of the thesis. The next part of the thesis is dedicated to the subsequent identification of the problem and to the theoretical solutions, including the outline of a problem of applying ethical standards within the context of reform in government administration. This is followed by a brief description of the changes in the employment of civil servants in the government (public) administration authorities in neighbouring countries. The proposal is formulated mainly thanks to the outcomes of in-depth interviews with managers and employees that help to identify areas for improvement. The proposal includes both implementations of new tools and changes in current processes and approaches.
Prevention of Sexual Violence in Nightlife Setting: An Evaluation of the Nightlife Staff Training from the Trainees' Perspective

Background: The nightlife environment is a frequent place of the sexual violence. It happens mainly because of the atmosphere and environment in the clubs, which are sexualized and characterized by alcohol consumption or other psychoactive substances. In the Czech Republic, nobody has been systematically involved in the prevention of sexual violence by this time. Since the end of 2017, the Department of Addictology has become a partner of the project Stop-SV - Stop Sexual Violence, which is dedicated to staff training in the clubs. Aims: The primary aim is to evaluate the training program by the club staff who attended the Stop-SV training. Methodology: The thesis is based on qualitative research methodology. Respondents were selected as simple random sampling. The selection criterion was the condition of participation in the Stop-SV training as the club staff. The research sample consisted of 11 respondents - 5 women and 6 men, 28 years of average age and on the positions as bar staff, security, managers, nightlife service worker, DJ, photographer. The data were analyzed using open and axial coding methods of the grounded theory. System of human resource management in selected organization

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the human resource management system both from theoretical and practical point of view. The first part of the diploma thesis is devoted to literary research, which is focused on explanation of basic concepts and all personnel activities. The practical part contains an assessment of the current state of the organization. Required information was obtained through a questionnaire survey and an interview with the HR manager. The final part of the diploma thesis is devoted to proposals, which should contribute to the improvement of the current situation in the organization.
Development and education of employees in a medium sized organization

This diploma thesis analyses education and development of employees in selected organization. The aim of my thesis is to evaluate the current system of education and development of employees in selected organization. Theoretical part defines the basic terminology, which is more elaborated in practical part. Practical part consists of description of the organization, description of education that is currently being used and also questionnaires for employees, and unstructured interview. Questionnaires include twenty questions, that were given to the employees of selected business. Most of the employees were very willing and helpful. Questionnaire contains questions targeted at education and development of employees. Output of these questionnaires is finding, whether the organization motivates employees enough to increase their education and whether it offers or mediates sufficient amount of methods to increase education. The work is concluded with proposals and suggestions for making the education system more efficient.
