Assessment of thermal comfort in buildings
Procházka, Aleš ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis summarises knowleges about methods used for assessments of thermal comfort in buldings. In opening part of thesis is thermal comfort introduces as important part of overall satisfaction with indoor environment. There are also described fyziological basics and ways of thermoregulation and individual elements of thermal balance. Next part of thesis is focused on thermal and humidity factors of indoor environment. Some combinations of these factors form thermal comfort. Main part of thesis describes methods of assesments of thermal comfort using PMV and PPD indices. For practical uses there are examples of comfort diagrams, which are based on PMV index, Thermal Comfort Meter and Thermal Manikin. Last part contains description of some instruments for measurement of used physical values.
Design of experimental model of boiler
Kuba, Pavel ; Sikora, Michal (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of experimental model of boiler and identification of systems parameters. Model and measuring unit were designed on basis of research study. Data acquisition module NI USB-6216 was used to measure and transfer data to computer. Programe MATLAB was used to proces data.
Radiating shield for sensor outdoor temperature
Janáček, Adam ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis mentions methods for outside temperature measurement; each of this method is briefly described. Principles of outside temperature measurement, regarding placing of the temperature sensor, are shown. Importance of use of radiation shield for more precise measurement is pointed out. Radiation shield’s function and construction of aspirated and self-aspirated shield, as well as their main advantages and disadvantages are described. Market research then shows radiation shields made by their main manufacturers, each shield is briefly described. Two radiation shields, aspirated and self-aspirated, are designed, with respect to simple construction and knowledge gained during market research
SMV-2015-23: Development of a low temperature system for a spectroscopy
Urban, Pavel ; Hanzelka, Pavel
The system for measurement of temperature of solid and liquid samples for spectroscopic measurement in the range of 77 K - 300 K was designed. For the above mentioned system, the pump vacuum line was designed and analysed for pumping of vacuum spaces of two types of liquid nitrogen cryostats used for spectroscopic measurements. The part of the solution is design of temperature sensor positions and an electrical resistance heater for the sample temperature stabilisation. Furthermore, an electrical resistance heater for heating/outgassing of the vacuum pump line was designed.
Surface temperature measurements by IR camera
FUKA, Miloš
The master's thesis is devoted to the history and performance of non-contact temperature measurement, characterization of infrared cameras and infrared thermometers. Temperature is one of the most important physical quantities. Using an infrared camera we obtain information about the surface temperature in all picture. In the master's thesis is included the measurement and capturing the fatal defects on the punched billet, finding out the quality of temperature field and the quality of the overlapping work rolls. During the measurements were used infrared cameras TIM200, TIM400 from the company Micro-Epsilon and infrared cameras SC325, SC660 from the company Flir.
Comparison of non-contact temperature measurement during maturation of compost measurement using surface and recessed sensors
BLAHOUT, Jaroslav
The topic of the bachelor 's thesis is focuses on the comparison of the results obtained by contact measurement sensors and infrared (thermal imaging) camera. Their mutual comparison of the different stages of the composting process and determine the most appropriate method of obtaining information on the temperature of the fill. The information thus gathered should help to streamline their own process of composting. The object of this work isn 't the evaluation or monitoring of composting process.
The dynamics of temperature in birdboxes
Slavíková, Z. ; Žalud, Z. ; Bartošová, Lenka ; Fischer, Milan ; Trnka, Miroslav
The aim of the study was to detect the changing temperature in bird boxes of two bird species-collared flycatcher (Ficedula albicollis, T.) and great tit (Parus major, L.). The work is the result of the monitoring of nesting bird species for two years (2009 and 2010) by temperature sensors. Data was continuously recorded for several different breeding pairs with the micro-datalogers MINIKIN. Temperature sensors were fixed directly into the nest with eggs and also in the upper part of bird boxes or outside the boxes. Temperature data was then processed and analyzed. Experimental work was carried out in a floodplain forest in nature reserve Plačkův les a říčka Šatava near Vranovice, altitude: 170; latitude: 48°56´54´´; longitude: 16°35´50´´. The forest is dominated by full-grown, multi-aged canopy with no forestry management. Experimental site belongs to the same natural biogeocenoses group (i.e. Ulmi-fraxineta carpini) and to the same geobotanical group (i.e. suballiance Ulmenion of the Alnion incanae alliance). Our initial hypothesis assumed that the temperature of eggs in the nest and also the time spent in the bird boxes by both bird species (collared flycatcher and great tit) do not differ significantly. The results showed that during the period when the eggs were layed (by both bird species) the temperature were significantly however the temperature of eggs of collared flycatcher and great tit during the period of incubation were very.
Sledování změn krajinného prostředí prostřednictvím analýz multispektrálních satelitních dat v okolí jaderné elektrárny Temelín
Jihočeská univerzita v Českých Budějovicích, Zemědělská fakulta, České Budějovice ; Vácha, Aleš ; Havelka, Ladislav ; Pechar, Libor ; Brom, Jakub ; Procházka, Jan ; Hais, Martin ; Pecharová, Emilie
Cílem studie je: 1. Terénní monitoring teplotně-vlhkostních parametrů krajinného krytu na lokalitách zemědělských kultur a lesních porostů sledovaných v předchozích letech; 2. Pořízení a zpracování dvou družicových scén družice Landsat TM 5 z hlediska teplotně-vlhkostních parametrů krajinného krytu; 3.
Simultaneous measurement of velocity and temperature with two-sensor hot-wire probe
Antoš, Pavel
The paper deals with simultanenous measurement of both velocity and temperature by means of two sensor hot-wire probe. The effect of dynamic adjustment on the behaviour of constant-temperature anemometer at low overheats is crucial.
