Design of Data Structures using RDFS/OWL
Horáková, Linda ; Dudáš, Marek (advisor) ; Mynarz, Jindřich (referee)
The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to explore possibilities and advantages of publishing statistical data on Semantic Web according to Linked Data Principles. In theoretical part readers are familiarized with basic features of Semantic Web, principles and options of publishing Linked Data. The thesis is mainly focused on an analysis of existing vocabularies used for description of statistical data, especially in the field of public spending. The outcome of the analysis is the statement that general vocabularies are more suitable for description of statistical data, because they provide wider possibilities than proprietary ontologies. The result of the analysis was verified by the draft concept of data structure describing the field of public spending, which is based on general Data Cube Vocabulary. The practical part of the thesis also contains construction of SPARQL query which can be used for automatic transformation of current data to the shape that is suitable to the new data structure.

Startup On-Line Dashboard
Pecsérke, Róbert ; Skála, František (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze, design and develop a web application that allows registered users to create an email account with a random name - dropbox. Users can either redirect emails generated by other services or send their emails to the dropboxes. The application searches for specific data in these emails and to visualize their change over time. This thesis also verifies the interest of users of this type of service.

Genetická struktura populací lína Tinca tinca (Linnaeus, 1758)
Lajbner, Zdeněk ; Linhart, Otomar ; Kotlík, Petr
The tench is an important fish for aquaculture, which is undergoing intensive domestication, but only few studies have examined genetic structure of its populations. We present first results of a phylogeographic study based on DNA sequence data for four nuclear genes and one mitochondrial DNA gene from throughout the tench geographical distribution, including some of the known transfers outside its native Eurasian range. The multiple gene dataset revealed a strong phylogeographic partitioning between the western and eastern parts of the species range with a wide zone of overlap in Europe. Tench in European aquaculture largely represent mixtures of the two evolutionary lineages. We will discuss the likely historical processes underlying these findings. We suggest that human-mediated dispersal may have played an important role in shaping the present phylogeographic pattern.

Sociology of dance. Differences of audience by classical and alternative dance performance
Zilvarová, Daniela ; Buriánek, Jiří (referee) ; Duffková, Jana (advisor)
Sociology of dance is one of the young and marginal disciplines of sociology. The reason is that its topic - dance - hasn't been a subject of any scientifical attention yet. Systematic research has developed since 1980s mainly in Great Britain, where Helen Thomas is considered to be the greatest authority in the field of sociology of dance. Because of only recent development of this science, there are many topics that haven't been explored yet. Such is the case of dance audience, which makes an important part of theatrical dance. The topic of my thesis is therefore the research of dance audience. I would like to compare spectators of two different types of theatrical dance - ballet and contemporary dance. For the research I have chosen the most important dance theaters which represent both dance types - the National Theatre for ballet and the Ponec Theatre as a scene for contemporary dance. The easiest, cheapest and most effective method of collecting data was to use a questionnaire, which was distributed to everyone who entered the theatre. Finally I had the opportunity to analyze data from 737 respondents.

Analysis of relationship between distribution of pharmacies and economic and demographic factors
Havlík, Karel ; Brožová, Dagmar (advisor) ; Čermáková, Klára (referee)
This thesis main focus is to test the existence of relationship between number of pharmacies in a region and its properties. On data panel spanning over period from 2005 to 2012 in 73 regions, totaling to 578 observations I based econometric model. Average percent of sick leaves, share of pension recipients, share of doctors, the number of parts of village, and population density have been found to be statistically significant. Based on the model, implementation of regulatory fee per prescription was not statistically significant toward the number of pharmacies, even though it affected amount of prescriptions that were used in 2008. Impact of income was not analyzed due to lack of data.

Near field of the dipole antennas
Beran, Vlastimil ; Tkadlec, Roman (referee) ; Nováček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis describes the radiation of dipole antennas in near field area. More methods for evaluation of spatial dipole field arrangement are compared. The work target for practical use is to create software for simulation of near field values placed in planar or cylindrical observation plane. The computer programme is applicable to single dipole or dipole array. The limits for human body exposition of non-ionizing radiation are here implemented for compliance purpose in hygienic evaluations. The simulated results of field distribution are possible to display as graphs or save to data file. The results of own calculation are compared with results obtained by some commercial software as well by measurement of field components under model conditions.

Feasibility Study of an Interactive Medical Diagnostic Wikipedia
Grim, Jiří
Considering different application possibilities of product distribution mixtures we have proposed three formal tools in the last years, which can be used to accumulate decision-making know-how from particular diagnostic cases. First, we have developed a structural mixture model to estimate multidimensional probability distributions from incomplete and possibly weighted data vectors. Second, we have shown that the estimated product mixture can be used as a knowledge base for the Probabilistic Expert System (PES) to infer conclusions from definite or even uncertain input information. Finally we have shown that, by using product mixtures, we can exactly optimize sequential decision-making by means of the Shannon formula of conditional informativity. We combine the above statistical tools in the framework of an interactive open-access medical diagnostic system with automatic accumulation of decision-making knowledge.

Technological, economical and ecological aspects of dry machining
Vostřel, Josef ; Csölle Putzová, Ildikó (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Using of process liquids improves the procedure and results of machining, on the other hand, increases costs and raises some ecological and hygienic issues. In the work there is gradually analyzed mechanism of chip formation, progress and distribution of heat and thermal fields as well as economic and ecological aspects of dry machining and influence of dry machining on durability of tools. In the experimental part there are evaluated data which were measured during the drilling of cylindrical workpiece with regards to progress of workpiece thermal fields while using various kind of tool coating. In the final part there are stated recommendations for practice.

Optimization Models for Strategical Decision Making
Ulverová, Michaela ; Škapa, Stanislav (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis deals with possibilities of mathematical modeling for public university budgets. Firstly, external conditions of public university financial inflows are discussed and~illustrated by using particular data. The related basic legislature is introduced. In~the~next part, internal financial flows are described the help of a general scheme. Step-by-step, a mathematical model of the university budget was built with using analysis of existing data, rules and formulas. The proposed model represents nonlinear multi–stage scenario-based stochastic programme, involving linear and network-flow like constraints. It allows to take into account more objective functions and related parametric analysis. The model was implemented in the algebraic modeling system GAMS with~interface to MS Excel. The aim of the presented mathematical model was not to offer a tool that would be used for automatic distribution of financial resources of the university, but to give flexible possibilities to its user to realize computational experiments and in this way to achieve a deeper insight into the modeled problem.

Deposition and analysis of DLC thin films
Rudolf, Miroslav ; Čech, Vladimír (referee) ; Šikola, Tomáš (advisor)
Diplomová práce nastiňuje problémy spojené s výrobou a analýzou tenkých vrstev DLC:H.
