The bachelor thesis named Marketing of brands - Ice Hockey World Championship 2015 is focused on the description of communication and marketing activities of brands which were connected as official sponsors and official partners with the Ice Hockey World Championship 2015 held in the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical one concentrates on description of sport marketing and sponsoring, it also describes marketing activities of brands used by companies in their campaigns. The practical part is focused on the Ice Hockey World Championship 2015. The structure of the sponsorship related to the championship is explained, the categorization of the sponsors (main official sponsor, official sponsor and official partner) is described and all the official sponsors and partners of the championship are listed along with an outline of the rules they had to follow and the advantages and the rights they had. The description of the communication and marketing activities of selected official sponsors and partners of the championship follows. We will use this offer, look for the strengths and weaknesses and modify the offer in the process. Methods: First Method will be searching documents important for creating the offer and their analysis. Then we will use the information to create the offer, we will choose communication strategy. Title: Motivations and objectives of the Czech Olympic team partners Supervisor: Mgr. William Crossan PhD Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to identify motivations of companies for entering into partnership with the Czech Olympic team. Furthermore, to examine objectives sought through the sponsorship agreement and determine their importance for each company. Findings are subsequently compared with those of similar studies made in past. Part of this thesis is dedicated to the analysis of marketing of the Czech Olympic committee and partners opinion concerning the Olympic park Sochi - Letná 2014. Methods: Qualitative research through semi-structured interviews conducted with sponsor representatives and the marketing director of the Czech Olympic committee. In-depth study of similarly oriented sponsor motivation research was also made. Sponsors were also asked to rank the importance of given sponsorship objectives. Results: The main motivation behind the decision to become a Czech Olympic team partner was found to be the connection with a strong, unique brand, as well as the desire to exploit the positive perception of the Olympic attributes with the possibility of its transfer to the partner. Title: Organisation of international competition in synchronized swimming Christmas Prize 2012 Objective: The main aim of my bachelor's work is to analyse the event organisation, to find its flaws and to propose how to improve it. The partial goal is to present synchronised swimming to public. Methods: As the methods of my research I used descriptive analysis, questionnaires, informal interview. Results: The research has showed that as far as organisation, technology and performace were concerned, the event was very high quality. The greatest weakness was proven to be the pool, which did not have the required capacity. Secondly, the matter of finance could have been more improved. Revenues of the Organising Committees of the Summer Olympic Games

Title: Revenues of the Organising Committees of the Summer Olympic Games Objectives: The main objective of this work is an analysis of the main revenues of the particular Organising Committees of the Summer Olympic Games. The ticketing is primarily analyses in this work. The second objective is to adjust and calculate a mechanism for transfer of currency. Values in national currencies are converted to CZK 2010, these values reflect the true value of what would have been payable in 2010 if the Olympics Games were held in the Czech Republic. Methods: The work uses methods of secondary analysis of documents for the data collection. The basic aggregate consist of the Summer Olympic games held 1896-2008, the estimates from London (2012) and Prague (2016,2020) are add to comparison. Variables are: revenues of the OVOH, revenues from television rights, revenues from a sponsorship, revenues from the TOP, revenues from ticketing, the average price of the sold ticket, the most expensive and the cheapest tickets at the Opening ceremony and number of the total sold tickets. Current resources and opportunities of public libraries funding in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to describe and evaluate the current situation regarding the funding of public libraries in the Czech Republic. The introduction comprises a concise definition of the legislative framework for funding public libraries. In the main section of the work the author deals with the system of libraries providing public library and information services and how these libraries can be established. Then the analysis of the financial resources that can be used by these libraries follows, i.e. grants by founders, national and international programs and projects to support libraries, fundraising, donating, sponsoring, patronage, volunteering, grants by foundations, libraries' own business. There is also a description of pricing and financial policy, analysis of the financial management of libraries in various regions and the influence of the economic crisis on library budgets. The main part of the thesis related to the whole Czech Republic is followed by the part aimed only at the Central Bohemian. Satisfaction and Development of Sponsorship in Czech Freeskiing

The Aim: The main aim of this work is to give a summary of conditions for freeskiing sponsoring, to find out what the sponsors expect from riders to achieve and keep up sponsoring, also what kind of support riders expect from their sponsor and what they are able to do for it. Analyses of general development and the number of companies participating in freeskiing is another aim of this work. The Method: The necessary facts was get from question-form sent through the internet to the all sponsored new-school freeskiing riders. The similar question- forms were sent to the team managers of the sponsoring companies or distributors. The Results: Both riders and sponsors are fairly satisfied with sponsoring, but it is necessary to avoid relatively major mistakes and defects for the perfect cooperation. If the communication side was better, the situation would be surely much better too.

Sponsorship in the Sports Industry

The main purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to analyse the sponsorship of football clubs in the Czech Republic. The analysis includes all football clubs that were playing the National Football League in the season 2013/2014. The work in its theoretical part focuses on general definitions, goals and types of sponsorship. In following chapters it is focused on sponsorship in sport from its beginning, its goals and types and the most important part, which is the supply for sponsors. In the end of the theoretical part, the work focuses on legislation of sponsorship. The practical part was based on quantitative approach as questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was sent to all of 16 clubs playing the National football league while there was necessity to get back at least 60%, which is 10. The questions in the questionnaire were structured to represent the theoretical part of this work and also to show how the sponsorship work in practice. The results are discussed and deeply interpreted. Thanks to results achieved, in the end of this work there are general suggestions for football clubs in the framework of sponsorship and also summarizing of conclusions.
