Kršková, Nikola ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is a proposal of a winery with a wine shop, wine salon and tasting rooms. Furthermore, a four-star hotel for sixty persons with a restaurant, a small wellness center, and all of course with sufficient technical background. This newly designed building is located in the undeveloped part of the town of Mikulov between the Turold and Růžový vrch nature parks. Růžový vrch has become an inspiration for this design. I design here terraces as an analogy to the cultivation of vines on the terraces, where the investor is also the owner of the vineyards grown here. The concept was based on the slope of the terrain and the orientation to the cardinal points. I also tried to make the most valuable views and suppress the view of the technical zone southwest of the parcel. An important element of expression of my proposal is front facade system made of ceramic „squaretubes“, which primarily serve as a sunbreaker.

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of Centre of Winery for the Modré Hory area. The proposed building should respect the surrounding environment, and attract tourists in the same time, by architectural form, urban planning and design. The plot for construction is located near the village Němčičky u Hustopečí on the hilltop of Nové hory. Currently, vineyards are being restored, which almost completely cover the whole area. The object of the wine center includes a canteen for tourists, a tasting room, a cellar for storage of bottles and technical and hygienic facilities. Production component is it's own electric energy cumulator. Using a renewable wind source. Part of the proposal should be the overview tower, making the site more attractive. The object does not process grapevine, it only archives bottles and works as a showroom and stop at a wine-growing cycle path. It has a simple rectangular ground plan with a sloping roof to cover the entry part and to shield the large glazing. On the ground floor there is a café with a background, a tasting room, hygienic facilities, a brick cellar and technical rooms in the basement. The facade of the building is covered with Siberian larch wood. A viewing tower is located at the west side of the building, almost at the top of the hill. The tower has a cylindrical shape and measures almost 14.5 m. It is also clad with wood of the same type. The production of electricity is provided here by 9 vertical wind turbines located along the northern boundary of the building on the artificial wall.
LAHOFER WINERY DOBŠICE
Nytrová, Bohdana ; Dvořák, Martin (referee) ; Myslín, Jiří (advisor) ; Hradil, Dušan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis designs new buildings of the Lahofer Winery in Dobšice u Znojma. It is based on a study carried out in the studio AG32. The complex will consist of production line and warehouses with the overall production of 1.000.000 bottles a year, altogether with a public and administration building where the wine will be exhibited. The building plot is located on the eastern edge of the land registered area of the nearby village Suchohrdly. The plot is undeveloped agricultural land full of vineyards, arable land and gardens. The ground plan is the most profound part of the design. The circumference of the building symbolizes a wine grape or wood-shavings which refer to a famous woodcarver Jan Lahofer whose name the winery carries. The many atriums create half-enclosed space protected from the wind and serve as handling areas of the production; a terrace or an attractive entrance. The building consists of four successive matters on two levels. The production is placed in three of them. It creates a circle on a single level so that there is a need for only one entrance to the handling area. The public part of the structure is located on a separate level perched on the slope above. It is predominantly made up of showrooms and restaurants. The accommodation units for guests and employees can also be found here. The building is made of a steel framed structure with a hanging facade and a flat roof. The massiveness is softened by the glass facade in the atrium and other glass parts - some of which are as tall as the building itself.
