Industrial property protection and international law

83 VIII. RESUMÉ International Protection of Industrial Rights Intellectual property is a dynamic area of law, flowering especially in the age of information society. Thanks to new technologies and mainly due to the use of Internet the local markets are becoming global. As intellectual property becomes more interconnected with other fields of law its importance keeps rising and so does the role of international regulation. Particular industry rights protection may be relied upon only when protected in all the countries of potential exploitation. International agreements relevant for this area of law are analysed in this work and emphasis is put on their main functions, which is the overcoming of the principle of territorial limitation and the guarantee of protection of the rights attained in one state by other states. The goal of my thesis is to provide an insight on the problematic of international regulation of intellectual property, analyse it from the legal point of view and reflect its significance in the light of actual social context. In order to fulfil this goal I have chosen to use the following methods: literature analysis, statistical analysis, comparative analysis and secondary analysis. Content and motivation of employees in Amrest s.r.o.

This dissertation is focused on the problematic of content and motivation of employees in a concrete firm and the problem of high fluctuation connected with it. In the theoretical part there are summarized basic knowledge from the sphere of motivation and work motivation, demonstrated the best known theories of motivation and leading styles; and summarized knowledge of The work life quality research which is related to value orientation of employees in the Czech Republic. In the practical part I have analyzed recent situation in workmen's content and motivation using a questionnaire enquiry among employees. The employees were asked about a importance of single aspects of content with work -- wage, supervisor behaviour, processing atmosphere, access to information, job stability, appreciation of attained results, service conditions, scope of employment, employee benefits and financial bonuses. From gained information I have summarized conclusions and recommendation for leading an organization.

Options of financing of housing needs

This bachelor work is focused on the problems of financing of housing needs. There is dedicated space to a short definition of housing needs, in the first chapter. The second chapter searches tools of housing financing in detail, building savings and mortgages. The last chapter contains analytical section. It focuses on interest rate and progress of agreed loans. This bachelor work acquaints readers with main aspects, conveniences and disadvantages. The purpose is also referring to questions of currently legislature, which is in many respects too restrictive.

The optimization of prints in company.

Cílem práce je rozebrat problematiku optimalizování tiskových úloh v podnicích. Konkrétně návrh jednotlivých kroků vedoucích k optimálnímu tiskovému řešení, optimalizace a správa tisku externí firmou, tzv. outsourcing. Práce se dělí na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se dále skládá ze tří částí. První část rozbírá vhodnost použití tiskových zařízení na základě jejich vlastností a funkcí. Cílem je zobecnit a usnadnit rozhodnutí jaký typ zařízení kde použít. Druhá část práce se věnuje vlastním krokům procesu optimalizace, měkkým i tvrdým faktorům, které mají na tiskové řešení vliv. Kroky jsou analyzovány na základě informací čerpaných převážně z elektronických zdrojů od firem, které se optimalizací tiskového prostředí přímo zabývají. Poslední teoretickou částí je kapitola věnovaná outsourcingu tiskového řešení. V práci jsou popsány výhody i nevýhody této možnosti. Závěrem jsou pak jmenovány největší firmy které se outsourcingu tiskového řešení v České Republice věnují. Poslední částí je praktická analýza tiskového řešení v konkrétním podniku ? Sudop Praha a.s. Na základě konzultací a praktickým seznámením se se stávajícím řešením jsou navrhnuty kroky, které by řešení zlepšily. Informace jsou čerpány převážně z elektronických zdrojů, praktická část je pak výsledkem osobní návštěvy a konzultací se zaměstnanci podniku Sudop Praha a.s.

Communication between the Android OS and Arduino Platform

This thesis deals with creating a library for the Android OS which enables efficient wireless communication with platform Arduino. The target is to create an application for Android OS, using a created library that allows you to capture data from various sensors and control effectors. The work describes basic wireless interfaces for Android OS and Arduino platform. The main benefits and drawbacks functions are also introduced. The comparison of current consumption for modules HM-10 and DIGI S1 has been carried out as well. Possibility of data acquisition and effector controlling exercises have been tested and verified.

Python programming language and the effectiveness of its inclusion in the teaching

The goal of the first part of this work is to summarize the basics of the Python programming language. Show how to create programs in Python, what are the modules, the basic data types, syntax and the possibility of approach to language. The second part will address the description of the initial programming courses, their objectives and what benefits it brings to teaching Python. Finally, then look at the (in)dependence on the Python platform for running and how to get from Python to another frequently used programming languages.

