Title: Street workout as part of a healthy lifestyle. Objectives: The aim of the work is the analysis of strenghtening with own body weight and his inclusion through movement form street workout to regular physical aktivity as part of healthy lifestyle and prevent malfunctions in the area of the back muscles. Methods: Searches relevant scientific literature, articles and documents on the Internet. Results: Through the analysis of body weight training, it was found that street workout is under certain conditions, a suitable and attractive form of exercise that can be included among regular physical activities. This form of exercise together with the created stack of exercises could attract those interested in this type of physical activity not only because of its attractiveness and availability, but also as a prevention of a number of diseases related to the area of the back muscles. Objective Acquisition of theoretical knowledge of kinesiology, functional and structural failures of lumbar spine and physiotherapy approaches used in this issue. In a special section has been selected to develop a case study patient during work placements. Summary The general part of bachelors thesis contains a theoretical knowledge of kinesiology lumbar spine, as well as disorders of the axial system and diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to the back pain issue. The practical part includes the case of a patient diagnosed with the syndrome lumboischiadic L5 irritation. Case study: Physiotherapy treatment of a patient with diagnosis of disc herniation and spondylolisthesis of L5-S1. Author: Anastasia Krokou Summary In this case study I negotiate the topic mentioned above and I quote the two main approaches. The theoretical approach with a close aspection to the functional and structural mechanism of the spinal column, combined to the biomechanical and kinesiological approach, focused more on lumbar spine, and the pathological disturbances that may arise in this region, in this case it will be about disc herniation. The other approach that completes my study work is the practical one and it concerns the application of rehabilitation and physiotherapy principles in order to treat the post-operative sequences that follow and how the treatment plan of short and long term of rehabilitation will look like. My bachelor's thesis practice took place in Ustředni Vojenská Nemocnice Praha during the period of 16.1-27.1 at the department of neurosurgery and also at the department of out coming patients. I used my knowledge that I gained these years while studying at Charles University at the department of Physiotherapy and applied for the best results according to the patients' situation....

Prevention of back pain in adults using a computer

Computers in modern times have become part of our lives, but apart from benefits they bring many medical complications as well. This paper provides a brief overview of existing knowledge and studies, dealing with back pain in the adult population working with computers. In the theoretical part, the emphasis is on prevention and treatment of back pain, which is very intertwined. The practical part presents the results of research, which had the form of a checklist answered by 50 men and 73 women. The results show high prevalence of back pain of computer users, many differences are to be found in the characteristics of pain of men and women, ages and dependence of pain intensity on movement habits of respondents. The work points to the significance of the problem, which is important for the society. It stresses the need for an active approach of computer users and their employers. Trauma nurses in providing nursing care and prevention options

The thesis is focused on the issue of injury to nurses in providing nursing care and disease, which is due to an injury risk. It also deals with back pain, total prevention of the problems and possibilities of compensation for work injuries. In connection with the issues I have set goals and determine whether the respondents comply with established nursing standards and whether they last three years has been injuries in connection with the provision of nursing care. Furthermore, if the respondents know the correct procedure in injuries of the needle used, whether the value of container used for disposal of infectious waste for safe and whether they suffer from back pain lately. I believe that the specific targets of the thesis managed to meet the total. In a benefit for working professionals could be a picture of the issues presented by the selected workplaces. Suggesting the need to continue to pursue the above-mentioned topic.

Title: Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of patient with radicular syndrome S1 diagnosis Objectives: The aim of this thesis is a summary of the knowledge about radicular syndrome S1 especially for the needs of a physiotherapist, and their practical application presented in a case study of patient with such diagnosis. Methods: The thesis consists of two parts. General part summarizes the knowledge about radicular syndrome S1 based on the available literature. I focus on anatomical and kinesiological features, etiology and clinical picture of the disease, and further on possibilities of treatment, particularly physiotherapeutical ones. Special part is a case study of a patient with this diagnose. It covers her anamnesis and initial examination, then it describes all physiotherapeutical units undergone, and concludes with control examination and evaluation of the effect of the treatment. Use of interactive device Homebalance® in therapy of vertebrogenic algic syndrome

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the use of internal Homebalance® aids, certified as a medical device class I, in therapy in patients diagnosed with vertebrogenic algic syndrome. The work introduces this technology and isdivided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the practical part, two case reports of patients with this are processed diagnosis. The evaluation of the effectiveness of the therapy is performed by comparing the input and output examination, which uses the measurement of the distance spine, body weight distribution using two scales, pain evaluation according to the NRS scale (The Numeric Rating Scale) and automatic evaluation of the exercise with the Homebalance® system. Finally, a comparison of the effectiveness of therapy performed in one patient only with the Homebalance® device with the Homebalance® device therapy combined with therapy with proven physiotherapeutic methods and concepts (DNS and McKenzie exercise elements) in the other patient

Effect of mobility exercises in offline and online environment on subjective perception of back pain

Title: Effect of mobility exercises in offline and online environment on subjective perception of back pain Objectives: The main goal of this work was to determine whether the onset of daily mobility contributes to the reduction of individual's back pain perception. Within the work the results between the offline and online group was compared. Methods: The diploma thesis has the character of qualitative research, where case study of 20 probands was applied. Online input and output questionnaires were compiled to obtain data, which respondents filled in at the beginning and end of the intervention. Results: The research included 11 women and 9 men aged 21 - 44 years. Individuals have mostly sedentary jobs and some of them play recreational sports in their free time. At the end of the intervention, all individuals showed an improvement on the scale of the pain intensity, when the perceived back pain was alleviated or disappeared. The offline group performed better than the online group. Conclusion: The study confirmed that the inclusion of daily mobility contributes to the reduction of subjectively perceived back pain. Prevention of postural defects in the population

This dissertation aims at verifying methodology used for somatographic evaluation of the shape and statics of the spine. The potential of the methodology verified lies in increased objectivity of upright body posture evaluation and thereby contributes to the specification of preventative measures for postural defects, and their consequences. Under a cross-sectional pilot study, a non-invasive somatographic method-a diagnostic DPT-3 system designated for spine shape diagnostics-was used to examine selected biomechanical parameters (spinal curves and statics in the sagittal plane in the upright position) in a total of 508 probands. Of this, 326 were school-age children and 182 adults. Among the key parameters monitored were: Cl (depth of cervical lordosis); LI (depth of lumbar lordosis); the sagittal balance of Cl/Ll, and VThk (distance of the peak of the thoracic kyphosis from the ideal verticals-IV). A questionnaire was used to evaluate the level of movement activity in probands and the relation between the occurrence of painful back and headaches and the measurement of biomechanical parameters and movement activity. Silvie Táborská Title: The usage of visceral manipulation on the patients with vertebrogenic disorders Abstract: This bachelor thesis will be focusing on the osteopathic method of visceral manipulation, specifically its usage on the patients with vertebrogenic problems. The vertebrogenic problems are the second most common causes of a doctor's visit. However, determining the cause and source of the problem is not always easy and the patient is often referred for an examination and treatment to the various specialists, unfortunately mostly without any effects. Visceral manipulation looks at with the vertebrogenic disorders in the context of viscerovertebral relations and in therapy it focuses mainly on the organ system. The knowledge which the VM offers could thus be a way of treating these problems. This thesis is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part.
