Reconstruction of the road bridge near the village Holýšov
Svoboda, Adam ; Pinkas, Karel (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of strengthening of existing bridge structure near the village Holýšov using modern method of additional presstresing. The bridge over the river of Radbuza is h-shaped beam bridge, which was built in 1924. In the present state its load capacity is under the limits for bridges situated on first-class roads. Original documentation of the bridge does not exist, the main source of information about construction details is the diagnostics research. The method of reinforcement by post-tensioning by cables in substituted cable ducts is highly efective in terms of the incerease the load capacity of existing bridge structure. The design of strengthening and the final load capacity was verified by static calculation.

The study of mitochondrial biogenesis during fetal development
Pejznochová, Martina ; Zeman, Jiří (advisor) ; Hyánek, Josef (referee) ; Brdička, Radim (referee)
Postnatal adaptation of neonate to extrauterine life is among others dependent on effective mitochondrial biogenesis during fetal development. Therefore the study of mitochondrial biogenesis on molecular and biochemical level may improve the care of very premature neonates, especially critically ill premature neonates. This thesis has been worked out in The laboratory for study of mitochondrial disorders (Department of Pediatrics, 1st faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague). The thesis is based on molecular genetic analyses, which are focus on characterization of expression of gene involved in mitochondrial biogenesis including gene of oxidative phosphorylation system (OXPHOS) and on changes in mtDNA content during human fetal development. The results than enable : Efective analysis of the mRNA expression level by quantitative real-time PCR method in fetal tissues. Analysis of the changes in the mtDNA content in different fetal tissues To understand and to explain the tissue-specific differences in expression of the OXPHOS genes and of the genes involved in mtDNA transcription and in regulation of mtDNA content during second trimester of gestation.

The progress of the efective tax rates from the corporate income

My diploma deals with the effective taxation from the corporate income. The main part of the thesis is aimed on general progress of the effective corporate tax as well as progress of the effective corporate tax in the Czech Republic. Effective corporate tax is a rate, which reflects the real taxation of corporates in particular states. The effective corporate tax arises from the statutory tax rate, which is adjusted by such items, which affect the final taxation. First part of the thesis deals with the options of set up of effective corporate income tax. The second part deals with the tax system in the Czech Republic. The analytic part is aimed on the progress of the effective tax rate. This part is attended by graphs, which show as well as compare the effective corporate income tax rate in particular states.

The Impact of Theory of Optimal Currency Areas on Discursus of Political Parties ČSSD and ODS about the Entry to the Eurozone Between the Years 2010 - 2012
Müller, Lukáš ; Kasáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Svoboda, Karel (referee)
This essay is about the theory of optimal currency areas (OCA) and its reflection in public discussion of two biggest political parties in Czech Republic - ODS and ČSSD, about Czech Republic entering the European Monetary Union (EMU). Although EMU hadn't met the criteria of OCA before the examined period, both parties entered the elections in May 2010 with more or less pro-european program despite decreasing support of eurozone in Czech public opinion. While ČSSD only limitedly mentioned the OCA in their agumentation and explained their attitude with other reasons, ODS pointed out the heterogenity of EMU, which avoided the eurozone from efective dealing with assymetric economic shocks. While ČSSD remained loyal to its pro European policy even after the election, ODS started diverting from their European agenda right after them. This process ended with their demand for referendum about the entry of Czech Republic to the Eurozone. Before the elections, Social Democrats were the ones to discuss this topic the most, but afterwards their rhetoric limited mostly to reactions to public statements and actions of ODS only.

Houžvička, Jakub ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Derfler, Václav (referee)
The bachelor work propose complex procedure of managing e-business projects. It begins in project concept (rights establishment of goals, deadlines, budget and selection of resources), after that follow analyses (market analysis, database analysis, process analysis and analysis of application architecture). Than it continues with process plan (list of tasks to be done and their delegation) and project implementation, at which is closely connected testing (user, security and execution) it ends with closing of project. The second part contains list of selected software tools, which enabling efective managing of project and its description. The tools are divided to commerce and non-commerce.

