Brno waterfront - rehabilitation of rivers and their surrounding areas

The aim of the assignment was to rehabilitate the area of the Brno embankment of the river Svitava and the nearby surroundings of the river. This is the modification of the river's seashore, the modification of public spaces and the completion of individual objects. The solved territory is defined in the east and north of Cejl streets, on the east of the Svitava river and on the south by Tkalcovska street. The principles of the proposal are based on the necessary changes to the territory. The biggest problem of the area is the area backups for the hypermarket parking lot and the urbanistically incoherent structure of the courtyards and the poorly functioning waterfront. The proposal focuses on making the river accessible and bringing water closer to people. On the waterfront the bicycle path is used not only by cyclists. The former hypermarket is converted into a shopping mall and the ground floor of the seafront is made up of shops, services, cafes and restaurants. For humans, a river was available that could touch water. For relaxation and recreation, the terraces are provided. Better permeability also offers the river itself. By modifying the footbridge and delivering a new footbridge in the middle part, pedicists and cyclists can better cross the river. The park and the reclamation of planted trees have been modified. The Svitavy Drive in the section of the park was also accessible by foot. The siding was preserved to a certain extent in order to be able to prepare a wagon with a café or other possibilities of the Svitava festival under the steam. The construction of new houses increases the attractiveness of the area itself and offers both flats overlooking the river with the dominant of the church as well as services in the workshops of the individual houses. Industrial bakery Herold Brno

The aim of this work is to project documentation, which consists of documentation for building permits in 1: 100 scale and documentation for construction in 1:50 scale. The work is based on architectural studies prepared in the course AG35. The subject of the thesis is the solution of new industrial bakeries Herold in Brno in Horní Heršpice on the street K Terminálu. The solution includes both industrial building itself and its surroundings. The basic idea was the breakdown of the three basic longitudinal masses into smaller parts. They create the impression folded structures from individual blocks. The blocks are separated by a narrow alley, which is located in the roof blocks embedded in the mass. The overall appearance of the industrial bakery is also supported using cassette facade system on the front blocks.

Methods for Segmented Image Processing

This work deals with the representation of segmented images using graphs. Different segmentation methods used in processing visual information are described here. Today is mathematics increasingly needed. This fact is not omitted, basic information of graph theory are described in this paper. The second part of this work is practical. It contains a survey of libraries processing graphs. Further the data structures for describing the segmented image are described. Last but not least, there is also described the formation and properties of the operators designed for environment RapidMiner that fill these structures.

Favorit Brno / cycling stadium - bicross track / architectural study - design / stage 2021/22

The assignment of the diploma thesis is an architectural study of a cycling stadium - velodrome in the Pisárky district in Brno for TJ Favorit Brno. The existing velodrome is located southwest on the edge of the Brno Exhibition Center on Křížovského Street. The Velodrome no longer meets the current requirements of track cycling, but it is historically valuable and has its genius loci. The new 250 m long wooden bike track (together with other parameters of the International Cycling Union) and its associated sports grounds are "inserted" into the existing velodrome, which is modified and reconstructed according to requirements. The grandstands have been preserved. The built-in building with a new track is then completely roofed, creating an enclosed space. As part of the stadium reconstruction, a new facility was also created for TJ Favorit Brno from a modular container system; These are changing rooms for athletes, administrative areas, and facilities for visiting clubs and athletes and IP areas. The container construction system for sports facilities is very practical, economical, fast, environmentally friendly, variable, and flexible to the current requirements of a constantly evolving sport. The Anteroom and ground floor in the southern part of the existing velodrome is equipped with services for the public: a cafe, souvenir shop, cash register, information center, service, and a bicycle and sports equipment store. The new track with grandstands is covered with ETFE foil anchored to new lattice trusses, which are connected to the existing roof.

Water park Brno

Diploma thesis Aquapark Brno is directly connected with the previous specialist course "Sports Center Za Lužánkami Brno". This project dealt was focused on overall concept, architectural and urban study of this area with an emphasis on sports, recreation and relaxation. There was created a zone of predominantly professional sport in the southern part of this area. There were built football and ice hockey stadiums on the newly created terrace/platform. These stadiums are located approximately in the same places as their current (football) or non-existent (hockey) predecessors. The terrace/platform (parking is located under the terrace) continues, and the newly expanded Boby Hotel follows the recreational sports zone with an Aquapark and outdoor sports grounds located behind the existing Tesco shopping centre. There is formed a new park in north of the sports grounds forming a recreational-relaxation zone on the territory of Planýrka. The existing building of a 50 meter swimming pool dominates the area of Aquapark. It was built in 1979 according to the project architect Otakar Oplatek. However this object no longer meets the requirements of today's visitors or athletes. The new building which includes a twenty-five meter tall swimming pool with a background is being added to the existing building. So there is a separable swimming area created here, which can serve both - swimmers and teenagers or professional athletes. There is a good possibility of racing as well. The new building connects eastward to the building of the roofed Aquapark partially hidden beneath the terraces and resting areas. These three through-flowing but mutually separable objects together with the platform define the area of the outdoor aquapark. Value Determination of Properties Burdened with Easements

The thesis deals with the determination of real estate value easements established in favour of constructions transport infrastructure. The aim is determination of real estate value in an current price and official price. In connection with the established easement it is substantiate the devaluation of the real estate related with the occurrence of the easement. In the first part the thesis I deal with the forensic engineering, real estate market, easements and with their valuation. In the project part there is concretely solved valuation of real estate loaded with the easement.

Sports and Relaxation Centre Za Lužánkami, Brno

The assignment of the diploma thesis follows on a previous urbanistic-architectural study that aimed to design a sports and recreational area Za Lužánkami in Brno. The complex offers a wide range of sports facilities for recreation, as well as facilities with multifunctional use, whether for sports or for all kinds of events organized by the city. The centre of the complex and the main multifunctional sports ground is the torso of the football stadium Za Lužánkami, which continues to refer to the sporting achievements of the city with its genius loci. The aim of the thesis is to design a sports hall with a number of associated facilities in order to create a building providing a range of sports activities and complementing the outdoor area with sports facilities for recreation and leisure. The sports hall is designed on the site of a former hockey stadium. It thus supplements the buildings (swimming pool and hotel Boby) around the road Sportovní not only with facilities with a sports function, but also with accommodation, restaurant, café and commerce.
