Vehicle Speed Measurement by a Stationary Camera
Juřica, Tomáš ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with the problematic of car speed measurement from video footage captured by a stationary camera. Development of a tool focused on reaching maximum accuracy of measurements with minimal user effort has been covered in this work. Perception of scene dimensions is acquired by using known points in the scene, which are manually marked. The influence of the way of annotating car position and input video quality on maximal reachable accuracy has also been discussed in this work.
Fire Detection in Images and Video
Poledník, Tomáš ; Juránková, Markéta (referee) ; Přibyl, Bronislav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with fire detection in image and video. Attention is paid to the existing methods and known approaches to fire detection. Based on the analysis of the described methods, a fire detector, monitoring the attributes of its colour and motion, is designed, implemented and tested. The implemented detector achieves true positive detection rate of up to 90%.
Applications for analysis of tennis player motions
Kříž, Petr ; Beneš, Radek (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with segmentation of tennis player´s body parts for analysis its motion. Testing code was written in C++ with use of OpenCV library. Some image processing techniques such as thresholding, background subtraction or finding the largest contours were implemented. There was used a linear triangulation technique for calculating the 3D coordinates of segmented points.
Evaluation of Target Shooting by Computer Vision
Separation of dynamic and static structures in a series of images
Gebrtová, Karolína ; Kosová, Petra (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the separation of static and dynamic structures of video. While the major part of the video background remains static, a few moving particles can be observed. Such video can be represented by a low-rank and a sparse component. Using a low-rank structure, the background can be separated by applying either the median filter or the dynamic mode decomposition. Furthermore, the thesis includes the robust principal component analysis which can be perceived as an optimization problem. In addition, the thesis is enhanced by result visualization methods.
Motion Detection in Video
Půček, Petr ; Bartl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with motion detection in video recorded on stationary camera. It describes the process of solution and implementation of motion detection app on Windows platform using OpenCV library for image processing. These principles of image analysis and processing can be used in any other systems.
Game with Hand Gesture Control
Kartous, Petr ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This work is focused on controlling the game by using hand gestures. The main part of the work is image segmentation and detection of the hand in picture. For the segmentation of the image are used techniques of skin detection and the background subtraction with adaptive model of the background. Also the methods of mathematical morphology to eliminate the noise from the image and the appropriate methods for transferring images of gestures to characteristic gestures in numerical form are mentioned. In the context of the work was a simple car race game created which is controlled by hand gestures. At the end there was a testing carried out to identify the advantages and disadvantages of used methods of image segmentation and to detect the used hand gestures. There were also several sets of gestures tested by which the game is controlled. The two sets which came out of the test most successfully are applicable depending on the quality of the hand gesture recognition.
Human detection in commercial applications
Černín, Jan ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The aim of the master thesis is to derive and implement image porcessing methods for people detection and tracking in images or videos. The overall solution was chosen as a combination of modern approaches and methods which were recently presented. The proposed algorithm is able to create trajectory of the person moving in indoor building spaces even under influence of full or partial occlusion for a short period of time. The scene of interest is surveyed by a static camera having direct view on targets. Selected methods are implemented in C# programming language based on OpenCV library. Graphical user interface was created to show the final output of algorithm.
Object tracking using computer vision
Klapal, Matěj ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with posibilities of tracking object movement using computer vision algorithms. First chapters contain review of methods used for background subtraction, there are also listed basic detection approaches and thesis also mentions algorithms which allows tracking and movement prediction. Next part of this work informs about algoritms implemented in resulting software and its graphical user interface. Evaluation and comparison of original and modified algorithms is stationed at the end of this text.
Game with Hand Gesture Control
Baštek, Jozef ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This paper is intended for computer vision usage as a way of human-computer interacion. It covers design and implementation of interface for game controlling by hand gestures and movements, that are captured by camera. It describes and evaluates image segmentation algorithms (background subtraction, thresholding, Bayes' theorem, gaussian model) as well as hand gesture classification algorithms (knowledge-based classification, Hu invariant moments and K-nearest neighours). Implementation includes machanical contruction of camera holder and 3D FPS game as a interface usage demonstration.
