Pilátová, Michaela ; Pokorný, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kopecký, Michal (referee)
With a growing amount of information available on the Internet and by other technologies, there is a growing need to distribute data to individua/ users as fast as possible - and only to those who are interested. Publish-subscribe systems allow users to specify their interes/s using profi/es created with an appropriate query language, thus order receiving required information from all available sources contributing to the syslem. The XML language nowadays belongs to the most important standards used for data exchange. This thesis deals with publish-subscribe systems working with data in XML data forma!. Methods of effective filtration of XML data and general techniques used in publish-subscribe systems for delivery of pertinent data to users are discussed there. Also, a prototype of a simple publish-subscribe syslem working with XML - Xm/Part - is implemented. A couple of techniques connected to information delivery is implemented and tested using this syslem on real data. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Assessment of Nursing care differences' at Patients with Lower Extremity Fracture at Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department at The Ceske Budejovice Hospital, Inc. and The AOVV - Presidio di Sondrio
VOKÁČOVÁ, Jiřina
This Bachelor's thesis, composed by theoretical form with application of own personal experience from Department of Trauma Surgery at Ceske Budejovice Hospital, Inc. and Orthopaedic and Traumatology at The Hospital Sondrio, characterizes methods of specific therapy procedures in organization and systems of provided nursing care, its differences at patients with skeletal traction, external fixator, ostheosynthesis and with immobilization dressing, included physiotherapy. It also specify nurses responsibilities starts by the admission of injured patient at A&E department, perioperative care and finally ends by patient's discharge or transfer. It contents also the elements of nursing care documentation created by theoretical models used in specific nursing care of hospitals mentioned above. The main aim of this thesis was comparison of nursing care differences at patients with lower leg injury at A&E departments at the Ceske Budejovice Hospital, Inc. and the AOVV - Presidio di Sondrio. It has been found based on the available specialized literature and own personal experience, that the most essential differences are in nursing care documentation, wound care at patients with external fixator, providing of hygiene and patient's education. Department of Trauma Surgery at the Ceske Budejovice Hospital, Inc. has plenty of nursing care forms which nurses are overload with and their content do not quite correspond with specifically provided care at mentioned department. Nurses are not updated with knowledge of new therapy procedures concerning to wound care with external fixator. Quality hygiene care at Orthopaedic and Traumatology at the Hospital Sondrio is provided by authorized Healthcare Assistants which allow to nurse time relief to perform specialized activities and devote more time to patient by communication. Complex education of patient and their relatives has been also provided at the same department. Final results could be used to improve the quality of nursing care at the hospitals. For this purpose were suggested the Realisation of Nursing scheme for Department of Trauma Surgery at the Ceske Budejovice Hospital, Inc. based on model by Marisi Cantarelli and Nursing Report of patient's transport for Department of Orthopaedic and Traumatology at the Hospital Sondrio. Gained knowledge from this thesis could be used at meetings and nursing trainings from stated departments to enable find more up to date information regarding wound care technic at patients with external fixator.

The nurses motivation to exercise of a profession in the Home Care Agency
URBANOVÁ, Eva
Home care agencies provide comprehensive health and care services for individuals of all ages, chronically ill and those dying in their natural home environment or in families by their close relatives. A general practitioner indicates home care according to the current health status of the client. However, human performance is not given without reason. The need to be useful is deeply embedded in every man in his personality. The most important factor that determines the behavior of each individual is a situation in which we occur at the moment. The motivation is therefore change over the time and due to different circumstances (Šamánková, 2006; Cejthamr a Dědina, 2010). The aim of the research was to identify the motivating factors of nurses working in home care agencies, related to the occupational choice and profession. The following objectives were established on based of this research project. The form of qualitative research was chosen for elaboration of the subject of the bachelor?s thesis. The technique of depth interview by method of questioning was used to obtain the information. The acquired data were then analyzed using open coding method. The research sample was consisted of 6 nurses, who work in selected agencies operating in southern Bohemia, providing professional nursing care to clients in their natural environment. Five categories were identified as a result of the method of open coding. The first category reveals aspects that influenced nurses in choosing of a medical profession. The sisters were really influenced during choosing their profession by the experience of adverse health condition from the circle of loved ones or they felt in themselves the need to help and care for the sick persons. The nurses, when they chose their carrier in the agency home care, were affected mainly by social nature reasons, that are identify in the second category. The nurses after returning from maternity leave decide mostly for a job in the agency, because they prefer the absence of the shift work. Another reason is an unusual and interesting working environment, opportunities that this job offers to them. The third category describes the motivational factors that give nurses especially diversity and freedom in their working environment, which offers them the option of independence, self-fulfillment, fulfillment of the objectives and assumptions. The nurses considered to be very important a recognition of the client and his family, but also from the employer?s side. They feel the satisfaction of their work and also of the possibility to be in contact with people. An important role also takes a working team, which they describe as an integral part of their work performance. The fourth category reveals demotivating factors that nurses? experience in their work. These include in particular the lack of recognition and interest from employers, low salaries, communication barriers and inefficient cooperation among nursing team, labor shortages and uncertainty. The last fifth category is characterized especially by personal traits, which the nurses present. Behavior to which unanimity belongs interested in the client and his health, satisfaction and psychological well-being can be described by concepts pro-social behavior, empathy, responsibility, independence and consistency. The above specified categories established a process of interaction of these groups that interact among themselves in a certain way. The practical outcome of this bachelor?s thesis is a framework of recommendations designated for head of the management of home care agencies, concerning the motivation of employees.

