CMS system combined with e-shop system

Aim of this master’s thesis was design of front-end and back-end interfaces of electronic shopping system. Design consists of completing individual use-case and workflow diagrams. Next it was explored possible security risks, designed security actions against these risks, explored payment methods usable in electronic shopping systems and methods of its implementation. There was chosen PHP programming language in combination with MySQL relation database management system to be used for development of final application. As result of this work was development of electronic shopping system final application with extended user options, ability of placement at any business type and possibilities that present-day internet user expects from electronic shopping system. To accomplishment the aim of this work contributed implementation of extended user options as advanced catalog items sorting, multi level catalog structure and advanced search options. It succeeded in choosing and implementing designed security prevention and implementing of template engine into final application. Whole system is described in detail using data modeling and class diagrams.
Analysis of modern payment methods

This bachelor thesis is focused on the modern payment methods, which has nowadays became one of the most popular and used form of paying. The aim of this work is to formalise an analysis of modern payment methods and define its factor of successes. The bachelor thesis is being divided into several chapters. The first chapter is sourced from (available) written literature, highlighting the main definitions, focusing on the given topic in general but also briefly describes the historical points of view on it and the theoretical methods of critical success factors. The next chapter describes payment methods, which are being used nowadays, then focuses on the analysis of payment methods it self. Methods that are new, modern and innovative in different forms. Each method gives the basic information, function, security, typical situation and advantages and disadvantages of different forms of modern payment methods. Through this analysis we can determine the factors of success of payment methods and creates a discussion, which will result into a summary of factors that should improve and help with the development of the new payment methods. The last chapter contains selected forms of payment methods tested in real conditions.
Technical solutions of payments for wireless network access

Topic of this bachelor thesis is paid WiFi networks and their technical payment solution. The first chapter deals with the various payment methods that can be used for connection to a paid WiFi network. There are described advantages and disadvantages of different payment methods, problems in their implementation. The second chapter describes several ready-made solution that can be purchased as a complex solution for paid WiFi network. There are compared their features, functionality and price. In the third part, which is the practical part, there is described design and implementation of the payment procedure in Hotel WiFi network, operated by the Network Department of the University of Economics, Prague, at all accommodation and recreational facilities of this organization, in order to give the reader a complex demonstration of how the implementation could look like. This part describes the situation before creating the Hotel network, the basic requirements for this network, its design and the final solution from a technical perspective and from a perspective of a paying customer.
Issue of on-line payments

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of online payments and purchase of goods and services through the Internet. For this purpose the attention is paid to the online shopping, namely, electronic and mobile commerce, payment methods, payment systems and security risks. The theoretical part of the thesis aims to analyze these aspects, describe and find their advantages and disadvantages. In the analytical part the attention is paid to the results of the questionnaire investigation, which is focused on customers' needs and preferences about the aspects of online shopping described in theoretical part.
Payment cards on the Internet

This thesis deals with payment options on the Internet and is primarily focused on payment cards both in terms of their risks of use, and their popularity from the perspective of merchants and customers. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first part talks about available payment methods when paying in Czech e-shops. The second part is relates to payment cards in terms of the brief description of its development, current situation, classification, security, security risks and security policies. The third section provides a brief definition and classification of electronic payment systems. The fourth section presents a survey analysis using payment preferences of the Czech e-shops to see what payment methods they offer, which one they prefer and why. Especially if they enable the payment with the payment card and what led them to approve that, or vice versa discouraged them. The fifth part is based on a research from the fourth chapter and its aim is to evaluate the most widely used payment gateway in the Czech Republic. The sixth part deals with the paying preferences of a customer; which method are they using the most, what is their most favourite method and what are the barriers when paying with payment cards on the Internet. Objective of this thesis it to evaluate, based on analyses from customer and merchants point of view, online payments and payments with the payment card. The aim is to find a consensus between customers and merchants, what kind of payment method is preferred by both sides and determine the barriers in paying with the card, since the payment method cash on delivery still prevails on the Czech market.

The goal of the thesis is to analyze chosen electronic payment systems. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is dedicated to cover types of electronic payment system. Also is devoted to the issues of certain legal aspects that are common to all payment systems; defines the necessary concepts and business entities commonly encountered in the payment processing environment. Practical part focuses on the evaluation of usability, safety and usefulness for merchants mainly working with credit cards and particularly with alternative payment system like PayPal, iDEAL, Sofortbanking and Webmoney. Consider the advantages and disadvantages of certain payment systems. Describes the practical applicability of PCI DSS and 3-D Secure protocol.
Payment methods in czech e-shops B2C

This bachelor thesis analyzes current methods and trends when paying via the Internet in the Czech environment of the B2C segment. Firstly, specifications of each payment system are described and the main focus is placed on specific payment systems that are currently available on the market. The description is based on criterions that involve comparison in a very simple way. Online payment gates that provide an integrated system of several methods are introduced in detail. The experience and preferences of customers when paying for goods and services online are then included in the results of the questionnaire. The main objective of the thesis is to help both sides, customer and merchant, to get insight into this issue. After reading this thesis, the merchant should be capable of making the right decision about which payment systems are suitable for his/her e-shop. On the other hand, the customer should be capable of choosing the most comfortable and suitable method which that particular e-shop accepts.
