Rostoucí význam informací a inovací v dnešním světě spustil proces vzájemně provázaných změn s dopady do individuálních životů i orgamzace celé společnosti. Vyžaduje nové schopnosti, mění pracovní životní podmínky, dynamizuje konkurenční boj, ovlivňuje nerovnost mezi skupinami obyvatelstva. Rychlý rozvoj odborných poznatků a šíření informačních a komunikačních technologií zcela přebudovaly trh práce. Zanikají nekvalifikovaná pracovní místa a vyvíjejí se nová s vysokými kvalifikačními nároky. Zvyšuje se tlak na flexibilitu. Mění se způsob organizace práce a roste nestabilita pracovního prostředí. Pracovní síla Je soustavně konfrontována s novými úkoly a problémy a Je mnohem častěji nucena rozvíjet nové kvalifikace a dovednosti. Nemění se však Jen výkon práce, inovacemi procházejí celé orgamzace. Řízení procesů i struktury podniků se přizpůsobují jednak nejnovějším poznatkům managementu, jednak proměnám trhů a vnějšího prostředí. Klíčovou roli pro přežití a rozvoJ hrají inovace, tedy aplikované nové znalosti jako klíčový zdroj pokroku. V globalizovaném ekonomickém prostoru soutěží nejen podniky, ale i celé země a jejich konkurenceschopnost už nezávisí jen na materiálních zdrojích, ale převážně na znalostech, jejich vytváření, akumulaci a použití. Tato společnost působí na dynamickém trhu informačních a komunikačních technologií, což ji nutí tvořit flexibilní organizační strukturu, která bude podporovat budoucí rozvoj firmy.

Influence of automobile transportation on environment and possibilities of reduction of using of private automobiles

Diplomová práce popisuje a analyzuje negativní vlivy automobilové dopravy na životní prostředí a hodnotí jejich ekonomické dopady. Zároveň nabízí možná řešení těchto negativních vlivů. Jedná se především o řešení ekonomická, ale okrajově také o možnost řešení pomocí vývoje nových technologií. Jednou z možností snížení dopadů automobilové dopravy na životní prostředí je omezení používání vozidel. Mezi nástroje ke snížení jejich počtu patří hlavně zavedení placených parkovacích zón a výstavba parkovišť typu P+R a K+R. Dalším řešením je systém car-sharingu. Tento systém je rozebírán z pohledu efektivnosti, variabilních a fixních nákladů a předpokladů pro fungování. Práce analyzuje vliv daně na pohonné hmoty, substituce MHD a cyklistikou, cla a mýtného.

Offshoring obchodních, profesionálních a technických služeb: Případová studie USA

Tématem mé práce je offshoring v sektoru služeb ve Spojených státech amerických. Offshoring je proces, při kterém jsou rozděleny jednolivé části produkce a některé z nich jsou pak přesunuty do zahraničí. Většinou je motivací k offshoringu snižování nákladů. Offshoring může být spojen s outsourcingem, tj. zajištěním služby nebo výrobku externím dodavatelem. Ve své práci prezentuji teoretické přístupy k offshoringu a outsourcingu a platnost jejich závěrů zkoumám na datech ze sektoru služeb Spojených států amerických. Zaměřila jsem se na služby z kategorie informačních a komunikačních technologií, administrativních služeb poskytovaných firmám a výzkumu a vývoje. Analyzuji zejména data o produkci, produktivitě, zaměstnanosti a mezinárodním obchodě. Poslední část mé práce je analýzou americké vládní politiky zaměřené na negativní dopady offshoringu v sektoru zpracovatelského průmyslu. Zkoumám, je-li účelné takovou politiku zavádět také pro sektor služeb.

This Bachelor's work deals with the consequences of the Great Depression for Czechoslovakia in the 1930's. To better understand the situation before the Great Depression the work begins with characteristic of Czechoslovakia in the 1920's. The course of this crisis is also shortly outlined there. This bachelor's work focuses primarily on the consequences of the Great Depression on the Czechoslovakian economy connected with the social security of the inhabitants. In this work we can also read about rising national problems in Sudetenland in the 1930's. However, this part is described very shortly because of the breadth of this topic. It could be used for writting another bachelor's work.

The Comparison of the voting systems and their effects in the elections to the Chambers of Deputies of the Parliaments of the First Czechoslovak Republic and the Czech Republic between 1989 and 1998

The thesis presents voting systems of the First Czechoslovak Republic and the Czech Republic between 1989 and 1998. It tries to show their characteristics and effects. It's very interesting to see what effect it may have, when we change only one of variables of the voting system. For example, the Election treshold, which was set to 5% for the election to the Czech National Council and can significantly change the composition of the Czech National Council. It is most visible in the comparison with the system of the First Republic, where no such restrictions exist. The thesis deals firstly with proportional voting system in the first part, because both analyzed systems were proportional. In the next section we can read something about the researched systems and their specific setting of variables. On these basis the systems are then compared. The most important part of this thesis is the chapter about the effects of the voting systems on a party system. The thesis is based on the theoretical framework by Giovanni Sartori and used to examine the indexes of proportionality and of fragmentation. The result of research is to understand what the systems are similar and different in and the effects on a party system and on the behavior of voters.

Cultural and business specifics of China

This bachelor thesis deals with crucial cultural and business specifics of China, which should every entity, that intends to successfully contact and negotiate with Chinese business counterparts, be aware of. It further describes and analyses the course of a complex business case. First, the thesis deals with geographic, demographic, political and economical characteristics of the territory needed to understand the context of next chapters. The second chapter focuses on the differentiation of Chinese market, dividing cities in the Tier categories and on the possibilities of the market entry of foreign entities. The third chapter deals with aspects of Chinese business negotiation and its cultural and historical background. The last chapter of my bychelor thesis is represented by an analysis of a complex business case in the form of an explanatory case study.

Tax Implications for Real Estate Owners

The thesis deals with tax liabilities of an owner of real estate. The theoretical part describes tax acts in 2010 which are used in the thesis. I focused on selection of the parts of the acts which refer to real estate so that the public can easily understand and use them. The practical part includes taxation of specific cases with commentary and reasoning of individual steps arising during purchase, usage and transfer of real estate. The specific cases are modelled for a natural person taxpayer not being an entrepreneur and a natural person taxpayer being an entrepreneur.

The theory of optimum currency area with application to the EU

The goal of this work is to apply the theory of optimum currency areas in the euro area, and outline the positive and negative effects of monetary policy of the European Central Bank (ECB). Furthermore, it should highlight the benefits and risks arising from the entry of the Member States of the European Monetary Union (EMU) and the related macroeconomic implications. Start of work will be aimed at the theory of optimum currency area, which will be developed this issue from different angles, which is essential for the understanding of other contexts. Subsequently, work will be devoted to the European Union in terms of creation and development of the European Monetary Union and the ruling of the European Central Bank. The next section will explore the benefits and risks of the monetary union. In this context, the important concepts of transaction processing costs, exchange rates and costs of monetary union, but also increase inequality between richer and poorer regions, and others. In the final part of the work will focus on the macroeconomics effects of European monetary union, such as economic growth, inflation and unemployment.
