The subject I've chosen to work out in my bachelor thesis is "Current position of the company Škoda Auto a.s. on the automobile market". At present, the automobile industry ranks as one of the most important economic sectors and it assures a proper place in czech history as well. From today's point of view, the most significant czech car manufacturer is Škoda Auto a.s. This traditional enterprise, whose beginnings date back to the history of 19th century, is currently the biggest czech exporter. Thus, the objective of this thesis is to make the reader aware of the current events on the automobile market as well as the current position of Škoda Auto a.s. in terms of sales figures and market share. I also aim to clarify whether or not we can expect future growth of this company and how the eventual growth can be achieved.
Trade marketing of AXE brand in the Czech Republic

The aim of this graduation thesis is to provide detailed description of actual state of Czech male deodorant and antiperspirant market with putting emphasis on Axe brand, which makes efforts to become the leading brand of this dynamic market. The thesis is structured into three chapters. First chapter is mapping Czech male deodorant market and Czech retail market as well. Axe brand and its local and global activities are introduced in the second chapter. Last chapter of graduation thesis extensively describes evolution of single indicators in Czech male deodorant market which are decisive for practical area of trade marketing.
Analysis of the development of activities of Skoda Auto company on the UK market

The topic of this diploma thesis is the analysis of activities of the Czech biggest automotive producer, Skoda Auto company, on the UK market. The thesis maps historical development of the Skoda Auto's activities in that country, goes into the company's chosen growth strategy and provides an analysis of weaknesses and suggestions for possible improvements, which could lead to strengthening of Skoda Auto's position on that market. The first chapter is dedicated to the presentation of Skoda Auto company, outlining the historical development of that car maker and describing of importance, which has that company and also the whole automotive industry for the Czech Republic. The chapter also analyses the sales situation on other markets and the company's global growth strategy. The second chapter focuses on the British market. At first it researches the economic background of the country and then the automotive market. Historical development, current situation and the competition of Skoda Auto are analysed afterwards. The third chapter analyses more deeply Skoda Auto's activities on the UK market. It deals with the historical development of the company's operation in that country, analyses in detail the current growth strategy, which is implemented from 2011 to 2015. The chapter analyses the four main pillars of the strategy, sales, marketing, dealer network and aftersales, and the fulfilment of the objectives, which were set for the previous year. After that it provides the proposals for the possible improvement and steps that the company could take to consolidate its position on that market.
Innovation of the product portfolio in selected firm

The primary focus of my bachelor thesis was the product innovation in KOVO Kasejovice, the air-conditioner manufacturing factory. The goal of my work was to prove that this innovation would increase the company{\crq}s market share. The most important part of my bachelor thesis focused on the return on investment. In it I compared the existing and expected fabrication of the angular tubing. It follows that the investment would be able to increase sales and therefore to increase the company{\crq}s market share.
Analysis of Ratios on Shelves and of Selling Prices of Ladies' Hygiene Products in International Drug-Store Chains

The objective of this bachelor's thesis was to analyze the market of feminine hygiene products on international drug stores in the Czech Republic and identify how displaying of these products on individual stores corresponds to their category market share and suppliers. Thesis also compares prices across categories and points of sales.
Analysis of mobile platforms

In this thesis I focus on the prevailing mobile platforms, which are nowadays used in smartphones. There is their history until today and their advantages and disadvantages. Also there are market shares of each platforms in 2010. In the practical part I concentrate on Android applications, which are used in sport. Applications are compared and evaluated under set criteria. In the final section are presents case studies for different groups of people.

In the literature review are indicated problems related to situational analysis, competition, competition analysis, SWOT analysis, SW analysis and Porter's five forces model. The practical part is composed of a list of competitors, compare financial indicators, determination of market shares, SW analysis with valuation, identification of key strengths and weaknesses and the subsequent overall evaluation.
Global FTTx market

This master thesis focuses on the worldwide optical connection situation.Within the respective regions of Asia-Pacific,the Americas and Europe, it identifies the main countries and focuses on the situation and share of FTTx subscribers in them.It tries to answer the question of what technologies are represented the most on particular markets. Within each country,two service providers are chosen and their offer analyzed.For an overview,the price offer for an Internet connection with the highest transmission rate and the price for VoIP service are provided. The analytical part uses the obtained data from individual countries and regions for a price comparison and market forecast.The price comparison deals with the price level of a standard connection in relation to GDP per capita in PPS.This comparison enables the discovery of how expensive the Internet connection via FTTx is in a particular country.Furthermore, the analytical part, in relevant countries, focuses on the calculation of the ratio of costs for the yearly use of a FTTx subscription in relation to the disposable family income. The highest ratio-8.37%-was recorded in India. The thesis also includes a market forecast in the horizon of the end of 2009 and 2010 for the most important countries.For each country,the main growth factor is identified and subsequently the development for the entire year 2009 and 2010 is forecast.The worldwide forecast is 61.37 million (as of the end of 2009) and 72.67 million (as of the end of 2010) FTTx subscriptions.The contribution of this master thesis is the analysis of in what state of development the market of Internet optical connection is in the most important countries, with price comparisons and a market forecast constituting further contributions.
Strategic Analysis of an Enterprise

A strategy analysis of former development and present strategic position of ČEZ, a.s. is made in this diploma thesis. There were used such analysis as PEST, Porter's 5F model, 4C, SWOT and internal analysis. On the basis of my analysis I formulate conclusion.
