Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat, popsat a vyhodnotit chování seniorů ve veřejných knihovnách, a to na příkladu Městské knihovny v Praze. Ve vybraných pobočkách této knihovny byl také proveden rozbor statistických ukazatelů a pozorování. - První kapitola se zabývá vymezením pojmu senior a jeho terminologií, krátce je popsán problém stárnutí a stáří, na který navazuje vývoj populace ve světě i v ČR a jeho důsledky. Dále je pojednáno o mezinárodních a národních programech stárnutí a aktivitách v oblasti vzdělávání. Druhá kapitola popisuje služby veřejných knihoven seniorům, informační potřeby seniorů a aktivity knihoven v oblasti stárnutí. Poslední kapitola je věnována představení Městské knihovny v Praze a analýze výsledků dotazníkového šetření a pozorování v jednotlivých pobočkách této instituce. [Autorský abstrakt].

Multicultural Reality of High school Students in Prague. The influence of Sport in Multicultural Interaction.

This thesis deals with the perception of the multicultural environment from the point of view of high school students in Prague and it evaluates their opportunities which help them learn about different cultures, about how to be tolerant and behave respectfully to one another. Prague represents a metropolis where the problem of multiculturalism may not be as obvious as in other cities of the western Europe, but it becomes more significant day after day. The main focus is put on the questionnaires whose value is to be seen in the students' opinions about the topic, their view at the multicultural world and the possibilities of influencing this view by the means of sport. Title: Multicultural Reality of High School Students in Prague. The Influence of Sport in Multicultural Interaction Aims: This thesis found out how the frequency of participation in sport influences the perception of multicultural environment and if those who take part in sport more intensively behave more tolerantly in this environment. Method: The research was carried out by the means of questionnaires which were distrubuted to five high schools in Prague. The revue of Příbram ,,Horymír" in 1871 - 1891

Význam tisku jako pramene a jako fenoménu spoluvytvářejícího dějinný vývoj je jednoznačně uznáván. Ve vývoji české žurnalistiky je počátečním mezníkem rok 1719, kdy začaly v Praze vycházet první české periodické noviny. Ze skromných začátků se v období národního obrození vyvíjejí noviny s buditelskými, osvícenskými a vzdělavatelskými cíli. Po zavedení ústavnosti v 60. letech 19. století se z nich stávají skutečné politické orgány, které jsou mluvčím již cílevědomé české buržoazie a jejich jazykových, národních a státoprávních nároků. Českou žurnalistiku pak po několika desetiletí představují mladočeské a staročeské listy. Po pádu punktací se žurnalistika dále diferencuje. S novými politickými stranami vznikají i nové politické noviny, vedle kvantity se mění i kvalita žurnalistiky.

Communication as the determination factor of human resources management

The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the first chapter of the theoretical part I focus on social communication, its definition and sublayers of verbal and nonverbal communication. The second chapter brings definitions of the terms ?management? and ?human resources management?. I also concentrate on communication in organisations. The end of the second chapter is devoted to motivation and to the theories of motivation. In the practical part I addressed myself to a research, which purpose was charting the motivational skills of leading workers.

Greek gastronomy

The aim of the work is to characterize Greek gastronomy, to emphasize the qualities of Greek cuisine and its typical features, to point out the importance of Greek gastronomy both for the tourism industry in Greece and for the local inhabitants, to analyse the position of Greek gastronomy in Prague and the possibilities to use local dining facilities for this designated purpose. In the first chapter of the study, basic gastronomic terminology is defined as well as the importance of gastronomy in history, dining as a fundamental service in the tourism industry and the relationship between tourism and gastronomy is also explained. The second chapter of the study dwells on the importance of the tourism industry for the Greek economy. It expands on basic geographic details and on the history of Greece. The third chapter focuses on the characteristics of Greece gastronomy it describes traditional Greek meals, local dining habits, table manners or Greek festivals associated with gastronomy. The final, practical part is dedicated to Greek gastronomy in Prague and analyses chosen dining facilities, then, using a comparative method, compares the acquired information by its own means.

Selected Theoretical and Practical Aspects of the Quality of Nursing Care

The subject of this diploma paper is the quality of The Health Sevice. This is a major issue of interest, not only to medical experts, but patiens and the general public. Due to increasing competititon within The Nursery Health Service, hospitals must now, monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and instigate changes as necessary . A glossary of words used within this paper, relating to quality in The Helath Service, is found in the Introduction. Systems of quality assurance, accreditation and resource issues are also introduced. The research focuses on patient satisfaction with the nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit within the surgery department of IKEM. The answers are categorised and either presented graphically or compared statistically. The conclusion contains recommmendations for changes that would improve the quality of nursing care.

?Práce se zabývá analýzou gastronomických zařízení v Praze 2 a v turisticky atraktivním místě v rámci této městské části, v areálu Národní kulturní památky Vyšehrad. Teoretická část práce je věnovaná vymezení základních pojmů vztahujících se ke společnému stravování, dále historickému vývoji, významu a funkci stravovacích služeb, webovým stránkám s databází stravovacích provozoven a pravomocím živnostenských odborů úřadů městských částí. Praktickou částí práce je kvalitativní a kvantitativní analýza gastronomických zařízení v městské části Praha 2 a analýza vybavenosti gastronomickými provozovnami na Vyšehradě.[cs]

The Jewish community in Kolín. The Jewish people in accounting sources (the 16th- 18th centuries)

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá rozborem pramenů, které dokumentují vývoj židovské obce v Kolíně. Je všeobecně známo, že zdejší židovská obec patřila svého času k těm největším v českých zemích. Došlo k tomu po vyhnání Židů 1 z Plzně roku 1504, kdy se stala druhou nejlidnatější po Praze. Protože archivních dokumentů o židovském Kolíně je zachováno velké množství v různých fondech, zvolila jsem užší časový úsek, vymezený souhrnnými soupisovými dokumenty. Práce je doplněna o historii kolínských Židů od počátků, doloženou nejen v městských knihách.

The ethics code and the meaning of professional ethics

Each profession has its own competence. Some of them are protected by law, other is governed by the code of ethics. Its code of ethics has doctors, nurses, journalists, workers in public administration and other. Theoretical part of my thesis I will give a definition of the code of ethics based on the literature. I would like to further specify the professions that are subject to the code of the ethics. In my thesis I chose the profession teachers, doctors and nurses. In the practical part I will try to find understanding, respect and the importance of a code of ethics in these professions. For that finding I will use a questionnaire which will evaluate the information.
