Image Texture Representation and Detection
Zachar, Tomáš ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis presents methods used for texture classification and implements programme which is able to realize simple classification and which is capable of generating dynamic bank of filters according to actual texture library. For feature extraction is used combination of Gabor filters with Hu-moments. As classifier there is used algorithm SVM.
Face recognition in digital images
Hauser, Václav ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the detection and recognition of faces in the image. The content of this thesis is a description of methods that are used for the face detection and recognition. Method described in detail is the principal component analysis (PCA). This method is subsequently used in the implementation of face recognition in video sequence. In conjunction with the implementation work describes the OpenCV library package, which was used for implementation, specifically the C ++ API. Finally described application tests were done on two different video sequences.
Detection of Person in Image
Bednář, Luboš ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This work deals with detection of person in image. At the beginning, there are described some methods to be used for this type of detection. Of these we chose a method histograms of oriented gradients. For classification we use SVM. Part of this work is the design and implementation of a simple detector.
Board Game User Interface with a Camera
Dále aplikace analyzuje stav hry a rozhodne o svém následujícím tahu.
Camera Based Object Tracking
Psota, Michal ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work focuses on theoretical description, proposal and implementation of a program for coloured object tracking by a robot. Picture processing uses wrapper of OpenCV library - EmguCV. The application communicates with the robot and guides it to track a specified coloured object. The program is implemented in C# language.
Parking Assistant
Mareček, David ; Dluhoš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kubát, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of parking assistant. It introduces the types of sensors for distance measurement and possibilities of using camera system. In implementation there are used ultrasonic sensors, namely rangefinder SRF08 and web cameras. User interface that combines data from individual sensors was designed and implemented. Parking assistant provides function for edge detection, sound and graphics signalization together with automatic night mode.
Forensic Optical Fingerprint Comparator
Dvořák, Marek ; Klubal, Ondřej (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
My Bachelor Thesis deals with the design and creation of an application that replaces the function of forensic optical comparator. It also describes features of fingerprints and their prominent points, which are used for recognition of individuals. Work with fingerprints is very sensitive as for the quality of images. For this reason a Gabor filter has been implemented and described. Furthermore, the thesis describes basic functions used for work with images.
Hough's transform for circle detection
Kazík, Martin ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the implementation of Hough transform algorithm for circle recognition. Algorithm is implemented in C++ language using open source library OpenCv. As a development environment was chosen Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. At first there is general description of classical Hough transform for line and circle recognition. Then thesis contains description of particular steps of Hough transform algorithm and description of OpenCv functions witch are used in these steps. There is a detail description of functions for converting image to grayscale, smoothing image by Gaussian filter and Canny edge detector for edge detecting in smoothed image. Efficiency and speed of algorithm is increased by using function for finding possible centers. This function using the fact that line perpendicular to the chord of circle and going thought its middle point at the same time have to cross the center of the circle. Results of particular stages of algorithm (converting to grayscale, smoothing by Gaussian filter, edge detection, creating of possible centers accumulator and drawing circles) are presented on ultrasonic image of collagen arterial substitute. In the second part of the thesis the algorithm is used for detection of artery in frames of video captured by ultrasound. There is a description of automatic method for evaluating of success of artery detection. Success of detection is analyzed by changing values of important algorithm parameters. From series of tests there are defined ideal parameters of algorithm for artery detection in the video.
3D model
Sejkora, Martin ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This document focuse on computer vision and backward spatial reconstruction of the object from camera images. It describes the theoretical foundations needed to understand the problem and how to solve it. Software solution is created in C ++ language and uses OpenCV library.
Longtime Video
Kubiš, Matěj ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis includes the creation of a graphic user interface for the management of a set of photographies, its navigation, playback and subsequent export into videoformat. It studies the problems of timelapse video and deals with the implementation of algorithms concerning the removal of undesirable effects rising during the process of its creation. To be specific, it processes the interpolation of fluctuating levels of brightness in the sequence and the stabilization of image sequences acquired without a tripod.
