The Bachelor thesis deals with designing of part of information system based on iPads as learning tools. The theoretical part focuses on general theory, specifics related to the topic and benefits of iPads in education sector. Practical part focuses on analysing and comparing different proposed solutions in terms of contribution and financial demand for the particular school, subsequent selection of most suitable one and integration into current information system of this school.

Design of settlement structure of contemporary city in historical context.

The assignment for this thesis was to prepare an architectural plan for barracks in Černé Pole in Brno. As part of the assignment, I attempted to rejuvenate and open up the given territory to the town and to its people and to connect it to the surrounding structures. I expanded the territory in question with adjacent panel construction from the north, as one of the objectives was to gradually incorporate this development in a way so that it does not create a barrier. The second objective was to revive two historical barracks buildings and a panel building dormitory, which serve as a reference for the image of the place. The thesis is split into two parts - analysis and proposal. In the proposal I discuss specific materials, transportation and public spaces. Most of the territory is made up of residential spaces with civil and commercial spaces, which together make the entire area functional. In my proposal I try to show how the entire territory can be solved, with the involvement of the historic and panel buildings, and not just building on an empty brownfield.
Architectural study of accessible / protected/ spaces

This architectural study offers a solution of the Gemini High School‘s new bulding, /Brno Lesná, the bulding site number 202/9, Vaculíkova street/, and shows a new building of a house of culture with a commercial area instead of today’s school /the bulding site number 253/. The new way of car parking and strenghtened areas of this street are included. The building and pulling down of today’s houses and buildings are devided into 2 phases. In the first phase a new barrier – free school building with a possibility of accommodation and flats is designed /building site number 202/9. This bulding has got two entrances. One from the northern part is for a school and the second one in the west is for the tenants. The school area is spread among the first and the third floor (classrooms, canteen, offfices). The fourh floor is used for students‘ accommodation and for a terrace entrance. There are some flats (2+1, 3+ small kitchen, max. area 120 m) from the fifth to the tenth floors. In the underground the are some tenants‘ cellars and technological rooms for school. The renewed car parking for all the tenants, school visitors and others is provided in Vaculíkova street. After the firt phase of building the new school project will go into the second part. In that time the old school will be pulled down and a new house of culture is designed in this place. There will be restaurant, commercial area, cinema, library – café and gym – fitness. On the first floor there are a restaurant, a library – café a cinema. On the second floor there are a gym – fitness and a commercial area. Car parking for the visitors is provided in the underground - 52 cars + 4 handicapped people. The green roof of this house is designed to be comfortable to watch it from the neighbourhood and do not damage the look of this new building. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to create a new Faculty of Architecture in close proximity to the Faculty of Fine Arts on the BUT campus. The aim was to achieve a dignified environment for teaching future architects. In the complex there is a building designed for the Faculty of Architecture. However, it does not have sufficient capacity to cover teaching needs. Therefore, both the existing building and the extension and their interconnection were solved within the project. The main goal of the project was to create an environment that reflects today. The architect in particular should have a more general overview. The premises are as open and shared as possible, so that the students themselves enrich each other as much as possible. Emphasis is placed on the open layout of the interior, into which the exterior blends in selected places, the floors are enriched with atriums and elevated floors, which allow greater social contact.
Design of lighting system in high school

The theoretical part is focused on lights, notions and calculations in the area of light technology, basic lightning sources and lamps. This work is also about the principle of lightning measuring. The main aim of the work is design of a new artificial lightning system in a High school agriculture in Prerov. At first, the control measuring of existing lightning was done which is mentioned in this work. From the results of control measuring is clear, that existing lighting system in classroom does not suit requirements, which are mentioned in the valid technical norm. Design of a new lightning system meets the requirements in all of the rooms in the building of school. Design of lightning system was done in two variants. The first variant uses lamps with fluorescent tube light sources. The second variant uses lamps with LED light sources. Also is here evaluated financial difficulty of possible installation and comparation of each variants with respect energetic difficulty.

School, the Foundation of Life – a Complex of Educational Buildings in Ostrava, Cerna louka

Urban design of the site called Black meadow in Ostrava is based on the winners’ design of urban planning competition for this place from the Dutch architectural studio Maxwan made in 2010. Changes in urban planning are influenced by changes of conditions, in which is the city Ostrava today. Nowadays it‘s important to find some additional function instead of just cultural cluster planned in 2010. The function, which is missing in the area and has potential to be realized in the future is sport and relax. It‘s nothing better, than develop different types of sport activities on the riverside and connect sport, relax and cultural activities at one place, to create living and attractive place. The major task was design of the school complex in this area. My school is located outside of Black meadow cluster, but in his very neighborhood, in connection with the sport playgrounds created along the river. Separated operational units are connected with common spaces like school library, canteen and hall and surround the common schoolyard with the view to the river and castle. Simple raster of classes is broken by common meeting and sport areas, which are extruded from the rectangular plan and creating view points, which communicate together and improve the orientation in the building.
Nursery School

Subject of my diploma thesis is design of new kindergarten for approximately 75 children in village Velký Týnec near Olomouc. Design is made in level of detailed design. The purpose od desing is hand in hand with the concept of preschool education - it is based on the fact that a younger age child has acquired the basics of key competences and thus has the prerequisites for his / her lifelong learning that would allow his / her easier and more reliable application in society. The architectural concept is based on a mutual dialogue between investor (supervisor) and designer (student) and takes into account the territorial, property, historical and other relationships in the given locality. Proposed building is an arched, non-duplex, two-storey building. The facades of the building are designed as ventilated, with wooden tiles, the roof is single-faced with a sloping attic. Entrance to object is from north side. First floor is divided into three parts - central part with entrance atrium and two side wings with nursery schools. Second floor consists of the third department of kindergarten, headmaster office and the quarantine room. The static desigh of object is made up of ceramic blocks on the first floor, and on second floor, the system is combined with cross-sections which are led by columns. The ceilings are designed from pre-stressed spiroll panels. Park landscaping was designed on the surrounding site.
