New Faces
Pokorná, Barbora ; Brožka, Petr (referee) ; Kvíčala, Petr (advisor)
The project New Faces is a series of portraits dealing with the theme of identity and its loss, human individuality and the phenomenon of ideal of beauty. Each of paintings depict different views on the same face, base on personal confessions of portrayed and his friends. Thus we can observe confrontation of the "subjective" and the "objective", where this supposed "objectivity" acquire the relative value in the context of other pictures. The project points to the problem of self-perception and it explores how human perception distorts the reality, especially if more factors (than just a visual image of reality) affects the person.
Mamocs
Mojsl, Nikola ; Maixner, Miroslav (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
The main target of my bachelor’s thesis is to present the fictitious tribe of Mamoks, which I create with the help of hyperrealistic procedures in combination with expressive elements. Subsequently, a very non-traditional display comes to existence with this method, combining reality with fiction and fantasy. The work is composed from four sculptures which create two different stories afterwards.
Untitled
Cáb, Martin ; Hodboď, Tomáš (referee) ; Stratil, Václav (advisor)
In my final work I made a portrait of Jesus Christ. Due to the historical development of Christian iconography is an abstract concept, in which Christ is depicted with only simple concrete elements which are significant for his personality as the general level and particularly in my personal.

Rišiaňová, Zuzana ; Janoščík,, Václav (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
In the form of paint, I illustrate portraits of people on a tablet, taking them from their electronic appearance on social sites, and creating objects in which I install them on a clothes-hanger in the form of jackets.
Movement
Rišiaňová, Zuzana ; Janoščík,, Václav (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The diploma project Move is a simple 3D digital game in the genre typology of platform games, specifically of an atmospheric-meditative nature, with elements of a walking simulator from a third-person perspective shooter (TPS). Its interactive content is based on topics such as portraits, wandering, meditation, painting and personal mythology. Through the author's stylization of the theme and graphic processing, my goal is to create a playable prototype of a digital game containing interactive elements, with a controllable character named Mo and the atmospheric environment of the levels through which the player passes. Using the medium of digital games, I would like to point out the possibilities of communication means, that it offers within the art world.
Precarious Society
Schlosserová, Jana ; Lukášová,, Helena (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
The installation is formed from the fifth sculptures, individuals, larger than life size. Their bodies are just shapes and surfaces, which leave place for the rest of the human form. The form is preserved only in black-and-white photography, in portraits, which are part of the sculptures. They ostensibly do nothing, like stopping in time. However they move, but for that move is neccessary initial impetus and it is the role of the viewer. Instability of sculptures is an expression of the unstable position of the human beings in today's society (the origin of instability). Sculptures creates society thanks for their quantity, community and contact.
Triumph of Ugliness
Kolářová, Monika ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Houser, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor theses is my engagement with phenomenon of body, focused on the theme of beauty and ugliness. Through the Dionysian body type I am trying to capture the weight of physical imperfections. In contrast with the delicacy and subtlety glaze paintings I am trying to achieve a balance between the representatives of the general phenomenon of beauty and ugliness.
The family and its depiction in the past and present
Hájková, Barbora ; Daniel, Ladislav (advisor) ; Fremlová, Vendula (referee)
The family is the center of interest in contemporary society, which approaches it socially, politically and philosophically in different ways, especially the current social and interpersonal situation. It has long been one of the valuable subjects of art. Its depiction has a long history and never-ending inspirational power. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is devoted to the topic of the family, its position from a sociological and historical point of view, as well as its depiction across the art of the past and present. Specific artists of the past who worked with the theme of family, were inspired or depicted their own family are listed here in more detail. It also includes modern and contemporary art, their different approach and grasp of the theme of family. The didactic part deals with how to sensitively approach this topic to today's children's audience and integrate it into art education lessons. In the practical part, I work with the theme of family, a kind of album will be created, a collection of works that are closely connected with my own family. A set of drawings, photographs, collages supplemented with incidents or statements of individual family members. The whole album will form a kind of complete picture of my family. KEYWORDS family, picture, painting, portrait, family...
Poet Karel Doskočil
Krásenská, Klára ; Sládek, Miloš (advisor) ; Kudlová, Klára (referee)
Karel Doskočil (1908-1962), historiographer, archivist, editor and poet passes unnoticed over a long period of time. This thesis' primary goal is to introduce Doskočil's work in the literary historical context, including two published collections Větve stromů (1941) and Milosrdenství (1947) and other unpublished texts as a part of Doskočil's estate. Approaching Doskočil's literary work in its wholeness (as enabled though access to personal archive) as well as putting it into perspective of the so-called catholic literature appears to be a desirable reminder of an author threatened by collective oblivion. The thesis also remembers Doskočil's scientific activities, altough it does not constitute a crucial subject of our work.
