This bachelor thesis should be instruction for obtaining subsidies from EU structural funds, namely the Fund for small projects. It describes the procedure for establishing the civic association, which is an appropriate organizational form for a grant and is also focusing on an appropriate provisioning programs for non-profit organizations and individual project request. The thesis is based on the project Brněnské hry bez hranic.

The theme of this paper is "The quality assurance of the children footwear during production". The objective is the elevation of the difficulty and intensity of the production of the children footwear, but also to find the key for the customer - how to choose the right footwear for the child. Children foot is very sensitive and could be easily damaged during a very short period so having good shoes is really important. First, I will explain the footwear theory, then I will focuse on the czech legislation and finally what the czech producer can do so that the small customer would receive good quality shoes.

The content of my bachelor thesis is a theoretical description of basic terms relating to strategic management and kinds of strategic analysis to be applied especially in times of economic instability. In the practical part, I tried to propose changes in the strategic management of a particular small engineering firm, affected by the current economic crisis.
The comparison of small and medium-sized enterprises in Czech Republic and France

This bachelor thesis is divided into two sections. The theoretical section describes the situation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Czech Republic and in France, their social and economic contribution, legal forms of business as well as the tax burden and the entrepreneurial environment in those economies in question. The second section deals with the practical application of theoretical knowledge to the enterprise VINICOLA Ltd which business activity is based on the import of attributive wines. After evaluation of all compared aspects, the proposition of possible strategy to strengthen the position on the market is presented.
Transition of small company into middle-sized company - change management in the management of work output

This master thesis deals with problems of changes in the management of human resources connected to an expansion of a company. It focuses on small and middle-sized companies. The first part describes theoretical principles of company growth, change management and specifics of small and middle-sized companies, including differences in human resources management. The second part describes some practical examples in the field of company growth and related changes. Different attitudes and ways applied to implement changes while solving growth problems are shown on the sample of two selected companies Each of the two companies finally developed in an opposite way, depending on how they had implemented changes. The first company continues its development as a middle-sized company and the latter bankrupted. Analysis of reasons of the success or failure while managing the growth is a part of this master thesis.
Factors affecting the prosperity of a private dental office

The goal of the present thesis is to explore the activity and assess the situation of a private dental office and to propose measures to improve its prosperity. The results of the said analysis and proposals may be utilised by either the current practitioner-entrepreneur or her daughter, a fresh practitioner. It is a partial goal to identify the key specifics of dental practitioner entreprising. In the theoretical part, I focus my attention to the specifics of small and medium businesses and characterise the individual aspects of management, marketing, personal management, and financial management. In the practical part, I apply the gathered theoretical findings in identifying the factors affecting the prosperity of a private dental office and laying down proposals to maintain the current situation and improving it in the future. Some of the proposed measures have already been applied in practice in the course of completion of this diploma thesis.
Present issues related to the development of small settlements

This thesis has been focused on the widely discussed - development tendencies in the domain of small settlements in the Czech Republic. The objective of this work is to appraise significance of the main factors influencing situation of these settlements in the developing of habitation system and their economic possibilities with regard to the present and future economic environment. The analysis has been aimed.at the main local factors having impact on this development, above all employment, mobility and territorial utility systems. The general knowledge will be applied to the chosen territorial units in the administrative region Central Bohemia Region, above all to the district Benešov. Methods used in the work: SWOT analysis, research in the explored area, based on interview and also usual methods of statistical analysis, methods used for comparing microregions -- rate of diversification, growth indicators etc.
Analysis of family bussines portfolio

I substantially evaluate a family business portfolio from the point of view of owners. The portfolio is a group of small companies with maximum 20 employees. Main goal of the thesis is design a strategic plan which enable owners to achieve their goals. Methods are adapted (their detail and complexity) for increasing probability of their successful implementation.
Co-operation of small municipalities and microregions in The Czech republic

In my master thesis I will focus on advantages of co-operation small villages and their expectant development. The theoretic part of thesis target the legislative and socioeconomic aspects of municipal co-operation. Principal aim is giving account of positive and negative impacts of function and next development of co-operation smaller municipalities and their staying in residential structure. Next part will be attended to association of municipalities and legal entities called Sdružení Růže. This is situated in the south part of Czech republic. I will analyze kinds of their activities and determinate limits and barriers of their development by socioeconomic analysis territory.
