Quality of working life related to human resources activities

This thesis analyses the concept of quality of working life related to human resources activities. In the theoretical part, key concepts and related terms are introduced. Then different approaches and categorisations are stated. Individual human resources activities contributing to quality of working life as introduced by Walton are described in the following subchapters. Several examples of research approaches related to quality of working life are stated as well as different means of evaluating and measuring quality of working life. The practical part consists of a research design leading to a questionnaire development measuring quality of working life according to Walton's factors, which were described in detail in the theoretical part.
Work-related satisfaction - causes and manifestation

Bachelor thesis summarizes knowledge from the psychology of work and organization field, in particular from the field of job satisfaction. The theoretical part covers different approaches to job satisfaction and its characteristics. In introduction apart from basic terminology important theoretical approaches to work satisfaction (e.g. single-factor and double-factor theories) are presented. Further the main focus is on factors related to job satisfaction such as age, seniority, gender, education and salary. Also the effect of job satisfaction on phenomena such as work motivation, work performance, fluctuation and absenteeism is mentioned. The final chapter of theoretical part of the work is focused on the methods of job satisfaction evaluation in the Czech Republic as well as in the world. The theoretical part of the work is followed by empirical part which designs a research project of job satisfaction in actual organization. Research project is divided into two parts. Work satisfaction of nursery school teachers

The work focuses on the selection and further study of factors concerning work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. The theoretical part of the final bachelor's thesis presents findings from literature review concerning definitions, signs, determinants and theories of work satisfaction and related subjects. Consequently the work concentrates on the analysis of real life assets related to kindergarten teachers' work performance. A questionnaire survey in the practical part of this work identifies the most explanatory factors of work satisfaction. Another focus is on the importance of other variables influencing the general work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. Levels of current work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers are then compared among the three regions within the Czech republic. The survey results together with theoretical findings may provide more detailed point of view under the given conditions as well as serve to managers with topics for consideration and resposible approach to this subject. The effect of volunteer management professionalization level on volunteer work satisfaction

This text concentrates on volunteering in volunteer organizations. It examines the connection between volunteer management professionalization level and volunteer work satisfaction in these organizations. In the theoretical part is defined the concepts of volunteering, professionalization and satisfaction are defined and their particular aspects associated with the focus of the thesis are highlighted. The empirical part describes the construction of the research method and presents the analysis of the above-mentioned connection in several volunteering organizations with the use of this method. This bachelor´s thesis deals with the motivation and stimulation of the SGI, Ltd. company. Notes on the problems and address possible shortcomings of the existing system of incentives. The main characteristics which should be a new system of incentives to excel are interest, the transparency, but also financial modesty. Therefore there are basic theoretical methods, which this work provides, practical solutions and suggestions that will lead to overall improvement of the existing system and thus also to streamline the work effort of employees.
Proposal for improvement of the stimulation for employees

My bachelor’s thesis puts forth the proposal for improvement of the stimulation for employees in a company. The first part summarizes current knowledge about motivation, stimulation and its influence to performance. In the second part there is a presentation company and there are analyzed methods which are used for employee’s motivation in described company in actual practice. The final part finds the correct form of stimulative means that should hold present employees, should lead to growth performance in the company and connect individual target with corporate purpose.

This Bachelor´s Thesis is concerned with the modern concept of HR: freedom at work. It is a method of leadership, which promotes natural employees engagement. The aim of this thesis is describe, analyse and evaluate the concept. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the theoretical basis, procedures and methods related to this area. Data are predominantly based on the academic literature. The practical part represents examples of liberal companies from practice at home and abroad. There is also analysis of selected processes in the company XYZ, questionnaire, survey evaluation and formulation of recommendations. To achieve the goals of this work, are used these methods: comparison of theory with practise, interviews with employees of liberal companies, interviews with the members of the personnel department and the HR director, analysis of internal documents and questionnaire. The acquisition of this work is description of the procedure, how this concept or part of it use in company XYZ. This procedure is described in the conclusion.

The Master´s Thesis deals with the issue of motivation, work satisfaction and engagement of employees as determinants of work performance. The aim of this Thesis is to analyse the level of motivation, work satisfaction and engagement of employees in a particular insurance-brokerage company, asses the influence of these variables on the work performance and devise recommendations for the company how to optimize the motivation, work satisfaction and engagement of their employees. The first part of the Thesis deals with the terminology of this issue, the second part deals with the analysis of motivation, work satisfaction and engagement of employees based on a survey among the employees. There is also an analysis of dependence of work performance on these variables. At the end of the Thesis there are recommendations that can increase the level of motivation, work satisfaction and engagement of employees of this company.