Transition of income taxation to taxation of consumption in the Czech Republic

Historically in the area of tax regimes an increased attention was focused on income tax. However, recent trends in theory and day-to-day practice suggest a worlwide shift toward taxation of consumption. It is generally assumed that collection of taxes through consumer tax is more efficient than through income tax burden. This document analyzes factors of consumer and income taxes in the Czech Republic since 1993 and assesses risk and benefits associated with transition between both taxes.

Diversity management

The theme of this bachelor thesis is diversity management - managing diversity in organizations. Diversity management is introduced as a concept, based on fight against discrimination, appreciating interindividual differences among people and brings organization a profit. The first part focuses on human rights, discrimination and equal opportunities. Definition interindividual differences - dimensions of diversity in the next chapter is an important prerequisite to understanding the essence of diversity management. Diversity management is primarily interested in groups of workers who are usually disadvantaged in organizations, these include mainly women, persons of other race or ethnicity, persons over 50 years and persons with disabilities. From the perspective of organization is very important an implementation of the concept in the organization and benefits and costs that relate to this process. Then this thesis in terms of organization focuses on how diversity management is reflected in personnel activities. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to situation of diversity management in the Czech Republic.

Změny obchodních modelů v souvislosti s aplikacemi mobilního obchodování

Práce vznikla jako reakce na masivní rozvoj mobilních technologií, přičemž většina podniků přistupuje k implementaci živelně, bez potřebné analýzy současného prostředí a bez realizace komplexních změn v jejich podnikání tak, aby využily všech výhod mobilního prostředí. Cílem práce je analyzovat možnosti podniků při aplikaci mobilního obchodování do jejich systémů a procesů. Práce ukazuje jak komplexně řešit změny v přístupu podniku, v jeho obchodních modelech, ve vztahu k projektům, procesům i zákazníkům tak, aby podniky maximálně využily potenciálu mobilního podnikání. Zároveň si klade za cíl být návodem pro implementaci mobilních řešení v podniku tak, aby podnik maximalizoval užitek ze zavedení mobilních řešení a zároveň tato řešení vycházela ze současného stavu a z potřeb podniku. Práce se zde soustřeďuje hlavně na změny procesů, metrik, personální politiky a architektury informačních systémů a poukazuje na faktory úspěšnosti mobilních projektů. Cílem práce je zároveň vyplnit mezeru v odborné literatuře, kdy ve většině prací chybí propojení technologického pohledu na obchodního, tedy mobilních technologií se zaměřením na jejich komerční využití v praxi a budoucí rozvoj těchto technologií opět s ohledem na jejich obchodní využití. Mezi další cíle patří vymezení terminologie mobilního podnikání a analýza silných a slabých stránek jednotlivých technologií pro jejich využití. Práce je členěna do tří logických částí, do části definiční, analytické a aplikační. V části definiční se na základě odborné literatury vymezuje předmět řešení a definují základní pojmy oblasti mobilního podnikání. Část závěrů a definic vznikla vlastním odvozením na základě dostupných teoretických zdrojů obchodních modelů, mobilního podnikání, či teorií internetového podnikání z univerzit v ČR, Evropě (zejména v Německu a Švýcarsku) i USA. Analytická část ukazuje současný stav mobilních technologií a zároveň i analýzu možností těchto technologií. Základem a přínosem je zde právě analýza těchto technologí a jejich vztah k jednotlivým obchodním modelům, jsou zde také hodnoceny i jednotlivé modely a jejich připravenost na mobilní obchodování. Součástí aplikační části je vlastní návrh konkrétních změn v podniku u jednotlivých obchodních modelů a to nikoliv pouze změn technologických, ale jejich integrace se změnami procesními, personálními a změnami metrik tak, aby se úspěšně implementovaly všechny výhody mobilního podnikání. Jádrem práce jsou tedy návrhy holistických změn v podniku. Tyto změny vychází z mých návrhů, které byly následně modifikovány pří práci ve fokusních skupinách projektových manažerů mobilních řešení, část (hlavně komplexní řešení změn) vychází z vlastních výzkumů a zkušeností, které byly následně prověřeny implementací v praxi v českých i mezinárodních podnicích. Celá tato doporučení jsou zasazena i do kontextu právního rámce a jsou zde zohledněny i významy pro jednotlivé faktory úspěšnosti imlplementace mobilních řešení u každého z obchodních modelů. Tyto faktory vycházejí z analýzy fokusních skupin a dotazování oborníků z praxe. Práce by tedy měla hlavně sloužit jako metodický podklad pro změnu v jednotlivých obchodních modelech podnikání a zároveň sloužit jako teoretický základ pro oblast mobilního podnikání a to zejména doplněním odborné literatury o chybějící témata.
