Methods: A quantitative method was chosen for the research, in the form of a questionnaire. It was based on a previously conducted study in the field of youth sports. Specifically, it is Fun Intergration Theory, which examines the determinants of fun. Results: The most important and most common dimensions of fun are: Positive team dynamics, Positive Coaching and Trying Hard. The least important and least frequent dimension is with a big difference Style. The most important determinant Having a coach who is a positive role model. The determinant of Earning medals or trophies was the least important, which also has the lowest frequency of occurrence. There are certain patterns among the perceptions of parents, coaches and players, especially in the dimensions of Positive Coaching, Trying Hard and Game Time Support. Motivation in sport: Relationship to global self-esteem and physical self-perception
Harbichová, Ivana ; Slepička, Pavel (advisor) ; Štochl, Jan (referee) ; Pavelková, Isabella (referee)
The main objective of this thesis is to verify the relationship of the contextually specific motivation in sport to a global self-esteem and possible mediation effects of the physical self-perceptions in this relationship. To achieve this objective six individual studies were conducted. First, we focused on the translation of diagnostic instruments: the Sport Motivation Scale (SMS; Pelletier et al., 1995) and the Social Physique Anxiety Scale (SPAS; Hart, Leary, Rejeski, 1989) into the Czech language. Next, the validity and reliability of the scores obtained by Czech versions of the instruments were examined. Based on the results of the structural equation modeling and using a known-difference evidence validity approach we concluded that both translated instruments may be useful as a valid and reliable diagnostic tools for measuring different kinds of motivation in sport (SMS) and negative physical self-perception (social physical anxiety - SPAS). Using structural equation modeling, we also concluded that different types of motivation in sport (which vary in degree of relative autonomy of the subject) affect specific self-esteem associated with the body, as well as the evaluation of one's self at the global level. Relationship of the sport motivation and the global self-esteem was largely mediated...
Use of Modern Technologies in Physical Education at Schools
Palička, Pavel ; Fialová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Mužík, Vladislav (referee) ; Bureš, Vladimír (referee)
Pavel Palička - Use of Modern Technologies in Physical Education at Schools Abstract Problem: The use of digital technologies in education is one of the possibilities how to support the pupils' motivation. Physical education (PE) offers a variable environment where various types of actual wearable technology (smart phone, tablet etc.) can be used. No integrated overview of possibilities and practical recommendations for the use of available digital technologies (DT) in physical education has been published. There is also lack of research results measuring impact of their use on everyday school practice. Hypothesis: It was hypothesized that pupils who receive innovated experimental education programme using digital technologies will have better relationship to PE and greater intrinsic motivation to exercise. Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify changes in intrinsic motivation and relationship to physical activity in physical education triggered by an experimental DT- involving education programme. Methods: The research was carried out in form of a quasi-experiment conducted in physical education lessons in school years 6-9. The research sample (N=237) consisted of two groups. A group of 119 pupils in experimental lessons was compared with a control group of 118 pupils who went through...

Šimáček, Pavel ; Pavelka, Radim (advisor) ; Zdobinský, Adam (referee)
Titleofwork: Combat sports motivation. Workobjective: The aim of this diploma thesis is to determine motives for participating in certain combat sports and to examine if the individual combat sports vary from each other or whether there is a common motive. The further objective is to examine a motive for combat sports in general. Usedmethods: The diploma thesis is designed as a quantitative research using a questionnaire survey. To compile the anonymous questionnaire, the international multidimensional standardized questionnaire The Sport Motivation Scale "SMS-28" was used. The standardized questionnaire was supplemented by questions to determine the sex, age and type of combat sport. The data acquired were then statistically evaluated using pivot tables and research questions were acquired by Pareto analysis. Results: It was discovered that the most important component of motivation for combat sports in general is the inner motivation to experience, on the contrary, the least important for the respondents was the external regulation. The individual combat sports differentiated then by a different spectrum of motivation. However, there were three combat sports, in particular, karate, MMA and judo, which had common type of motivation, particularly to experience the inner motivation. Regarding...

Hamada, Martin ; Harbichová, Ivana (advisor) ; Teplan, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Motivation football players under influence of level of competition and loading level Objectives: The first aim of this study is to describe the motivation of football players. The second aim is to find out how players' motivational structure changes depending on the level of gaming. The third aim of the thesis is to verify the hypotheses regarding the motivation structure and their changes on the set criteria. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study. The data was obtained using the Czech version of the Sport motivation scale. Relationships between motivation and the monitored variables (belonging to the given team - level of competition, gaming load) were evaluated using the Spearman correlation coefficient. Comparison of motivation at clubs at different levels of competition was performed using the t-test. By comparison, the data were compared with the results of other relevant studies. Results: On a given sample (n = 50), we found a correlation of the positive and the negative direction. At the alpha level of 0.1, a negative amortization correlation was found at the descending team level (R = 0.26; p-value = 0.07). A similar result was given by the result of the t-test, when we found a significant difference between the players from AC Sparta Praha and non-selective clubs (T = 2.8;...
Flow and procrastination
Novakovska, Kateryna ; Franková, Emilie (advisor) ; Kolářová, Jana (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the connection between procrastination, the mental state called flow and creativity. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of this thesis is focusing on finding a connection between creativity and flow and creativity and procrastination. To explore this phenomenon, we decided to focus mainly on students of the University of Economics Prague. The research consists of a questionnaire and a Guilford test of creativity. Chosen research methods and obtained data will be analyzed in the practical part of the thesis. In the end of this work, we will try to give some recommendations and outline possible ways of the future research of this issue.
