Crisis assistance at the Police of the Czech Republic

This bachelor's thesis introduces its readers with term of crisis and with term of crisis assistance as the crisis intervention or first psychic aid, when, however there the crisis assistance of the Police of the Czech Republic represent the key part of the work with an emphasis on their evaluation in terms of standards of psychosocial assistance and cooperation. The aim of this thesis is to show the differentiation in the field of care of the members of Police of the Czech Republic, using literature, whereas, as regards the comparation, the professional psychological care and the standards of psychosocial assistance have the considerable task.
Forms of family-school cooperation in primary school

This diploma thesis deals with the forms of cooperation between parents and school in the school programme Step by Step. The theoretical part investigates family and school as an educational institutions and describes its historical evolution and on-going trends in a mutual communication between family and school. The major source of the Diploma Thesis is the Programme Step by Step. The theoretical part is focused on 2 basic standards critical for the quality of cooperation between school and family. Programme documents are compared both. The empiric part presents an action research focused on "Learning Agreements" as a one of the family- school cooperation. It deals with the "Learning Agreement" implementation in a certain school named X. It investigates its contribution for its contribution for children, parents, teachers and mutual cooperation. Interducing the quality of social services Standards

Resume The disertation is conceived as a case study focused on the influence of introducing the quality standards of social services in a daily centre for people with mental and combined disability. It deals with the theoretical outline of the issues, particularly The Law of Social Services n. 108/2006 in the current version of later phrasing and amendment, and the quality standards of social services in relation to mentally disabled people. It also concerns with the formation of the Diakonie of the Czech Protestant Church, the Ratolest Centre in Prague and the evaluation of practical results of the introducing of the quality standards of social services in daily work of the concerned centre from the point of its staff and ordinary practice. The work on the standards in Ratolest Centre can be devided in three main stages. The first stage concerns the years 2004-2007, when the standards were intensely but not continually worked on. The work was primarily organized by one member of the staff and the management of the Centre. In this phase it meant mainly changes of practical dealing and communication with the clients. TITLE: Analysis of the evaluation criteria of kindergarten headmasters by founders in Pardubicky region AUTHOR: Bc. Lenka Marková DEPARTMENT: School management centre SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Jiří Trunda ABSTRACT: This thesis analyzes the current criteria for evaluating the work of kindergarten headmasters. The criteria were created by community representatives as founders of the kindergarten. The thesis also focuses on identifying indicators leading to the fulfillment of the evaluation criteria. Monitoring headmasters views on the current criteria, which they are valued, is the part of research. Through the analysis criteria, surveys and informal interviews with representatives of the founders and headmasters the deficiencies in the structure and list of criteria were found. The research has shown inconsistency and formality outlined evaluation criteria with absence of their indicators. Based on the findings was recommended evaluation criteria to include all areas of the kindergarten headmasters. Indicators, that show the way to meet the criteria, were also suggested. Compliance with legislation by healthcare professionals in the ICU

The topic of this diploma thesis is the compliance with legislation in an area of competencies of general nurses and special nurses working in intensive care units (ICU). The aim of the investigation was to map out, how nurses in the ICU comply with legislation in the area of their competencies and whether their work is influenced by anything. The results showed two trends - situation within a specific unit, that means whether nurses contravene their competencies; whether nurses are aware about their competencies and about competencies of doctors and in addition why nurses are contravening their competencies and what is the opinion of doctors on compliance of competencies for medical professionals, what is the position of management towards contravention of competencies by nurses . Furthermore, the situation overall, that means existence of further regulatory measures, which impact on the conduct of nurses within units. On the basis of those findings the following recommendations are made for leaders of department. The Science in Intended Curriculum and Framework Documents in Selected Countries

The main aim of this study is to enrich the discourse on developing an intended form of the science curriculum in different country contexts. A multi-case study research design uses methods of content and comparative analysis to find answers to the research questions. The empirical part of the thesis consists of single case studies of England, Finland, Scotland and the United States of America containing contexts of the current curriculum development, description and interpretation of analysed structural and content phenomena in the curriculum of primary (ISCED 1) and secondary education (ISCED 2). Based on the single case studies of curricula, a comparative multi-case study is conducted, which focuses on the identification and interpretation of common and different features in the structure and content of the curricula to be compared. The studied documents can be divided into competency- oriented and subject-oriented curricula, nevertheless, each curriculum contains elements of both approaches. The subject content of the contemporary curricula seems to be more elaborated or at least more detailed than in documents of the previous decade. The thesis "The Evaluation of University Education Quality: The Comparison of the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan" disputes about quality evaluation system in university education area in the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan. During the elaboration of this thesis several analyses were made: the qualitative analysis of the documents from the area of education quality assurance; analysis of the internal and external evaluation of university education quality and the analysis of actors. In conclusion are presented the recommendations for governmental level of decision making process and the university network.
Optical fiber polygon for testing of services

Bachelor’s thesis describes the types of optical fibers, their structures and properties. The basic parameters of optical fibers and standards for single-mode fibers are defined. The differences between the various connectors and the polishing of the ferrules are also described. The next section describes the multichannel transmission technology and its modifications, as well as the FFTx technology. In the next part, the work deals with measurements on optical fibers, the most common measurement methods are listed. The reader will learn what to do and also what not to do when manipulating with optical elements. The attached diagrams show the test polygon, as well as the measured and calculated values of the attenuation of its parts.

The bachelor thesis deals with the application of standards in international youth, not-for-profit organisation, AIESEC. The first part describes the profile of the or-ganisation and also general standards that the organization has determined to adhere towards to customers. Following the theoretical part and in correlation with questionnaire, it was evaluated if the standards are applied. At the same time thanks to interview with one of the leading members of AIESEC Czech Republic, recommendations of improvement were suggested.

This Bachaleor thesis aims to how corporate organization implementing theirs global CSR strategy on local level and if this strategy reflects regional needs and indicates regional development. The first half of the theoretic part was dedicates on characterising concept CSR which involves definitions, triple bottom line, its historical evolution of concept and chosen standards. The second part focuses on CSR advantages, critics and implementation CSR in Czech Republic. The practical part explores the CSR strategy of IKEA and activities on global scale. Local activities are analysis with chosen indicator which measures level of implementation CSR strategies of IKEA. Their results are used for a recommendation to management of IKEA to optimize regions sustainable development.Formula clause:
