BACHEROL THESIS ABSTRACT Author's first name and surname: Jakub Kolarčík Bacherol thesis supervizor: Mgr. Jindřiška Hálková Oponent: Title of bacherol thesis: Activation of deep stabilizing system and its impact on scapula stability and shoulder centralization in patients suffering from shoulder pain syndrome Abstract: Bachelor thesis is focused on the impact of activation deep stabilizing system an its impact on scapular stabilization and shoulder centration in patients suffering from shoulder pain syndrome. For purposes of this work three subjects with shoulder pain syndrome of different etiologies were selected. Age of those subjects is between 23 and 78 years. During 3 months time every subject undertook ten therapeutical interventions. Goal of this thesis was to find out if there is a correlation amid shoulder pain, stability of the scapula, shoulder centration and activity of the deep stabilizing system of spine. Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Acral coactivation therapy (ACT) and Coordinatively-loading kinesiotherapy (K-Z K) Anatomy and kinesiology of the shoulder complex, deep stabilizing system of the spine, selected diagnoses and therapeutic methods used during therapy are described in the theoretical part of the thesis. Three case reports of patients suffering with shoulder pain are...
Posture changes to women in productive age who are subdued into yoga therapy
FRDLÍKOVÁ, Eva
The topic of this bachelor thesis is a yoga therapy and its impact on posture on women in productive age who suffer from vertebral algical syndrom (or VAS) The aim of this tesits was to find out in which way does yoga exercise impact a posture on women in productive age and if the yoga erxice influence back pain of women in productive age The bachelor thesis was divided into several parts. The first part is dedicated to VAS issue and terms like deep stabilization systém of the spine, breathing, posture and the spine itself. In the second part I aimed for yoga itself, where I have outlined yoga history, principlas of yoga practising, what is the meaning ang purpose of each yoga exercise, how to do the full yoga breath and what is the systém of "locks". The third part contains of a methodology and a description of the therapy and to the end also results of my research. In the end of thus thesis can be a discussion and a conclusion found. My qualitative research took 4 months in total and included 3 sfemale subjects in the age around 45. The therapy too place once a week, or once two weeks, and lasted for 60 minutes. Subjects had must done the exercise, which was done under supervision on therapy sessions, also at home every day to deepen the therapy effect. Each yoga exercise consisted of yoga breathing exercises, relaxing exercises, "greeting the sun" exercise and od classical asanas from Hatha yoga. Considering results of the practical part of my thesis I can say, that there came to total pain-relief or at least the pain decreased by each subject up. There also came to some improvements in movement coordination and to changes in posture holding in positive way up. This work might serve as a study materiál for general public, physiotherapist, yoga trainers or for those, who just too yoga lessons up.
View of physiotherapy on Physical Education at the University of South Bohemia in the city of Ceske Budejovice
BUŘIČOVÁ, Kateřina
The bachelor thesis deals with the teaching of a Physical Education at the University of South Bohemia in the city of Ceske Budejovice from the view of physiotherapy. In the first part of this thesis are described the anatomy and physiology of the axial system, the muscles of the deep stabilization system of the spine and fascias. Also there is a description of the scoliosis as a pathological condition of an axial system. In the last chapter there are information about principle and dividing of stretching. In the second part there is practical research uses mixed methods. The research set contains nineteen respondents Faculty of Education and Physiotherapy students. The research set was chosen according to specified criteria. The data were collected during the observation and interview. Every respondent was interviewed face to face. The main target was to map the teaching of Physical Education at the University of South Bohemia form the view of Physiotherapy at the chosen set. The main target by the students of the Faculty of Education was to get know if they perceive the sport in a context of healthy exercise. By the students of Physiotherapy, who have the Physical Education in their curriculum, was researched if they are educated with respect to healthy exercises. The research in the first group shows that these students have very low knowledge about the deep stabilization system of the spine and its importance for doing an physical activity. On the other side they perceive the stretching as a significant part of exercise. The students of Physiotherapy are not satisfied with current teaching of Physical Education, which lack versatility, diversity and connection with Physiotherapist knowledge.

1 Abstract Title: Exploitation of regular exercise based on the elements of developmental kinesiology for people suffering with back pain. Objectives: The aim of my diploma thesis was observing the effect of a group motional program based on tenets of developmental kinesiology for function of the motional system of clients suffering from back pain. Methods: The theoretical part of my diploma thesis was done with a method of literary recherché using technical literature, articles and studies. Experiment was chosen for the practical part, quasi in particular, which was complemented by method of qualitative research, personal case study in particular. There are two clinical casuistries paced in my thesis. There were two following methods for collecting data during my research: kinesiology analysis focused on anamnesis, check-up by sight, check-up by touch and functional probing (dynamic check-up of spine, diagnostically testing of deep stabilizing muscles.) Another methods used in my diploma thesis were assessments of pain with a usage of visual analogy scale and semi-structured interview. Pre-tests and post-test were identical. 10 people suffering from chronic back pain in an area of cervical spine or lumbar spine (5 clients suffering from chronic back pain in an area of lumbar spine and 5 clients suffering...

Author: Veronika Andová Thesis title: Casuistry of physiotherapy care for a patient diagnosed with cervicobrachial syndrome. Thesis goal: The goal of the thesis is to summarize theoretical and methodological foundations concerning cervicobrachial syndrome and to describe their subsequent use in the rehabilitation of the patient with said diagnosis. Methodological approach: The thesis is divided into two main sections - general and specific one. The general section contains anatomical, biochemical a kinesiological knowledge related to vertebrogenic illnesses. Then, the description of cervicobrachial syndrome, its clinical symptoms, etiology and treatment options are presented. Specific part is the core of the thesis. It was prepared on the basis of countinuous professional practice at the Military University Hospital Prague in the period from January 6, 2014 to January 31, 2014. It consists of detailed case report of a patient with cervicobrachial syndrome, offering history, input kinesiology analysis, short-term and long-term physiotherapic plan, the course of therapy, kinesiology exit examination and evaluation of the effect of therapy. Key words: physiotherapy, casuistry, cervical spine, the deep stabilizing system of the spine, cervicobrachial syndrome
Definition of new referential values of maximum inspiratory and expiratory pressures and P0.1 values in normal population aged 14 - 15 years
Kepková, Jana ; Šulc, Jan (advisor) ; Koudelková, Alena (referee)
The aim of this study is definition reference values including reference equations for parameters PImax, PEmax and P0.1 of the normal Czech population aged 14-15 years. 102 subjects were examined for this purpose (55 boys and 47 girls). Except the reference values for boys and girls, this work includes correlations of mouth pressures with anthropometric data and also with other spirometric parameters. In case of boys were found a significant correlation of PEmax parameter with weight, BMI and PEF. In group of boys we also found a correlation of PImax with BMI and PImax with IC. Parameter P0.1 correlates only with VT. In group of girls we found a significant correlations of PImax, PEmax and P0.1 with PEF and MEF25.

Burianová, Zuzana ; Hošková, Blanka (advisor) ; Strnad, Pavel (referee)
6 Abstract Title: Effect of deep stabilization system on the musculoskeletal system Objectives: The aim of the study is to demonstrate the influence of therapeutic interventions on the deep stabilization system using investigative techniques and principles used used in practice in physiotherapy. Methods: This thesis has been characterized as a case study. It is based on an experimental basis in the form of qualitative research. For the research five clients were chosen with problems in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Applying exercise procedures was to show a positive effect on the deep stabilizing system. Following investigative methods were used: anamnesis, examination of static orientation, trigonometric spine examination, assessment of posture, postural stability testing, palpation, flexion of the neck stereotype by Lewit and "S" reflex. Testing was performed twice, at intervals of 3-4 months. Results: The results showed significant improvement in four out of five clients. Pain, stiffness or paraesthesia cervical, thoracic or lumbar spine alleviated or even disappeared. Postural muscle activation possession and corset improved. Exercises also positively influenced the stereotype of breathing and it was confirmed that an active cooperation of clients is necessary for the most efficient effect of...
Strengthening in patients with nonspecific low back pain
Novák, Dalibor ; Tlapák, Petr (advisor) ; Čech, Zdeněk (referee)
In the present work we compare the effectiveness of therapy in patients with chronic non-specific low back pain (CNLBP) using classical analytical strengthening and strengthening program based on principles of physiotherapy techniques that focus on the stabilization of the spine and are used in the treatment CNLBP. The experiment included a total of 14 patients diagnosed with CNLBP who were divided into two groups (n = 7), each of who underwent a 12-week training either classical or physiotherapy conceived strengthening. As for the evaluated parameters, we chose the size and quality of pain (visual analogue scale and Short Form McGill Pain Questionnaire), restrictions in daily life in relation to LBP (Oswestry Disability Index); we tried to capture a change in the stabilizing muscle function by using a collection of tests according to Kolar (2006). The evaluation took place at the beginning and after the program and then at intervals of six months. The results showed that there was a statistically significant improvement in both groups in the monitored parameters. The difference in results in pain intensity and functional limitations in life when comparing the two groups showed statistically insignificant. Both the groups of patients improved their score in the evaluation of the stabilizing functions of...