"Slušovický zázrak" analysis
Paseka, Petr ; Chalupecký, Petr (advisor) ; Szobi, Pavel (referee)
This bachelor thesis analyzes a rapid economic growth of JZD Slušovice with a focus on the 80's, when the growth was the biggest and therefore it was called,,slusovicky miracle,,.The aim of the work is to determine the most important factors wich contributed to the success of the collective farm. If it was especially skillful, efective and modern way of managment, which the chairman of the collective farm ,,doc.Ing. Frantisek Cuba CSc., generally described as an active business system or it was the politic connections and it's benefits ,non-standard for that time, which played the main role. The thesis came to a conclusion that behind the extraordinary success of Slušovice stands, besides the undeniable leadership qualities, also the inclusion in the government supported experiment. It was unable to confirm nor refute whether JZD Slusovice was involved in that experiment based on specific political connections of František Čuba.

Protection of water supply focused on terrorist attack by selective contaminants in the district of Žatec
HRUŠKOVÁ, Hana
In my bachelor thesis, I concentrated primarily to issues inclusive to water management and terrorism. The main aim of my thesis is to analyze protection of water supply against possible terrorist attack with using of selective contaminants. The district of Žatec is defined by administrative area municipality with extended competence Žatec that includes 18 villages and their parts. Over 91 % from the 26 thousand inhabitants are supplied a potable water by public water supply from several surface and groundwater water sources. In this region has been built over 20 water tanks, more than 200 km water mains, several pump stations, water treatment plant and another equipment. Water supply network of the district Žatec is controlled by regional dispatch center, located in Most. In partial analyse of security system water supply, I focused on issue of the protection against external disruption by terrorists on selective objects or equipment. I visited some of them, specifically selected water tanks and dispatching by excursion with expert consultation. I founded that the most vulnerable components are water tanks which are not connected to dispatching. That´s means that dispatchers haven´t continuous information about monitored parameters of water tanks and that these water tanks are not secured by infrared sensor which points out a break-in. These water tanks aren´t connected to large distributional systems. They supply individual town or group of municipalities by local or group water mains. Their further disadvantage is small capacity too. Water tank at Třeskonice has two chamber each with capacity of 25 m3. I defined suitable contaminant of water supply system by analysis potentially hazardous water contaminants. I compared required properties of suitable contaminant with available informations concerning to selective biological weapons and toxins. Although, at first I supposed that I will define by analysis more suitable contaminants than one, so I could determine only bacillus anthracis as potentially highly hazardous water contaminant due to limited access of available informations about agens. Spores of this bacterium which cause anthrax are e.g. resistant to chlorine, stable in water enviroment, relatively easy cultivation on selected culture medium. There is probably posibility to be infected by cutaneous and intestinal forms of anthrax through effective and sufficient contamination. In the final analysis, the potential of a terrorist attack on the water supply network of the district Žatec, I concentrated mainly on evaluation posibilities of ways performance terrorist attack from the point of view of efectivity and difficulty performance such terrorist attack and on evaluation of total and general potencial terrorist attack. The easiest and the most likely ways of performance terrorist attack is direct aplication of suitable contaminant into water tanks´s reservoir. Simultaneously the easiest and the most effective is contamination into selective water tanks that I specified in analysis security of water supply network. Nevertheless is undoubted that even ineffective contamination would mean really significant intervention towards activities of all relevant institutions and serious disruption of inhabitants´s daily life. Due to my achieved results is neccesary to raise level of protection water supply network for some parts of this system. It concerns primarily improvement security for individual water tanks. It is also desirable to determine security level of water tanks by legislative law. For verification of preparedness for such crisis situation is needed to perform a demonstration training with model situation for possible contamination of the water network by hazardous substances.Concurrently it is important to implement available and actual data from adequate foreing sources which are concerning to a research potentional water contaminants, especially biological and chemical weapons.
