Means of communication and their use at schools for pupils with hearing impairment in Prague and Munich

The presented diploma thesis deals with the means of communication (sign language, signed language, written language, finger alphabet, etc.) used by teachers in schools for pupils with hearing impairment in Prague and Munich. The work is interested in the topic of related educational approaches, which schools, or teachers use, and what means of communication they prefer. Using observation methods and questionnaires, it wants to find out what or who leads the educators to the chosen communication means and what they think about their own communication competencies. In addition, it compares the current situation of this issue at the elementary schools for the hearing impaired in Prague and Bavarian Munich. The first chapter focuses on which kind of pupils are attending schools for the hearing impaired and what are the possibilities for communication. The second chapter deals with approaches to the education of pupils with hearing impairment. In addition to basic approaches (oral, total, bilingual) describes the approach by American linguist D. A. Stewart, which was developed for the needs of the classroom. Efficiency of communication channels in a group of external employees.

This Master thesis describes the internal communication in the group of external employees and focuses to the analysis of the effectiveness of two main communication channels in particular department of the organization. At first it describes internal communication in the field of virtual teams. Then it looks at the situation in the department of content in specific internet market. The main part is the study of efficiency of the communication channels, especially of the changes in the effectiveness after four-month hiatus in use. To perform the investigation the company internal data analysis was used. At the end, the thesis evaluates the phenomena studied.
Media as a tool of internal communication in the ICT sector

The diploma thesis Medium as a tool of internal communication in the ICT sector maps and analyzes the spectrum of media used in internal communication by companies that operate in the field of information and communication technologies. The thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part presents the theoretical literature review and provides the basis for subsequent analytical research. This section focuses on the description of internal communication as a field of inquiry and subsequently each communication channel and the media used in internal communication. The second part consists of a description of the methodology used for this study. The third part focuses on the presentation of data obtained from both qualitative (in-depth interviews) and quantitative research (statistical evaluation of the response of the electronic questionnaire) . The fourth part, discussion, is devoted to the analysis of the data obtained, comparing them with the theoretical part and at the same time, the author answers the research questions and sub-questions of this study.
Social communication

The work deals with social communication. Basic formal work arrangements is conducted from the theoretical anchoring the topic of practical knowledge in the field of social communication youth. The space here is devoted to the definition of social communication, comparing her relation with interaction and by negotiation, further then her frame (communication act, actors, communication channels - communication media, functions and purpose of the communication). For orientation deals with social communication, socialization of youth in the family, school and friends. Paies also free time youth and his usage. Followed by a section containing the results of my own empirical investigation and comparison with previous studies.This part is devoted to my own case study of the social communication of youth in chosen Kolínsko region. It detects means of communication used by youth, it deals with the question whether the youth prefer the possibilities of personal communication or the usage of modern means of communication; which communication topics they use with their friends and which they use with their parents and what is the purpose of communication with different types of communicators (parents / friends). Information and Communication Technologies - Economic and Social Aspects

This work is focused on the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the 21st century and their social and economic aspects. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the history of the nowadays commonly used information and communication technologies, such as personal computer, mobile phone and internet. The second chapter describes the development of ICT in the context of individuals, households and businesses. The third section focuses on information economy with regard to the events in the ICT sector, expenditures, investments and foreign commerce with ICT. The next chapter studies social networks in detail, as strong marketing and economic instruments and further studies their development up to the present form. The fifth chapter deals with the positive and negative social and economic aspects of ICT and their combination. The main question of this paper is whether the benefits of ICT outweigh the negatives, now and in the future. The analysis of the paper comes to the conclusion that, the positives still prevail but it will be needed to minimize the negative impacts of ICT in the social field in the future and make the Internet safer.
Social communication

The work deals with social communication. Its main task is to structure the subject and to apply the social communication analysis focused on youth group. In its first part, the theme is conceived in general. It defines the term and its place in sociology and other social sciences. The work characterizes a framework of social communication (communicative act, participants, communication channel). It also describes the division of communication means and their possibilities. It analyzes the content and styles of communication process, functions and purpose of social communication. It also discusses the factors that affect communication (communication context, the means used for communication, participating persons and social environment). The second part is devoted to my own case study of the social communication of youth in chosen Kolínsko region.
