The reflection on the stalinist period as a friction between the Russian State and the Memorial movement
Černoušek, Štěpán ; Svoboda, Karel (advisor) ; Kolenovská, Daniela (referee)
The bachelor thesis The reflection on the Stalinist period as a friction between the Russian State and the Memorial movement follows changes in the interpretation of Soviet repressions (especially from the period of Stalinism) from the late 1980s until the end of 2016. On the one hand, it follows the attitude of the Russian (or Soviet) state, on the other hand the position of the independent Memorial movement. In five chapters, chronologically, it notes contradictions that arise in the interpretation of the repression by the State and the Memorial and try to explain them. While the attitude of Memorial is consistent throughout the whole period (it attempts to bring repression to a wider context), we see different attitudes of the Russian state in the times of perestroika, during the reign of President Yeltsin and during the presidency of Vladimir Putin. From coincident attitudes, the state moves to interpretations that are inconsistent with the position of Memorial and are ideologically motivated. The thesis also looks at the causes of the current pressure of the Russian state against the Memorial movement, which intensified especially after 2014. The other theme of the thesis is also a brief history of the Memorial movement, its development and concrete projects and opinions.

Time of the socialist collectivization village from the point of view of contemporary witnesses of the village of Velká Losenice
FIŠAROVÁ, Alena
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to bring us closer to the origin and course of the communist regime in the village of Velká Losenice through the testimony of five witnesses. One of the main benefits of the work is the narrators statements that contain specific information about the situation at that time. Testimonies are provided not only by the descendants of peasant families, but also from earlier landless persons, small farmers and members of the Communist Party. Their testimony serves as valuable material for establishing the overall picture of the village. Another crucial point of the thesis are the criminal charges of the prosecuted "rural rich" and the impact of this imprisonment on other farmers. The result of this exploration follows the successes and failures of the establishment of the collective socialist enterprise, and creates a complex form of rural society and relations between citizens. This thesis follows the post-war period (1945/1948), the establishing of the Unified Agricultural Cooperative and the subsequent epoch of its development, which is generally monitored up to the year 1989.
Underground as a political phenomenon
Denčevová, Ivana ; Junek, Marek (advisor) ; Horák, Vladimír Jaromír (referee)
Czech underground and underground movements in other states share some common characteristics. In communistic Czechoslovakia, underground became an exceptional and unique phenomenon in spite of its typical non-political character - it served as a base for the establishment of the Charta 77 opposition movement. It hereby became a political phenomenon and an integral part of political opposition life before November 1989. In my research I have focused on an approximately five-year period of this fundamental epoch of the Czech underground development. I have used evidences provided by contemporary witnesses, worked with archive materials and studied works available in this field.

Czech schools in the Protectorate
Vaněček, Michal ; Syřiště, Ivo (advisor) ; Blažková, Veronika (referee) ; Prokop, Jiří (referee)
of English I chose the topic "Czech school in the Protectorate" for my Doctoral thesis. The history of the Second world war bellongs to my long interest. My goal was to create a popular - educational publication for student teachers. I never met with this part of history of our school in the Faculty of Education and in the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University. I hope it's very important to remind this part of history - dificult situation of teachers and students during the Nazi era to current students. This sadly topic could raise future teachers to love the profession and could raise the prestige of teachers in our country. My wish would be after reading this work to increase patriotism, love and respect fot the history of our school. I described individual school protectorate years with the introductional into the Protectorate Education. At the beginning of each school year I described the basic historical milestones. I wanted to capture the humiliation of our education system during the Protectorate compared to the high level of pre - war years, dishonor Czech teachers, pupils, students and progressive germanizacion. I took advantage memories of witnesses for readability and catchiness readers. I tried to create text with elements of experiential learning. I believe that experiential...
Autonomy and Repression in Life of Juvenile Delinquents
Barabášová, Klaudia ; Onder, Jakub (advisor) ; Chrz, Vladimír (referee)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is existence of autonomy and repression in relations between young delinquent people and society. Thesis is inspired by the control balance theory, one of the sociological criminological concepts of causes of formation of delinquent behavior, defining autonomy as a control which is applied by an individual and repression as a control applied on this individual. The objective of this work is to show a possible insights of how young delinquents perceive and reflect autonomy and repression in their social environments e.g. school and family environment, also in repressive group of their peers. I'm also trying to verify, according to control balance theory, whether imbalanced ratio between autonomy and repression experienced by individual is the cause of commiting delicts. Based on analysis of my biogpraphic interviews with four underage patients of diagnostic institute I found patterns describing how delinquents reflect autonomy and repression. The results show that just a complex view on autonomy and repression in lives of delinquents is not sufficient to verify control balance theory, also the fact that the interpretaion of theory is valid only in common with other psychological theories. I described combination of the control balance theory and Adler's...
