The development of Dagmar Damkova's media image in 2003-2017

The main topic of this diploma thesis is the development of Mrs. Dagmar Damková media image between 2003-2017. Mrs. Damková is a former football referee and became the first woman who managed a football match in the Czech 1st Men's League in 2003. She has been professionally successful and popular with the public and the media in a purely male environment. She has become one of the world's best female referee and has been managing the prestigious games of the biggest foreign events. She ended her career as a referee in 2011 and began her new career path as a functionary. Besides this, she became a chairwomen of the Committee of the Referees of the Football Association of the Czech Republic. She was directly responsible for the actions of the referees, and was therefore often criticized by the media. Her relationship with the influential but controversial functionary Roman Berbr was also known to the public at that time, which has increased the interest of her person from the media. Mrs. Damková had withdrawn from the public after leaving the Refereeing Commission and the media did not refer to her so often. Communication between the referee, the player and the coach in ice hockey

Title: Communication between referee, player and trainer in ice-hockey. Objectives: The main task of this thesis is to compare angles of view of the communication between referee, the player and the trainer from the view of all three sides. Another task is to create ideal methodical recommendations as to how such comunication should look. Methods: Bachelor thesis was conceived as a quantitative research using the questionnaire survey with elements of qualitative evaluation of the data. An open and closed questions was used to compile the anonymous questionnaire. Status of professional sportsmen and referees from the perspective of personal income tax

The thesis deals with the issue of legal status of professional sportsmen performing collective sports and professional referees active in collective sports from the perspective of personal income tax. This issue is now vividly discussed in relation with a recent judgment of the Supreme Administrative Court from 17th July 2017, case no. 6 Afs 278/2016. The objective of this thesis is to analyse the potential status of a professional sportsman and a referee and subsequently, depending on this status, analyse opportunities of taxation of their incomes according to the relevant national legislation and the Supreme Administrative Court's case law. The key question is whether the sportsman and referee should be regarded as an employee in accordance with the Income Tax Act or as a self - employed person. Partial objective of the thesis is to assess whether current practice in the Czech Republic corresponds with the legislation or as the case may be suggest an acceptable solution which would reflect the needs of professional sport with respect to the current circumstances in the Czech sports. Roman Berbr's and Czech football referees case in chosen media

The thesis deals with the second vice-chairman of the Football asociation of the Czech Republic Roman Berbr and his wife, the then chairwoman of a referees's commission, Dagmar Damková case, which was started by Libor Kovařík's interview with the Czech daily Sport. Kovařík points out the situation between Czech football referees. This thesis aims to describe and analyze how the chosen media reflected and descibe this case. It will analyze the period of two months between 24th of August 2015 and 24th of October 2015. The beginnig of this period is clearly defined by Kovařík's interview, whose first part was published on the 24th of August. The thesis will analyze daily Sport that stood at the beggining of this case and on-line daily Aktuálně.cz, in which journalist Luděk Mádl known for his writing about corruption in czech football works.

The preparation of women floorball referees to preside over professional competitions.

Title: The preparation of women floorball referees to preside over professional competitions. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to introduce the reader into the preparation of women floorball referees to preside over professional competitions and then compare with practice. This will provide some guidance for the referees how to proceed in the preparation of the presiding of partial match, as well as for the overall pre-season training. In the research part of this paper will be evaluated the questionnaire survey, whose aim should be the assessment of the current state of preparation of women referees in the Czech Republic and abroad. Methods: This work is based on a literature review of scientific books, articles, and relevant Internet resources. Additional information was drawn from my own experiences and the experiences of colleagues from which is also based the survey. List of respondents of the questionnaire survey was considerably limited because of the overall low number of referees, who preside and can preside the matches of higher competitions, and all the more so as regards women. Czech Judo community is a cultural group that is comprised of athletes, coaches and higher referee officials. Nevertheless, this cultural group has one serious problem from the cultural and social term point of view. Every group, or better to say a formation, from which this community consists of, understands its role in this cultural group differently to the others. The research examines the relationships between particular groups. I mainly emphasize the methodology of research in this work.
Burnout Syndrome of the Czech Republic Labour Office Workers from Noninsurance Social Benefits Department

My thesis deals with the topic of burning out of Department of non-insurance social benefits (DNSB) Labor Office workers in the Czech Republic. We can find a lot of definitions of Burn-out Syndrome in the literature. Some of them are focused on the emotional, mental or physical exhaustion, others interpret the syndrome as a process with certain development. Nevertheless, Burn-out Syndrome is a pack of symptoms including lack of zest and energy, life joy and mainly enthusiasm needed for work. There are various functions of the Labor office CZ: to fulfill tasks in the employment area, protection of employees in case of employer´s insolvency and first of all, to administrate, decide and pay non-insurance social benefits. Social workers and referees who work in DNSB are extremely endangered with Burn-out Syndrome because of their specific work. Their job requires daily talks with clients who do not have only one but various problems and who are unable to solve them by themselves. And these clients usually expect more service than the office workers can provide. The aim of my thesis is to describe the Burn-out Syndrome issue and its appearance in the group of the social workers and referees of the DNSB Labor Office CZ. Partial aim of my thesis is to find out if the workers have information how to precede it and to compare the difference between small and big town workers. Other partial aim is to find out if the workers subjectively suffer exhaustion. Three hypotheses were set up. Workers of DNSB in bigger towns feel subjectively more exhausted than those in smaller ones. Social workers have more information how to precede it than referees. Referees feel subjectively more exhausted than social workers. Flowingly there is a survey question: what do the workers in the DNSB Labor Office CZ know about Burn-out Syndrome? A quantity strategy of survey was set up via using questionnaire. There were 148 DNSB workers in the survey sample who filled in completely and correctly the questionnaire. As a complement strategy a quality data survey was used via questioning method, semi-structured interview. 8 workers from total 249 workers were chosen by random choice to be interviewed - this group forms the second survey sample. Results of quantity survey are presented with descriptive statistics using graphs and charts. The set up hypotheses were tested with statistic method of Chi-squared test. The results show that DNSB workers in bigger cities do not feel more exhausted than those in smaller ones. Social workers of DNSB have more information how to precede it than referees. Referees do not feel more exhausted than social workers of DNSB. For analysis of quality survey, a hand written record was chosen. There were identified three clusters: awareness about Burn-out Syndrome, perception of clients and personal feelings. The results of quality part show that DNSB workers have information about the Syndrome, but the information is incomplete - sometimes even confusing in the sense of focusing on the unimportant peculiarities instead of core causes. Regarding individual answers, most of the workers see the clients and work with the clients as something unpleasant, not entertaining. Moreover, we can imply from the survey a necessity of specialized training about Burn-out Syndrome focused on the workers. Practical anticipated benefit of the thesis is providing study materials to the students of the Health and Social Faculty of the Southern Bohemian University in České Budějovice and providing the materials to the Labor Office CZ.
