Automated oscilloscope calibration
Krejz, Jan ; Bartoň, Jan (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the preparation and subsequent automated calibration of the Rhode&Schwarz RTB2002 oscilloscope using the Meatest 9010 calibrator. The first part brings a theoretical introduction to the environment of Caliber and the issue of calibration of oscilloscopes. The second part contains the preparation and design of the calibration procedure including its practical implementation and comparison of the results of the automated and manual calibration of the chosen oscilloscope.
Design and fabrication of USB oscilloscope
Daněk, Martin ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor’s thesis is to develop and fabricate a simple two channel oscilloscope. A basic theory and construction of oscilloscopes is described first and their most important parameters discussed. Next, a couple of existing projects are analyzed, and the advantages and disadvantages of their construction are evaluated. Then a block and complete electronic scheme are presented and component choice is discussed. Finally, the product of this thesis is measured and the achieved parameters are evaluated.
A Laboratory Task: Oscilloscope Measurement
Malý, Ondřej ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a signal generator for a laboratory task of the subject HELE. As a generating chip is used ICL 8038 that can generate three types of waveform – sinus, square wave and triangle. The frequency range is from 20 Hz to 20 kHz in selected circuit. Output is connected to oscilloscope probe, but also to 3.5mm headphone jack through which can be the selected waveform listened to on the connected headphones or speakers and measure the audible threshold.
Multipurpose measuring device
David, Jan ; Žák, Jaromír (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of portable multi-purpose measuring device with Microcontrollers from Microchip running on battery power, for displaying the measured signal uses a graphical LCD with a resolution of 240x128. The device is equipped with an oscilloscope and multimeter with auto range.
The USB Oscilloscope and Logic Analyzer with a Microprocessor
Pešl, Jiří ; Magát, Martin (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is design of electronic measurement and diagnostic device to a computer or any other portable device as are modern mobile phones and PDAs. Designed system will be measure analog periodical signals in time in currently used ranges and discrete logic signals. Signals will be restored and displayed on the screen of any other device. Wherewith designed device will be communicate through USB 2.0 or Bluetooth interface.
PC oscilloscope – hardware part
Mego, Roman ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor`s thesis is to design and construct a device, which will be used as oscilloscope and logic analyzer. This document contains a basic list of attributes of oscilloscopes, which are used in designing. In the next part of document, block diagram is shown, which is analyzed by functional blocks to the circuit diagram. Third part of the document describes, algorithm for controlling and data capturing. The end of the document is dealing with realization of hardware and software parts.
Digital oscilloscope with USB interface
Vadinský, Václav ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The work deals with design and implementation of hardware and software oscilloscope to a PC. A communication with PC is via USB interface from which is the oscilloscope powered. The oscilloscope is equipped with 2 measuring channels with vertical resolution 12 bits and maximum sampling frequency 80MHz. Any adjustment of parameters is performed using the PC. The work also deals with manner of recording, synchronization of measurements and sending the measured data to PC and its subsequent processing and evaluation.
Design of universal motortester for car servis
Vařeka, Libor ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this dissertation is to focus on the systems design of a multi purpose engine tester, a device for diagnostic techniques of self propelled motor vehicles to be used in a car mechanics work shop. The principle aim is to combine a permanently installed PC, a portable laptop and a workshop trolley containing all the necessary assembly tools and accessories. These three pieces used together will serve as a self contained unit within the workshop. I will compare the quality of the devices with others on the market. I will talk about the layout of the individual parts such as the design, structure and shape of the unit, as well as the ergonomics of the designed pieces. An important factor will be reducing the size of the device without compromising the quality and keeping it a similar price to other similar products on the market.
Measuring device connected over USB
Flek, Tomáš ; Strašil, Ivo (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
In essence, this master’s thesis focuses on search and project on optimal electrical scheme, which will substitute for digital oscilloscope function. The thesis consist of three parts, first part is about problems associated with oscilloscope signal sampling and data bus descriptions, second part where are selected particular circuits, electrical scheme, eventually shown different options which could be used. Third part consists of software function description developed for controlling microprocessor. In choosing of analog devices, are focused on parameters like maximal input voltage on which the device has most ideal parameters, but also parameters, which are critical for particular block, like for example input impedance, device noise, operating amplifier input voltage and current offset. All devices were chosen with battery supply possibility, so what the lowest possible power consumption. In this thesis is theoretically described each circuit block and reasons for their selection.
RLXY
Sedláček, Tomáš ; Suchánek, Jiří (referee) ; Krekovič, Slavomír (advisor)
The project is conceived as audiovisual performance using own author´s software. The project is focused on experiments with transfer of three-dimensional data, two-dimensional image into the sound and on the contrary. The goal of the project is to explore medium itself and to find new solutions.
