Learnability of ethics: is it possible to acquire a virtue? Key words: ethics, virtue, learning, learnability, knowledge, practice This diploma thesis is focused on the field of virtue ethics as one of the main branches of the practical philosophy and on the theme of the possibility to learn or acquire a virtue. In the introduction part, it presents the context and the basis of the theme and besides that also the fundamental criteria, by which the outcome of the thesis and the main question will be assessed. Then a general description of the main principles of the virtue ethics is introduced. The next two main chapters are devoted to the description of the approach to this kind of moral philosophy in the works of it's two most significant representatives, Plato and Aristotle. This description is held with the idea to stress those aspects of virtue, that are in connection with the possibility and forms of learning it. The next chapter brings several more examples of the opinion about both introduces conceptions from the viewpoint of the learnability of virtue. The conclusion then summarizes the described features of the virtue, in what way they connect with the idea of learnability and if they meet the criteria set at the beginning of the thesis.

The influence of the Visegrad Group on the negotiations on the MFF 2014-2020 and 2021-2027

The fundamental idea of the coexistence of the contemporary central European states within one geopolitical space has its beginning in the 14th century when the monarchs of Bohemia, Poland and Hungary found and articulated a common interest in cooperation in defence against Habsburg's power expansion. The formalised form of cooperation was later implemented within the Austrian and subsequently Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Austria's dominant role ended in 1918 with the breakdown of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, as one of the results of the first world war. The current Visegrad Group was created as a need to respond to the new challenges that these countries had to face in the new geopolitical order of Europe. In pursuing a realistic policy, the Visegrad group can become a significant force not only within the EU, capable of defending the economic, military, and political interests of its members. The promotion of the economic and national interests of the individual members of the Visegrad Group can be enhanced by mutual cooperation within the European Union, especially during negotiations of the long-term budgets of the European Union. 1 Hearing in Contentious Procedure Abstract This rigorous thesis deals with a hearing as a key phase of a contentious procedure in which the presiding judge, in cooperation with the parties, takes evidence and undertakes other appropriate measures in order to ensure complete and fair hearing without undue delay in the proceedings. The primary aim of this rigorous thesis is to describe the course of a hearing in the contentious procedure, as well as to analyse its legal basis governed by the provisions of § 115 et seq. of Act No. 99/1963 Coll., Code of Civil Procedure, as amended. For the sake of clarity, the text of this rigorous thesis is divided into five parts marked with letters A to E, which then contain 11 chapters. Firstly, the essential concepts are defined in Part A. The concept of "contentious procedure" is defined, its parties and their adversarial positions are introduced, their procedural initiative is described, as well as the function of the contentious procedure itself. Truth and theatre

The topic of this bachelor thesis Truth and Theatre is the study of the truth by connecting the concepts of the phenomenologist Jan Patočka and the theatre director and researcher Jerzy Grotowski. The objective of this thesis is to capture the factual connection between these two concepts. This work reveals how the topic of the truth tied with the ancient abstract meaning of aletheia - "unconcealedness" is being manifested in the theatre, how it is related to the themes of myth, ritual, situation, corporality, education and why is this understanding of truth inseparable from the action, self-awareness and the moral. The aim of this work is also to map the philosophical basis for the master's thesis, which will be created at the Department of Drama in Education on DAMU. The authority of basketball coaches as perceived by their charges

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the authority of basketball coaches as perceived by their charges. The data was obtained from players aged 14-19, using a quantitative method and an online questionnaire. The collected data was processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS. The main objective of the thesis is to find out how charges perceive the authority of their basketball coaches. The thesis identifies various forms of authority found in coaches, determining which form prevails. Based on the information obtained, it is examined how the perception of authority in a coach differs depending on the characteristics of the charge, such as age, gender and education. The thesis also examines the way the coach acts in front of their charges and the way they lead the team. The thesis also describes the influence of parents on the perception of authority. The thesis is divided into six parts, first being the theoretical part, which includes definitions and theoretical foundation for all the concepts mentioned in the thesis. This bachelor thesis deals with the mutual business relations between the Czech Republic and France and describes the functioning and activities of the French-Czech Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as FCCC). The aim of this paper is to characterize the activities of FCCC and to evaluate its contribution to the deepening of the trade relations between the Czech Republic and France. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter covers the mutual Czech-French business relations and cultural differences. The second chapter describes the FCCC, its mission, membership and activities. The third chapter includes interviews with members of the Chamber.

The thesis deals with the Czechoslovakian philosophy in the nineteen-sixties. It focuses not only to its historical description but intends to enter its philosophical thinking from inside and analyse its principal categories. Especially it focuses on the category of work and examines its various formulations, developed in different theoretical perspectives of Czechoslovakian philosophers. This allows distinguish these perspectives in their similarities on one hand and differences on the other. The thesis notably focuses on so called "Hegelian movement" and its evaluation of category of work. This movement, which is in fact the Czechoslovakian variation to the philosophy of praxis, formulates the category of work in its philosophical meaning, i. e. as an ontological category decisive for an origin of the reality and human being. It was originally Hegel, who developed this meaning of category, and Czechoslovakian Hegelian movement continued in developing his ontology adopted through Marx.
