The main focus of the bachelor thesis is an active tourism and particularly an assessment of the current situation of indoor climbing in the Brněnsko region. Content is divided into two main sections, a theoretical part and analytical part. In the theoretical section, forms of active tourism and participants motivation for the active tourism are described. The main focus belongs to climbing and its history and development. The second part of the thesis contents of analyzed aspects of climbing and services offered by the local climbing centres. Results are discussed and suggestions of possible climbing walls classification and development in the region are given in conclusion.

The diploma thesis is on the topic of the evaluation of a selected form of tourism and its impact on the landscape on the Moravian karst Protected Landscape Area. It deals with the evaluation of impacts of mountaineering activities in the Moravian karst Protected Landscape Area. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on obtaining information about the Moravian karst area, terminology related to the concept of the landscape and tourism. The practical part of the thesis includes a questionnaire and its evaluation, a field survey carried out directly in the Moravian karst site and a SWOT analysis with proposing appropriate measures to reduce the negative impacts of the selected form of tourism. The results show that mountaineering activities have a negative impact on the Moravian karst Protected Landscape Area. However in some cases the negative impacts may be reduced or eliminated when rules and nature is respected. The diploma thesis can be used as part of the basis for the elaboration of the Plan of Care for the Protected Landscape Area Moravian karst for the next period issued by the Nature Protection Agency of the Czech Republic.
History of mauntain rescue service

Summary The aim of this thesis is to describe the history and development of the Mountain service in Czech countries as well as in available archives look for documents giving evidence of its history and development. Another target is to point out the associations connected with the mountain terrain or associated with the origin of the Mountain service. Another goal was to monitor the development of the symbol, membership cards and technology which was or stil is used by the Mountain service. The thesis also contains an overview of commencement of rescue associations in selected European countries where the organized rescue of people in mountain terrain has a similar period of origin and similar circumstances. Those organizations, which mostly helped to create mountain rescue service, were Alpine clubs, tourist clubs, conservationists or gymnastic associations. From the territorial prospective we speak about Austria, Germany, France and Italy. From the time point of view the formation of rescue service dates from the middle of the 19th century. The greatest reason for an increasing amount of people (tourists) coming to the mountain terrain in Europe was mostly the scientific-technical progress in the second half of the 19th century. The theme of this thesis are terms that delimit realisation of teaching the climbing sport in basic schools. The aim of the these is to identify and analyse the terms for the realisation of teaching the climbing sport in schools during the PE classes. The theoretical part is aimed at the history of climbing and climbing walls, on a detailed description of the climbing material, and on the elucidation of climbing sport as an appropriate activity for the PE classes. Climbing walls on Basic and Secondary school in South Bohemia

TITLE: Climbing walls on Basic and Secondary school in South Bohemia. OBJECTIVES: The aim of this thesis was to determine the number of elementary and secondary schools in South Bohemia, they're using wall climbing in physical education lesson. How many schools owns a climbing wall and what's they're material equipment. METHODS: This thesis is made up as a research with survey and questionnaire methods. First of all it was made the survey to determine, which schools are using wall climbing in physical education lesson. Then to this schools was sent the questionnaire with fourteen questions about the wall, lessons and material equipment. The data were processed in statistical program Excel and presented with the help of created graphs. RESULTS: This work shows actual state of using wall climbing in elementary and secondary schools. In South Bohemia makes this 16 schools of the total number of 378, witch represents a little bit more than 4%. Further it was investigated the method of inlusion this activity straight in to the physical education lessons and material equipment that each of this school owns. People have been searching for adrenalin sports very intensively in last years. These activities include climbing and its related disciplines. Rocky areas become more and more affected by increasing number of people visiting these areas. Main goal of this paper is to assemble knowledge of climbing in connection with nature protection. Field research in Chřiby area shows an impact of climbing activity on sandstone rock formations present in this area and its surroundings.

The content of this work is interior design of particular sport center. The teoretical part deals with the historical context, the specifics of the area, the condition of current competitive spaces in Czech Republic and their problems. Small portion of the work is also dedicated to inspirational centers abroad. It further discusses materials, interior design standards and furniture standards. The practical part presents the design solution of the social and the sport section and sanitary facilities. It includes a ground plan, a drawing of electrical wiring, an item plan and drawings of atypical objects.

INTEGRATION OF CLIMBING DATABASES WITH THE STATE MAP SERIES Abstract This thesis is about the role of inegartion of climbing databases with the state map series and vice versa. I tis based on the web claimbing databases of rocks and state topographic databases Geonames and ZABAGED®. Thesis was created with the help of software tools Oracle SQL Developer and ArcGIS for Desktop. At first, basic terms are explained and a method for integration of data into climbing databases is described and tested. Subsequently, means for completion of coordinates from publicly available sources is described. Title: Destroying of rocky shapes caused by climbing Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is find out a rate and type of damage sandstone rocky shapes casused by climbing. This bachelor thesis is also engaged in climbing and its relationship to nature conservation in the snadstone landscapes. Methods: For the theoretic part of this bachelor thesis was used a method of analysis of documents and available literature. For the research section of this thesis has been carried out field research in choosen districts by observation and taking a photographs of type of damage sandstone rocky shapes. Results: We found out a shapes and rate of damage sandstone rocky shapes in choosen districts. The rate of damage of sandstone rocky shapes depends on the rate of climbing. We also found out that damage of sandstone rocky shapes are influenced by other sports and recreational activities.