In the given thesis all the steps of studying and writing a program for the management of a library are worked out. In the rst chapter the requirements of the client ordering this software are analyzed. The possible solutions are o ered. In the next part a study about barcodes and barcode readers is given, as the books and users of the library will be given barcodes. The third chapter includes a precise user documentation, explaining how to use the program. Next there is a programmer documentation explaining some interesting parts of the code and introducing the programming language that was chosen. It is then that a conclusion is made and possible future improvements are proposed.

Syntactically-based classification of Czech sentences
Kríž, Vincent ; Mírovský, Jiří (referee) ; Vidová Hladká, Barbora (advisor)
Classification of syntactically meaningful sentences is a very useful task for the applications of natural language processing, for example machine translation, search engines and question answering systems. The theoretical linguistic research considers the language to be a system of layers. In our project, a term 'to-be-meaningful' will be specified with respect to this point of view. Namely, the morphological and syntactic layers will be considered. A knowledge-based algorithm classifying a string of Czech words being either meaningful or meaningless will be proposed and implemented. Before being classified, strings will be pre-processed by the external modules. Czech will be used as the object language.

Changes of the tax mixes in the EU during the crisis
Nováková, Aneta ; Kubátová, Květa (advisor) ; Kostohryz, Jiří (referee)
The thesis deals with the question whether the financial crisis caused changes in the structure of tax revenues in the EU Member States. It's necessary to specify trends in the tax mixes that helps us to determine whether the changes in the structure can be really caused by the crisis or it is EU long-term trend. The analysis focuses on indirect taxes, social contributions and direct taxes that are analyzed separately as personal income taxes and corporate income taxes. The analyzed period is the beginning of the crisis. These are mostly the changes in the turning period pre-crisis and crisis (2006 and 2007 are compared with 2008 and 2009). The analysis is performed by t-tests.

Intertextuality in Advertising and its Use in Czech Language Lessons
Čapková, Radka ; Kvítková, Naděžda (advisor) ; Janovec, Ladislav (referee) ; Hoffmannová, Jana (referee)
Intertextuality in Advertising and its Use in Czech Language Lessons Advertising, as one of the forms of persuasive communication, often uses intertextual links to persuade, to manipulate and to seduce the recipient. The thesis analyses the intertextual links in advertising and their distribution according to the types of pretexts on the basis of theoretical research, and elaborates, how the different kinds of advertisements and commercials are perceived by secondary school students. In the first part of the thesis, relevant theories, which deal with intertextuality, are summed up, and the main terms are defined. In the area of intertextual research, we can find two main conceptions of intertextual links: broader, represented e. g. by Kristeva, Barthes, Bloom, Riffaterre, and narrower, manifested e. g. in theories of Bachtin, Genette, Głowińsky, Markiewicz or Homoláč. In our thesis we emanated from the narrower conception of Homoláč, who defines intertextuality as linking of one text to another text, which is incorporated into its meaning structure. We also defined terms architextuality and metatextuality and specified their relevance to our research. In the second part, having taken theoretical literature and language sources as a basis, types of intertextual links used in advertising are selected. The...

Visualisation of phenomena related to linear programming
Gregor, Jan ; Hladík, Milan (referee) ; Pergel, Martin (advisor)
This thesis introduces design and implementation of scripting language especially focused on visualization of phenomena related to linear programming. We describe a construction of an interpreter and a theory around it. Further we specify what the linear programming is and we show the simplex method. Regarding requierements of manipulation and visualization in vector space of dimension greater than three, there could not be used standard methods, e.g., from computer graphic. That is why there is also a description of modified algorithms used in this cases. Namely projection, transformation and drawing of n-dimensional polyhedron. This thesis also contains examples of scripts showing possibilities of the language and its interpreter.
