Digital communication of Czech Olympic Committee during Olympic Games

Following thesis is focused on analysing digital communications of Czech Olympic Committee - a national committee aiming to develop and disseminate the Olympic ideals and to represent and ensure the participation of the Czech Republic at the Olympics. It is also one of the most important subject in the Czech sport. The main task of the thesis is to analyse all digital communications of Czech Olympic committee during the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 through social networks, break down all the available data to create a comprehensive summary and based on it create more effective recommendations for digital communication during the Olympic Games in PyeongChang 201. The theoretical part introduces the reader with general information about marketing and Public Relations. Section further maps the development of communication, its forms and familiarizes readers with the most used social networks of today. The practical part describes in general communication of Czech Olympic Committee during the Olympic Games in Rio, its forms and its main objectives. The digital channels provide accurate data, which will be used as base upon the preparation of a summary analysis. Using Social Networking in Education

The subject of diploma thesis are online social networks and how they can be used in education. The first part deals how social networks can help in education, it analyses communi-cation as crucial aspect educational process. Theoretical part is also trying to define online social network with the aim on education, few of social networks are presented with exam-ples how can they be used in practise. The practical part consists in the implementation of a chosen social network (proba-bly Yammer) into the real teaching courses of the Department of system analysis - intro-ductory on subjects 4SA615 - Information Management and 4SA526 - New media and social networks. Questionnaire is used to evaluate the results and to get feedback from the student on the implemented project (social network). Recommendations are proposed based on the feedback, which could be applied to improve the courses in upcoming semes-ters. In the best-case scenario, the conclusion of this diploma thesis could lead to imple-menting the social network for whole department, or even university.
Identity in the age of Internet communication

This diploma thesis seeks to describe the basic concepts of sociological approaches to identity as well as related concepts from the sociological reflections on the Internet. First, the thesis introduces the fundamental ideas of identity theories, as they were formulated by the authors of symbolic interactionism in the first half of the 20th century. Subsequently, the key sociological concepts of individual and collective identities are described in more details and in this context there is also reminded the social construction of reality theory, that provides an explanation of the connection between the individual and collective levels of analysis. Finally, this thesis discusses concepts reflecting the relationship between individual identities and communication on the Internet, especially within so-called virtual communities, and also introduces concepts, which seeks to characterize the role of Internet in the processes of collective identities formation.
Computer at home and at school with regard to the risks to the childs personal development

This thesis on "Computer at home and at school, having regard to the risks to the child's personality development", discusses how to use computers in school, especially in the education, home and leisure of the child. Work emphasizes the risks resulting from improper use of information and communication technology (especially computers and the Internet) and offers solutions to minimize these risks. The aim is to acquaint the reader with the emerging phenomena due to using computers, such as the already extensive social networking, cyberbullying and "addiction" emerging on the Internet and computer games.

The theme of this thesis is to assess the behavior while using the public communication network Facebook. The number of users of social networks increases, as well as number of photographs, videos and other input that is stored on the Internet. Particularly, young people try to maintain or further develop their contacts by this way. Perhaps it is a new type of social convergence, which is more or less based on voyeurism, or just an expression of self- realization. In any case this behavior impacts shaping the social relationships of networking users and their free time in a real life. Through a research of Facebook users, this work is looking for uncovering the thinking process of people when publishing private matters via the Internet. Its main goal is to explore the usage of Facebook, depending on the knowledge of its surround. First of all, it is interested in users' network settings experience. Because the adjustment of Privacy Policy may prevent risk of misuse of the social networking, which may lead to disruption of the privacy of all users involved. Youth tourism as a new form of tourism in the globalized world

The topic of this diploma thesis is constantly expanding segment of tourism, known as youth tourism. This diploma thesis describes and examines possibilities of a new form of tourism, a type of tourism aimed at young travellers and which developed along with globalization. The aim of the thesis is to explore this new emerging segment, including its specifications that relate to the development of current society. In the second part there is the evaluation of the questionnaire survey as supportive instrument for validation of described segment and comparison to young travellers from the Czech Republic. The conclusion offers suggestions for service providers focused on target segment.

This Bachelor thesis describes problem of social networking and its influence to everyday usage of personal computers. It introduces project KDE Silk, which is integrating web services into workspace of desktop environment and making daily work not only with social networks easier and more pleasant. As practical part of this thesis is presented addon for KDE Plasma - Geoweb implemented as part of KDE Silk. Geoweb is used for managing actual user location with additional information relevant to the given position. Various types of information are provided as plugins for Geoweb.
Social Network Integration into an Information Portal

Bakalářská práce byla vypracována na studijním pobytu na "Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Vila Real, Portugalsko", a je zpracována v angličtině. Cílem bakalářské práce "Integrace sociálních sítí do informačního portálu" bylo vytvoření portálu, který by předvedl způsoby integrace současných sociálních sítí na internetu do jednoho portálu. Práce obsahuje seznámení se základními pojmy v této oblasti, jako je Social Web, Web 2.0 a sociální sítě. Dále představuje jednotlivé sociální sítě, které byly intergovány do portálu, a technologie a standardy k tomu použité, tj. OpenID, OAuth a OpenSocial. Dále práce popisuje také jednotlivé etapy vývoje zadaného webového portálu. V závěru práce je také shrnutí a zhodnocení výsledků a zamyšlení nad možnými rozšířeními výsledného portálu.

Among the important part of the work also includes the advantages and disadvantages of networking. In the practical part, there is described in detail the process of creating its own account on the social portal LinkedIn and its subsequent use.
Ethical aspects of the use of social networks by students of second level at primary schools in České Budějovice.

Work is primary aimed to use social networking by students of second level at primary schools or by kids at the stage of adolescence. It reflects the risks in using social networks (specifically Facebook ) by theusers themselves , but also the providers and companies aimed to the monitoring of social networks for marketing purposes. This thesis also discussing aquestion of use the ethics level in these subjects. In theoretical part are explained terms such as social networking, Facebook and definition of target group students of second level at primary schools by developmental psychology. Research is aimed on a specific area of České Budějovice, purposefully has been selected primary schools on a housing estate in the city center which includes various ethnic groups, and social classes. Practical part contains a survey that confirms the statistical facts about Facebook in Czech Republic, as well as monitoring the time-consuming use of socialnetworks in target groups and try to reflect whether the degree of freedom corresponds to the rate offered responsibility. As next, this chapter deals with issues regarding awareness of the target group related to the profile security and future fate of the shared data.
