Complement - The Comparison of Academic and School Conception
Hančin, Marek ; Doležalová, Eliška (advisor) ; Hirschová, Milada (referee)
The master thesis "Complement - The Comparison of Academic and School Conception" examines the professional and school concepts of the often-discussed clause element - complement. The author compares selected linguistic approaches to the complement, focusing primarily on the similarities and differences in the different conceptions - what linguists (dis)consider to be a complement, how the complement is realized, what is the division of the complement. In the school conception, the author analyses the key educational documents (the Framework Educational Programmes, the requirements for the didactic test in Czech language, the requirements for the Unified Entrance Examination in Czech language and the textbooks used in teaching Czech) and the teachers' view of this clause element. The author aims to find out whether the complement is a compulsory part of education and whether textbooks provide appropriate support for functional work with the complement. In the conclusion of the paper, the author proposes three methodological lessons of his own, based on the above-mentioned analysis, which can be used in Czech language classes. The starting points for these lessons are the communicative goals of Czech language teaching, the constructivist model of teaching, and the integration of linguistic and...

TITLE: The development of nutritional practices in professional athletics AUTHOR: Bc. David Nováček DEPARTMENT: Department of physical education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. PaedDr. Ladislav Kašpar Ph.D. ABSTRACT: My thesis will be dealing with the theme of the development of nutritional practices through generations in one selected athletic discipline. In the theoretical part I will do various exploration works with similar themes. I will describe athletic nutrition for athletes and different types of classic nutrition and dietary supplements that have been used / are used. The practical part will be based on a questionnaire or interview, where I'll try to find out the nutritional practices of individual elite athletes through generations. I will compare these results and make appropriate conclusions. KEYWORDS: Nutrition, a dietary supplement, sports, athletics, generation
Efficient Algorithms for Finite Automata
Kantor, Tomáš ; Rogalewicz, Adam (referee) ; Lengál, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis presents new algorithm for complement of nondeterministic finite automata. State-of-the-art methods require conversion to deterministic finite automata, which can have exponentially larger number of states. This new algorithm works separately on each strongly connected component of finite automata. This approach allows to create complement of each component, reduce it and combine with other parts. This algorithm was proven to create less states for specific types of finite automata than existing methods.

Addon is designed to cooperate with the annotation server of 4A Framework (Annotations Anywhere, Annotations Anytime) project. The communication format between them is therefore based on the project specifications.
Determination of Blood Pressure Parameters for Ventilation Control during Anaestesia in Horses
Horský, Martin ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
The present work deals with the issue of hemodynamic monitoring of blood pressure in horses during mechanical ventilation in anesthetized horses. Result of this work is an extension to the application Datex-Ohmeda S/5 Collect, which from the pressure curve provides values needed for optimal ventilation. Initial chapter provides a general physiologic introduction. It describes the definition of blood pressure, cardiac cycle and description of the pressure curve. It also deals with the hemodynamic parameters such as pulse pressure, stroke volume and their variabilities. In the second chapter is described methodology of measuring blood pressure in horses. Both, noninvasive and invasive methods are included. The third chapter analyzes fluctuations in blood pressure during ventilation. The last fourth chapter describes the implemented extension module which is designed to monitor hemodynamic parameters of the pressure curve.
