Implementation of digital technologies in education

The aim of this thesis is to analyze strategic and other documents and data that are focused on distance learning in primary schools. The aim is also to describe how distance teaching took place in primary schools using digital technologies and to point out its specifics, including positives and negatives. Strategic and other documents are the basis for determining the readiness of teachers and schools for the transition to distance learning. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools were closed and it was necessary to move to distance learning, which was online. Schools and educators had to adapt and implement digital technologies in education in a short period of time. The diploma thesis focuses on the implementation of digital technologies in education in distance learning. In the modern world, every person is increasingly dependent on the use of technology which is not the case in education. Teachers are key players in implementing digital technologies in education. Proposal of a project of further education for academic staff of selected universities with a humanities focus

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of further education of academic staff of universities with social sciences and humanities. The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a project proposal for further education in the field of pedagogical and presentation skills for academic staff of selected humanities universities. This output is preceded by 4 steps. The first partial aim is to describe education and professional competencies of university teachers. The second partial aim is to describe the current system and legislation of higher education in the Czech Republic. The third partial aim is to identify opportunities in the field of further education of university academics. The fourth partial aim is to analyze the needs of academic staff in the field of further education. Building upon a research of literary sources, analysis of documents and legislation, the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the field of education, professional competencies of academics, the issue of further education, the higher education system and related legislation defining higher education in the Czech Republic. The thoretical part describes the Czech system of in-service education of teachers in the context of lifelong learning. It introduces its legislative classification and describes an alternative classification. The following part offers the list of information resources, which are useful for Mathematics teachers and the list of what the current offer of further education courses for Mathematics teachers is, including selfstudying activities. Educational needs of kindergartens headmasters in Prague

The bachelor thesis deals with the educational needs of nursery school headmasters in Prague. The aim was to find out the contemporary educational needs of the stated group of leading workers and compare them with topical educational offers on the territory of the capital city of Prague. Theoretical part comes from the professional literature concerning the nowadays pre-school available educational and other sources and others. Researching part was based on questionnaire studies and its further analysis. The result is to create the whole side of further education of nursery school headmasters concerning their demands. At the end of the bachelor thesis the headmasters' interests of further school management education are confirmed and the time limited possibilities of headmasters are pointed out. The author of the thesis also shows the inadequate educational offers and the lack of wrong adjustment of the whole system of managerial education in our educational system.
Educational Needs of Managers of Kindergartens in the Central Bohemian Region

4 ABSTRACT: The bachelor thesis deals with identifying educational needs of managers of kindergartens in Central Bohemian Region and educational opportunities in Central Bohemia and Prague. The aim of this research was to find those needs, monitor managers' level of satisfaction with current educational opportunities in the region. It also searched for a dependence of the priorities of the educational needs on the amount of years spent in the leading position. The scientific literature is presented in the theoretical part of this work. It also provides an overview of the current status of pre-school education and legal requirements for the job. The key point of the research is based on a survey among managers of kindergartens of the Central Bohemian Region and its subsequent analysis. The survey results lead to the creation of a plastic view at the educational opportunities for the managers in the context with their educational needs. The final part of this work presents the results of investigations to confirm managers' interest in further education. Furthermore, it shows their satisfaction with educational options in the context of their needs and the results of the investigation that do not confirm the dependence of the selection of educational areas on the number of years spent in a leading position....
