A Trifling Dispute
Petřík, Vojtěch ; Zubek, Petr (referee) ; Stratil, Václav (advisor)
Computer Game made with puppet animation.
Retrospective Arcade Game
Trčka, Martin ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Pospíchal, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the evolution of computer, which is inspired of historical game called Arkanoid. The first part of the thesis describes history of computer games and conputer graphics. Next section details the graphics libraries as DirectX and OpenGL.The second part of the thesis describes the plan of the game and collisional system. Then the thesis includes description of implementation, where are used object oriented design, library OpenGL and library SDL in C++. The end of thesis is devoted to testing of game.
Procedural Generation of Voxel Models
Hypeš, Tomáš ; Matýšek, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with procedural generation techniques and its use in the creation of voxel models. The techniques that have been used are Perlin Noise, Voronoi diagram, L-systems etc. This knowledge is then used to create a world generator for computer game with open world. This game provides players with the ability to modify this world and use its creativity, for example, in building construction. The game, however, will not give to the player all options for free, but for example for build, he or she will first have to find and mine the material. The game has been written in programming language C++ with the use of libraries Boost, SDL and OpenGL.
Computer Game in 2D for Linux
Ševčík, Jaroslav ; Novosad, Petr (referee) ; Rogalewicz, Adam (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis is focused on artificial intelligence for computer controlled objects, represented by computer game. There are contained typical procedures to handle some behavior problems of intelligent objects and finally their implementation into fully functional application.
Computer Game with Particle Systems
Vlková, Lenka ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This bachelory thesis describes the design and the implementation of a 3D computer game with particle systems. The particle systems can be used for the simulation of a stochastic natural phenomena, for example fire and snow. In this thesis, you can find the description of the evolution of these systems, their uses and the description of the particular implementation. Other parts of the text are focused on another subjects involved in the game programming. The selection of an essential tool for game creation, a game engine, is crucial. Very important is also a collision detection that enables the movement of the objects in a game world and their responses to it. The design and the description of some parts of the implemented game is also a part of this work.
RPG Game in Unity with Procedural Elements
Líška, Samuel ; Vlnas, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to create 2D top-down RPG game with a focus on procedural generation in Unity. This thesis contains a summary of information about videogames, procedural content generation, game engines, and Unity itself. This thesis also contains solution design and implementation of the game. Perlin noise and its processing into the biome with the usage of Whittaker diagram has been used. Multiple systems to enhance gameplay are described as well. Lastly, this thesis contains testing and evaluation with a small survey.
Multiplayer Computer Game
Kubík, Tomáš ; Plchot, Oldřich (referee) ; Mikolov, Tomáš (advisor)
This work describes implementation of a simple 3D computer game, with support of gameplay over internet for multiple gamers. In this project, Microsoft XNA framework is used and throughly described. The final game includes a skybox, simple terrain and multiple 3D objects, all rendered in real time.
Game Demo in Unity
Kocián, Kryštof ; Chlubna, Tomáš (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement a game containing procedurally generated content in Unity. Inside you can find a summary of information about videogames, selected methods of procedural generation and a description of the design and implementation process of the game itself.
Piece of cake
Gračka, Martin ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
For this series of paintings, I chose scenes from the computer game Duke Nukem 3D. I try to imitate the graphics of computer games of the early 90's. I'm not talking about thorough repainting of pixels, consistent copying of screenshots, but about capturing the atmosphere of the game using painting gestures and abbreviations - converting pixel graphics into the medium of painting. The viewer sees the images through the eyes of the protagonist, thus getting into his role. In my work, I am mainly interested in aesthetic enjoyment and the game between painting and graphics. Then about evoking sentiment that affects a narrower group of people.
Multiplayer Snake Game
Duží, Martin ; Bartoš, Pavel (referee) ; Pospíchal, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the development of Snake computer game with expansion of multiplayer. The introductory part deals with the theoretical analysis of two basic units - computer graphics and network communications. Both topics will focus on the programmer's perspective. The following is a concept used for the application creation. The practical part presents the implementation in C + + and use of libraries OpenGL, freeglut, irrKlang and ENet. Also includes details of object-oriented approach. The conclusion contains a description of the testing and user's evaluation.
