Electronic stability systems
Musil, Jan ; Ambróz, Richard (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
In this Bachelor’s thesis there are basic electronic stability systems described. These systems are mostly used as a precaution in safety of the traffic, but also to ensure comfort of the crew. The main part of the thesis is focused on systems ABS, ASR and ESP. The other parts aim to describe additional systems, which are still in development. In the end there is also view of various individual car companies and possible steps in the future.
Wireless Telemetry System for RC Model
Čamaj, Peter ; Prokopec, Jan (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This project deals with design and realization of wireless telemetry system, which is special used in model of plane on remote control. It solves software and hardware realization of the telemetry system, which is able to wirelessly transmit the measured cockpit values, which are clearly displayed on LCD and also represented by sound.
Measurement of velocity distribution in the space between the cylinders
Kozák, Jan ; Kohút, Lukáš (referee) ; Zubík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the velocity distribution in space between the cylinders. All measurement conducted in labs of VUT Brno Faculty of Civil Engineering. Cause of measurement is research, which is being done by Masarykova unverzita within the thesis of one of the students. It is a research of behavior of certain animals in the aquatic enviroment.
Measurement of gas flow rates
Hniličková, Veronika ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This bachelors thesis is about options in a gas volume measurement, it's division and engineering solution of selected types of a gas volume indicators. A thesis is about analysis of measurement methods too. Finally I compare a gas volume measuring indicators, it's usage and functionality in working practicles.
Steam turbine
Vališ, Petr ; Novotný, Zdeněk (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
Goal of this dissertation is design of rotary reduction for entered input parameters that it is connected in parallel with reducing station. Further I´m looking into thermodynamic calculation of stage and chosen parts of turbine, making of project design of connection of rotary reduction to steam circulation. Dissertation is concluded by designed cross-section of turbine.
Flow structure in shaft spillway area of of Labská dam
Šváb, Jiří ; Pařílková, Jana (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is divided into literary research and practical part (own measurement). The content of the literary research is a description of the shaft spillway, the Labská dam and the measuring equipment. The practical part is focused on measurement of the horizontal velocity, flow distribution and water surface elevation on the shaft spillway physical model. The results are horizontal velocity for two levels, water surface elevation and flow distribution.
Hydraulic analysis of small water supply system
Sucháček, Tomáš ; Kučera, Tomáš (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
This document aims on aplication of sophisticated software programs to accomplish hydraulic analysis of real water supply. In this work is stated a list and description of software enabling to accomplish static or long-term hydraulic analysis of water supply when the most world used program EPANET 2.0 is described more deeply. There is described working of a EPANET and his algorithm also there are explain principles on which EPANET is based. During the hydraulic analysis of real system was used two sophisticated software it were MikeNet and EPANET 2.0. With using these two sophisticated programs was processed hydraulic analysis of chosen water supply of small consumption area, during this analysis was studied influence of method distribution node´s demand on achieved results also was created map of velocity in water pipeline. This work is first step for continuing Master´s thesis which will be using results of hydraulic analysis for create plan of elimination sludge in water supply.
Vehicles speed measurement
Schoř, Zdeněk ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with vehicles speed measurement. The first part is a theoreticalanalysis with an overview of the measurement devices, which are being used nowadays. The second part of the thesis focuses on creating a method for vehicles speed measure-ment in a common traffic situaction. Measurement is based on digital image processingfrom a camera and determining the movement in the image. For movement determination is used license plate detection and other possible methodsare explained in the thesis for future improvement.Created measurement method is using vehicle with known proportions for visual scenecalibration. The MATLAB programming environment is used to detect license plate andfor calibration.Test measurement is conducted in the thesis, which is compared with other referencespeed measurement method. The purpose of the thesis is to use the proposed method to reduce the cost of measuringthe speed of vehicles and contribute to safety and smoothness on the roads.
Electromagnetic current meters of velocity
Březina, Jiří ; Zubík, Pavel (referee) ; Žoužela, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis explains the issue of electromagnetic current meter of velocity. A survey of all available standards on these devices is carried out. Devices are described technically and metrologically. There are also described the possibilities of usage, operating conditions as well as problems of calibration of these devices. Information on available commercially available devices is provided along with a description of all relevant parameters. One selected device model is put to the test of measurement the velocity on the calibration tank of the laboratory, thus the experiences from real calibration measurement are gained and described.
Car Movement Measurent on Carrera Racing Tracks
Šíma, Vojtěch ; Malaník, Petr (referee) ; Rydlo, Štěpán (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a measuring device that allows to measure quantities such as speed, acceleration and centripetal force while the car is moving on the Carrera racetrack. An embedded system will be created for measurement, where the main result is a printed circuit board that was created and mounted according to a schematic design composed of currently available electronic components. As the board moves along the race track, data is then recorded based on the implemented program, which is stored on a memory medium and later processed for a suitable visual presentation. Based on this data, it is then possible to analyse how the model behaves when moving on the autotrack and which factors have an effect on this movement.
