A Company Performance Evaluation Using the START Model

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the performance of the company BRA-VUR, a.s. using the START Model, based on the EFQM Excellence Model. The theoretical part of the thesis defines quality, performance, and company performance measurement methods. The content of the analytical section is to evaluate the current situation in the company using the START Model and selected financial analysis indicators. The results of this assessment are used in the final part of the work, which is to propose measures to improve the performance of the company and to shift forward on its way to excellence.
Performance Evaluation of a Selected Business Corporation Using the Start Model

The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the performance of a selected company using the START Model. The introductory part is dedicaded to clarifying the theoretical basis, basic concepts and the method of measuring performance. The analytical part introduces the evaluated organization, conducts a survey using the selected model and according to the results are interpreted strengths and areas for improvement. In the last section, based on the outputs of the analysis, measures are proposed to increase the company's performance.
Performance Assessment of the Selected Company according to Model Start and Proposals for the Improvement

The bachelor thesis analyzes the performance of a selected company using the START model. In the first part I explain the theoretical basis, which concerns the field of multi-criteria models. The analytical part introduces and evaluates, based on the START model, the current state of the selected company, then identifies the strengths and opportunities for improvement that the company should target in its future direction. In the next part, for some opportunities for improvement, there are proven solutions leading to increasing the performance of the company.
The influence of formative assessment on the self-assessment of pupils in the teaching of informatics at primary schools

The diploma thesis deals with the question of what are the differences in self-assessment among pupils who worked with formative assessment and those who were assessed by a teacher and assed with a regular classification. The target group were students of the secondary school the studied subject was Computer Science. The goal of the thesis was to find out how the introduction of formative assessment into teaching will affect the student's self-evaluation. In the theoretical part, the author defines key terms with an emphasis on types of school assessment, student peer assessment, self-assessment and classification. It also touches on the teaching of IVT at the lower secondary school from the perspective of the framework education program and the school education program. For the research was chosen a qualitative research strategy - the peer observation technique. The research took place in parallel in the class 8.A, where the pupils were monitored and evaluated by the teacher during the half-term, and only at the end of the semester they received self-evaluation questionnaires to fill out. Developing formative assessment in a kindergarten: action research

This thesis addresses the issue of formative assessment in the kindergarten environment, aiming to systematize the application of formative assessment techniques and tools in preschool educationand enhance cooperationwith parents. The theoretical part delineates the development of children's identity, the significance of self-concept in preschool, and its alignment with the Framework Curriculum for Preschool Education. It also explores motivation, assessment, potential formative assessment techniques for preschool education, and underscores the importance of formative assessment in the Strategy for Education Policy of the Czech Republic 2030+. The final chapter delves into cooperation with parents and its contribution to children's education. The empirical part is structured as action research, involving the diagnosis of the current state of formative assessment in a selectedkindergarten. Introduction of teacher-parent-pupil consultations in primary school

The Master's thesis entitled "Implementation of Parent-Teacher-Student Consultations in Primary Education" focuses on the systematic reflection during the implementation of consultations among teachers, parents, and students. The author, in the theoretical part, examines the relationship between the family and the school, along with their collaboration, taking into account the historical development of these institutions. An important aspect is also the exploration of the impact of feedback on students and the positive effects of this interaction on their education and personal growth. In the practical part of the thesis, the author, in the role of a teacher and an active participant, evaluates each cycle of consultations with the aim of advancing her professional development. Through action research, she observes the evolution of her own practice in implementing tripartite consultations. Research questions are posed, and the author reflects on her progress and acquired knowledge through a pedagogical diary. The author tries to bring readers closer to the year-long process in which pupils take their educational journey into their own hands. The aim of the diploma thesis is to explore the system of interconnected and supporting steps that contribute to the efficiency of the entire process. In the theoretical part, the author focuses on the main components of the entire system, which support the resulting efficiency and the fulfillment of the goal, their implementation and evaluation with pupils. In the second, empirical part, the author describes, compares and evaluates individual systems at several different schools. Performance Assessment of the Selected Company according to Model Start Plus and Proposals for the Improvement

This master’s thesis deals with the performance evaluation of a selected company using one of the evaluation models, specifically the Start Plus model. The work is based on theoretical knowledge related to the given model. Based on this model, an analysis of the company was carried out, the output of which was the identification of the company's strengths and weaknesses and areas for improvement. At the end of the thesis, measures are proposed that are based on these areas and should lead to an increase in the performance of the company's evaluation.
Student Self-assessment of English Language Level

v anglickém jazyce This thesis deals with the self-assessment of the level of English language of upper-secondary school pupils (ISCED 3). Self-assessment questions are often used in pedagogical research, both in the Czech Republic and at the international level (e.g. PISA, TIMSS, ICILS). At the same time, they often contain a rating scale for recording the answer. However, for a direct comparison of the answers obtained, all respondents must understand both the question asked and individual points on the scale in the same way. Literature and research deal with heterogeneity in reporting behavior or differential item functioning. One possible solution is the anchoring vignette method. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the differences in adjusted and unadjusted subjective self-assessments of respondents. The theoretical part consists of two chapters. In the first chapter, different levels of knowledge of language skills and their possible measurement methods are discussed. One of the methods is self-assessment, which is defined in the work and the issue of the incomparability of respondents' statements is presented.
