Masaryk elementary schools in Strakonice in the context of the school architecture of the 1st half of the 20th century.

The bachelor thesis of the Masaryk general school in Strakonice deals with the topic of school architecture and focuses on a building under the then name of Masaryk general schools in Strakonice. The construction is mainly studied from an artistic and historical point of view and is presented in the interwar period of Czechoslovakia. The main aim of the work is to provide a detailed description of the building and to fit into the context of school buildings in the first half of the 20th century in the South Bohemian region. Further, the work shows how this topic was reflected in the publications of that time and, last but not least, also mentions the urban development of Strakonice in the early 20th century.

Children's choir Fere Angeli

The bachelor thesis focuses on the children's choir Fere Angeli which is a part of the Elementary Art School in Strakonice. The main part of the thesis concentrates on concerts and prizes the choir has been awarded with in either Czech Republic or foreign countries. It also focuses on the choir's training camps, lessons needed for improvement of its singing technique and rehearsals. Furthermore, the thesis mentions the choirmaster Marcela Miková and other choirs active in Strakonice also led by her.

Preparation of water course revitalization study

This diploma thesis deals with the design of ox-bow lake revitalization measures, located southwest to the city Strakonice. Due to its charakteristics, ox-bow lake represents high-value biodiversity area. Recently, due to a disturbation in the aquatic regime, this area is threatened in sediment issue. Practical part of the diploma thesis is focused on the sediment and water level research and monitoring of plant and animal species. Obtained data result in particular revitalization measures.

The first quarter century of Share fez company in Strakonice. Establishement of management-conduct and undertaking strategy.

The Bachelor's thesis deals with the Austrian Fez Company later called Fez Company Ltd. in Strakonice in the form of business history method. The emphasis is put on economic development, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial strategies and management. The social development is purpously not the object of this thesis. In the introduction it presents problems of the fez production in Habsburg monarchy and primarily in Strakonice region in the 19th century. The mentioned first quarter of the century of the Fez Company Ltd. is ranging between the years 1899 and 1926, that means since the establishment of this jont-stock company till 1925, when it was banned to wear fez hats in Turkey or more precisely a year later when the ban had an impact on the economic development of the company. anglicky Jewish community in Strakonic This bachelor's thesis focuses on the fate and welfare of the Jewish community of the city of Strakonice. In the first part is a brief presentation of Strakonice city and the introduction of the Jewish community in the Czech Republic. Here is described the activity of the local Jewish community and the livelihood of the Jewish population. In Strakonice these inhabitants excelled especially in the textile sector and celebrated their success abroad as well. In the second part are recorded four stories of Jewish people. The main objective is to show the stories of witnesses who experienced the World War II period and each one of them had a different faith. Collectivization of Agriculture in the Trebohostice Region: Changes in the Region and the Society in the Course of Rural Collectivization

(in English): This bachelor's thesis is concerned with the story of a small village in the southern part of the Czech Republic, and adjacent areas, during the process of collectivization. It is a micro- historical study based in part on sources available in the Strakonice district archive and in the private archive of the ZD Trebohostice farmers' cooperative, as well as an oral history project based on interviews with contemporaries. Using the examples of several nearby socialist cooperative farms, the study records and analyzes changes in management. However, it is also concerned with the stances that the local residents assumed to the changes brought about by collectivization, as well as with the changes in their perceptions over time. While the study includes the period just before collectivization, its main focus is on the post-collectivization period and on the repercussions of collectivization. The study also considers economy, its form and the changes it underwent over the years.

This thesis focuses primarily on the description of the political conditions in the area of the former political district of Strakonice between May 1946 and February 1948. Hence, the main focus lies on the topics such as the activity and agenda of ONV Strakonice and MNV Strakonice with regard to the personal and political structure of these authorities following the parliamentary elections in the spring of 1946 and the radical changes after the political coup on February 25th 1948. In this respect the thesis tracks the alterations in the distribution of political power in the region and offers a clear view of the transition from the unstable post- war democracy to the communistic dictatorship. This diploma thesis maps the history of Basketball Club of Strakonice. It describes it's origin and further formation. In the introduction I have set the development of basketball in a global and also national context. In the second part I described basketball within it's regional form. The history is chronologically divided into consecutive periods. This work also contains rosters of player and trainers. I have also added specific archival data to support successes and failures of the team.

Study - Regulatory Plan Strakonice - Podskalí

The thesis deals with territorial development management using valid territorial planning tools. The goal is to ensure an adequate form of sustainable development for the town of Strakonice. For this purpose a territorial study of the Podskali location in the town of Strakonice was completed.
Searches are compiled in the first part of the bachelor thesis on the topic of territorial studies and legislative regulation plans.
The next part is focused on thorough studies of valid territorial planning documentations, territorial planning foundations and documentsstrategies concerning Strakonice. Moreover, a personal research of a worked upon territorial study was done.
The next step processes three possible scenarios for the development of the town. Furthermore, criteria for work proposal evaluations were stated. These criteria were selected by past studies of current tools of territorial and strategic plans for the town of Strakonice.
Based on the evaluations of work proposals a final proposal of territorial study, for the developmental area Strakonice in the location of Podskali, is created. This proposal serves, furthermore, as a foundation for further creation of regulatives in this developmental area, in detail, corresponding to the appendix no. 11 of bill no. 500/2006 of the collection in its current version.
